Klaus confronts his past incarnation, Efad, seeking answers to his origins and purpose in this universe. Efad reveals that Klaus hails from another universe, reincarnated nine times for a critical mission, with memories locked in the Nine Paragon Stars. They discuss the Primal Bloodline, passed to the Burning Angel Hael, which seals the universe and prevents ascension to the Primordial Realm, positioning Hael as a vital backup to Klaus's unknown task. Efad explains the Seven Dominion Eye's role in navigating the weakening universe amid foreign threats, then bestows a final blessing.

Klaus's eyes fluttered open to the outside world.

The moment they did, the vibrant hues of the surroundings faded into shades of black and white. Gazing upward, he realized every element nearby had transformed.

Though Lord Victor and Rory appeared as humans, the vision Klaus now possessed pierced far beyond ordinary sight.

Initially, streams of energy coursing through their forms became visible. He discerned the number of Immortal Rings they possessed, their strength levels, and even the precise spots of their cores.

Beyond that, their domains and hidden secrets invisible to regular eyes unfolded before him.

He even peered past their outer shells, delving into their bone frameworks. In that instant, a profound understanding of their entire beings washed over him.

Flaws within their physiques revealed themselves, along with methods to mend them. His gaze had evolved into a mystical scanner akin to an X-ray device from beyond the mortal realm.

Yet this revelation caused his forehead to crease, as the truth he uncovered painted Rory and her father as extraordinary freaks of the natural order.

Each of the nine Immortal Rings controlled by Lord Victor provided a 30% enhancement, whereas Rory's offered 28%.

This revelation caught him completely off guard.

For most, 30% marked the maximum amplification from an Immortal Ring. In reality, it could reach 35%. But with Lord Victor achieving 30% per ring, the cumulative effect across all nine amounted to a staggering 270% increase.

Such power rendered him extraordinarily formidable. No ordinary Immortal Lord could stand a chance against him in combat with that level of augmentation.

Putting that aside, Klaus spotted another detail.

Peering into their eyes, he detected three distinct auras emanating: gold, silver, and blue.

Their meanings eluded him, but he pushed the mystery aside as a voice suddenly addressed him.

"Congratulations on mastering the Seven Dominion Eye Art."

Klaus shifted his attention to the Burning Angel.

While Lord Victor and Rory appeared in monochrome through his enhanced vision, the Burning Angel retained his vivid colors.

This immediately signaled that his newfound ability held no power over him.

Returning his focus to the pair, they stayed in black and white, confirming his suspicion. With a sigh, he chose to turn off the technique entirely. He wasn't yet ready to wield it against a Celestial.

"Thank you," he replied, rising to his feet and brushing off the dust before ascending into the sky once more. "How long was I unconscious?"

"Seven hours. That's quite remarkable, truly." Despite his astonishment at Klaus's feat of the impossible, another concern now dominated his mind.

He had suspected Klaus to be the Paragon. Yet, detecting no Paragon energy, he dismissed it as a possible flaw in the token.

That doubt had vanished completely. Now, certainty gripped him: Klaus was undoubtedly the Paragon.

Klaus fixed his eyes on him, locking gazes for several moments before breaking into a grin. Then, through telepathy, he communicated,

’I know you recognize me as the Paragon and that our histories intertwine deeply, so drop the act. These two are already aware of my true identity, just as you are, since they possess means to detect it as well.’

Silence hung for a brief spell from the Burning Angel. But soon, a grin spread across his features.

"How did you pull it off?" he inquired.

"Pull off what?"

"How did you conceal your aura? The one that perpetually alerts the heavens to your status as the Paragon."

Klaus chuckled, finding the Burning Angel's curiosity almost comical. He had anticipated a query about swiftly grasping all seven levels of the technique. Instead, this question drew out his laughter.

"I guess it's fair to say you're not the sole bearer of a Primal Bloodline."

The Burning Angel arched an eyebrow. "Ah, so that's the secret. It seems you planned this from the beginning."

He pivoted toward Lord Victor and Rory. "Apologies for endangering your lives. I merely sought confirmation and required some assurance."

They acknowledged with nods, but the expression in their eyes betrayed lingering distrust, which Klaus noted keenly. Intrigued, he probed further,

"Those colors—what do they signify?"

When scanning Rory and her father, three hues had appeared. Though their implications escaped him, the Burning Angel's long experience with them granted him insight.

"They reveal a person's emotional, sentimental, and mental conditions. Every shade corresponds to an emotion, sentiment, or thought process."

"Gold, silver, and blue," Klaus echoed.

"Gold signifies trust. It emerges in those who hold faith in you, typically after prolonged interactions. Naturally, if you convey your own trust and they sense it, they might reciprocate.

That's how I determined they were trustworthy and held back from slaying them on the spot.

Silver denotes fear. Both exhibit it, which is expected. Mere Immortals before a Celestial— that's reason enough for their authenticity in feelings.

Threatening them to provoke you only worsened matters. My apologies again.

Blue indicates sorrow or regret." He hesitated, glancing at Lord Victor and Rory.

"I'm genuinely puzzled by its presence, but perhaps the realization of impending death stirred their grief and remorse. You'd be amazed at the regrets people harbor, only emerging at life's end.

I've shown mercy to many due to those very sentiments. Some proved to be decent souls forced into villainy to protect themselves and their dear ones."

Klaus inclined his head, somewhat taken aback by the depths concealed in mere colors. He'd spotted only three, yet he suspected more awaited discovery in time.

Grasping their meanings could allow him, with a mere look, to judge a person's fate or pinpoint the vulnerability to exploit.

But before he sought elaboration, the Burning Angel continued.

"I'll reach out via the Dark Space soon. Lingering here risks drawing more Celestials into the hunt, and I assure you, that would spell disaster.

So, share the favors you desire—I owe you six."

Klaus agreed with a nod.

He certainly didn't wish to spark a Celestial brawl on his account. With the Burning Angel as an ally, he could relax, assured that the Warrior Tower wouldn't pursue him with unbridled hostility.

Minor clashes might arise occasionally, but they wouldn't dispatch elite forces against him, not with the Burning Angel shielding him covertly.

True, he had spurned the Supremes' offerings to clarify his position and assert his complexity. Still, he recognized the need to meet them promptly and offer amends.

The very notion of antagonizing the Universe Bank or the academy filled him with dread.

Moreover, facing enmity from one or several Supremes, he urgently required a weapon from a Supreme Engineer's private collection and the Universe Bank's support for future acquisitions.

But those matters could wait.

For now, reconciling with Rory and her father took priority.
