During dinner, Klaus learned of King Alric's family powerhouse status, with 15 other Celestials including his wives and children, alongside hundreds of Supremes and Gods. Pleased by their thriving legacy after his past death, he received five precious time crystals from the King during their walk back. Queen Leah and Supreme Elder Narcisa observed warmly, planning further talks, while Rania rushed to Klaus and boldly offered her blood upon hearing he is a vampire.

Klaus spun around to face Rania, a grin dancing on his lips as he teasingly rejected her suggestion. "Nope. I won’t drink your blood."

She pouted. "Why?"

"No reason."

"You! Is it because I am weak or not one of your wives?"

Klaus chuckled and replied, "Maybe. But none of the above."

This answer only caused Rania to pout harder. She had listened multiple times to Klaus’s wives describing how otherworldly the sensation feels when he drinks their blood.

At first, not knowing Klaus well, she restrained her urge to feel that sensation. But after his return to Earth months ago, she got to understand him more deeply.

That’s when her boldness grew enough to make the request. Yet now, with Klaus turning her down, the rejection hurt deeply.

Noticing her halt in steps, Klaus paused too. He figured tears would come soon, as he’d observed that crying was almost a habit for her.

With no intention to soothe a teary woman at the moment, he grabbed her arm and explained, "The reason why I don’t want to drink your blood is, first, you are a princess. Your blood is royalty, so to drink it, I must first ask for permission.

Second, you are still too weak to satiate my thirst, so there is a chance I might drain you. Lastly, as you said, I only drink my wives’ blood. So as you can see, there are several reasons why drinking your blood is not something I want to do right now."

Klaus anticipated a sigh or more pouting from her. But instead, after his words sank in, she released his hand and dashed off. "I am going to ask my mom’s permission first and come back."

Klaus stood frozen briefly before a grin reappeared on his face. "Very troublesome."

He pivoted and headed off. Before long, he reached the mansion and went straight to Lady Danika’s chamber.

"She is still not up, huh?" he muttered, watching her sleep peacefully.

He lingered only moments longer before departing. Knowing she’d remain asleep for some time, he slipped away to avoid disturbing her.

His wives slumbered as well. Obviously, everyone craved a break for a few days prior to resuming training. He’d vowed to give them a reprieve later anyway.

Back at the pool, he settled in to unwind and kill time.

In the meantime, Rania rushed to her mother’s mansion, discovering her mom and grandmother enjoying a sudden tea session.

Unaware that they had witnessed and overheard her exchange with Klaus, she felt certain her mother would grant any request for her joy. Absolute faith filled her that securing permission would prove simple.

"Mom, I need your permission for Klaus to drink my blood."

The two women exchanged glances and smirked. That familiar smile spelled trouble for her—she’d seen it often, especially upon returning with Klaus’s wives.

Knowing her mom and grandma yearned for details, the sight of that smile sparked an impulse to flee. Yet escaping proved impossible before a God and a Supreme.

Her grandma grinned and drew her into an embrace. "Rania dear, what else are you hiding from us?"

"I-I am not hiding anything. I told you everything I knew."

"No, you haven’t," Queen Leah shot back with a smirk. "You never told us you and Lord Paragon are this close. When did it happen? How did you do it? What should we know about him that you haven’t told us? Spill the beans, Rania."

Rania blinked repeatedly, her mind racing to process the barrage of questions from her mom. Given her mother’s obsession with the Paragon, the flood of inquiries hardly surprised her.

Having endured such grillings previously, she spotted openings to turn things her way. Arriving with a demand, she now saw an unexpected bargaining chip and couldn’t help but smile.

Lady Narcisa caught that smile and realized they’d stepped into Rania’s snare.

Noting her grandma’s awareness of her plan, she beamed and declared,

"I am indeed holding back a few things. However, before I say anything, I need it in a written document that you would allow Klaus to drink my blood. Anything other than that, and you would have to extract the information from my dead body."

"You cheeky brat. When did you become this smart?"

Rania grinned and answered, "I met a beautiful lady called Ohema who taught me that there is business in everything. I have made my proposal known, so if you want to know more, accept it."

Queen Leah studied her lovely daughter briefly before grinning herself. "Well played, Rania. I never knew you had it in you."

"Is anyone really who they seem to be?"

Queen Leah glanced at her mother, who grinned and flicked her wrist, summoning a scroll. Unrolling it, she wrote a few lines by hand, then signed and handed it to Queen Leah for her signature.

After finishing, they passed it to Rania, who scanned it multiple times before adding her own signature. Pleased, she tucked the scroll into her space ring and faced her mom and grandma.

"Now that we got that out of the way, what do you want to know?"

"You can start with why you are so eager to let him drink your blood."

"For starters, I cannot describe the feeling, but from what I heard from his wives, drinking their blood is the most amazing feeling ever. They claim they undergo a very pleasurable moment whenever he drinks their blood. The sensation helps them calm down and release stress.

Also, they claim his bite leaves them wanting more. They also said that whenever he drinks their blood, they grow stronger. I am merely curious here, but after hearing them talk about it several times, I want to experience it in person.

While I may not be able to explain it better now, after experiencing it, I am sure I will have a better description of that feeling." Her words rang true.

Lady Narcisa and Queen Leah both nodded, satisfied with her response to the initial question. "Second, why didn’t you tell us you are close to him?"

"Because you would have pulled my ear and warned me not to mess with him," Rania laughed. "I know how you are when it comes to things related to the Paragon, so I didn’t say anything to save myself some nagging.

That said, I am surprised you aren’t all over him now that he is here. The last I heard, drinking blood makes him powerful, and considering you are a God...and a Supreme, you would become his favourite people after just a single session with him."

The two ladies widened their eyes.
