The Invincible Full-Moon System Chapter 1876: Last Race Evolution Quest
Previously on The Invincible Full-Moon System...
Truth be told, Rex doubted that April possessed the capability to succeed.
Simply consuming the blood he had left behind by itself would prove nearly impossible.
Davina herself never ingested that volume of his blood; her unyielding willpower had been forged across countless years of intense combat experience, complemented by her status as a once-in-a-billion prodigy from an elite bloodline.
He figured there was better than a ninety percent likelihood that April would perish in the effort.
He had denied Rosie the opportunity to demonstrate her worth back then. Although the outcome likely would have remained unchanged, he regretted not offering her that shot. In her memory now, he extended the chance to April. Yet this didn't imply any relaxation of his rigorous standards.
Each pack member under him stands out exceptionally in their unique manner.
The Rastrikan Demons he converted were already formidable when he first crossed paths with them.
His benchmarks have escalated even higher ever since.
One stands as the lone pack member who stumbled into Silverstar status through sheer luck and momentary desperation. No such pressing need exists today. For April to remain at his side, she must claw her way in fiercely.
Even if she somehow miraculously absorbed the blood, the subsequent trial would doom her.
Submerging in that blood pond would strain her psyche to greater extremes.
The System revealed that the pond imbues entrants with his fury. This meant April would confront the rage and bitterness he harbored from the tragic night his birth parents fell, extending all the way to Ruston's demise.
And surviving it proves no trivial feat.
Rex himself succumbed to madness on repeated occasions.
After acquiring the System, he gained better control, yet fierce outbursts still erupted sporadically.
Given April's tendencies, that pond would overwhelm her completely.
The most probable outcome saw Rex returning to the Spirit Realm to find April had flown into a frenzy, resulting in her death or execution. In any case, he had steeled himself for such grim news from the instant he granted her the trial.
Rex blinked, a realization suddenly striking him.
To finish the second Rave Evolution Quest, three conditions demanded fulfillment: thirty pack members, universal recognition of him as Alpha, and imprinting a unique trait upon them.
He had already accomplished the first pair, yet the third had scarcely entered his considerations.
Still, the second Race Evolution Quest had mysteriously concluded.
<Notice: the Silverstar Pack already has its own characteristic due to the user’s constitution>
<Double Body. All members of the Silverstar Pack have a human form, as well as a second form that is distinct from their previous race, mixed into the werewolf form. Because of this double body, Silverstars could wield two sources of power at the same time.>
Regular werewolves stick to a single form alone, whereas every Silverstar commands both human and beastly aspects. Whenever Rex authorizes their second form, they can manifest it. This trait alone distinguishes them as a fresh race entirely.
<Please enter the name for the new race: ....>
Rex folded his arms, sinking into contemplation.
He racked his mind desperately for a suitable name, but suitable concepts evaded him.
Maybe those relentless blows to his skull had pummeled his creativity into oblivion, leaving it buried somewhere deep below. He felt certain that a botched naming would spark complaints from the others.
Rex nodded decisively, convinced that Lycan perfectly matched them.
<Does the user want to name the new race ’Greater Lycan’?>
<Affirmative.>
...
<Race Evolution Quest — 3 of 3>
Description: Sufficient loyal members have been gathered. Now, the user may announce yourself as a new Origin. The Greater Lycan Origin. The double-body characteristic is unique; no other race ever existed since the dawn of time possesses it. In order to establish the Greater Lycan Race, the user must now acquire a power source capable of amplifying that characteristic.
Complete the following to unlock the Origin-rank bloodline:
• Find and establish a connection to a God to bolster the new Greater Lycan race
• Undergo the First Blood Claim ritual
Rewards: Unlock an Origin-rank bloodline.

Rex scanned the third and final race evolution quest, stroking his chin thoughtfully.
In truth, he remained utterly clueless about the concluding steps toward Origin status. However, these demands illuminated the System's elevated threshold for origins. Every other Supernatural Origin he knew of had arisen spontaneously.
They sought a God's power only when extinction loomed.
Now, though, Rex required divine blessing upfront to qualify as an Origin.
"Maybe the era has advanced, and this is the fresh requirement," Rex reread the notification—his brows knitting into a deep frown. "With precise knowledge now on becoming an Origin, Void... He’s pursuing these exact steps as well."
Rex understood that the Dark Angels remained a mystery even to Flunra.
Void had matched his power level, or maybe surpassed it, prior to entering the Spirit Realm.
Moreover, Void himself had founded the Dark Angels.
Besides, the Angel Origin known as the First Light had perished, leaving Rex convinced that Void had somehow uncovered the route to ascending as a new Origin. Despite how unbelievable it seemed, Void possessed this knowledge and had begun his pursuit of Origin status long ahead of Rex.
"There must be over thirty Dark Angels now," Rex mused aloud. "Which puts Void at the final stage just like me. He’ll hunt for a God to empower his emerging Dark Angel race. Could he be in the God Realm?"
Memories of Morgana reaching out to Void flashed in Rex’s mind, prompting a swift headshake.
If Void resided in the God Realm, Morgana surely couldn’t have connected with him so effortlessly.
"I’m uncertain how my abilities will transform upon returning to the Mortal Realm—but I must achieve Origin status ahead of him," Rex affirmed with a nod, gazing upward at the starlit night sky. Closing his eyes, he attempted to reach out to another.
Given his current absence from the God Realm, connecting with her ought to succeed.
His assumption proved correct.
A majestic divine form rose from his shadow, her mere existence warping the surrounding realm.
"Is this your realm...?" Nivellen gazed about in awe.
"Yes," Rex replied, opening his eyes with a nod. "It’s fresh, but it serves its purpose."
"Serves its purpose? It’s utterly astonishing," She floated nearby for inspection. Lifting a finger, she tested her power. A thin strand of dark energy flowed from her fingertip, heightening the distortion enveloping her.
Shortly after, space fractured. The rift extended roughly ten meters.
"Three seconds for a crack this small?" Nivellen directed a satisfied grin at Rex. "For a newborn realm, yours is remarkably resilient. Rex Silverstar, you keep astonishing me."
For such a nascent realm, the fracture should have appeared immediately upon her power’s release, spanning at least tenfold this size. Yet it delayed three seconds and remained tiny.
This single feat demonstrated the realm’s superior craftsmanship.
It might well be the sturdiest foundational new realm she had ever witnessed.
"I’ll keep surprising you," Rex returned the smile, folding his arms.
"Do you need to ask me something?"
"Yes. Can you serve as the Goddess to elevate me to Origin?"
Nivellen froze, taken aback by his plea.
With God Realm access secured, numerous superior Gods awaited as potential power sources for his race, outshining Nivellen. Innumerable mightier deities existed, ripe for Rex’s outreach and bargaining.
Yet now, he prioritized his trusted allies.
Rex aimed to ensure his power’s ascent stayed untainted.
He had seen it firsthand—Kaiser and fellow Lunirich Gods massacring werewolves at whim, unchecked. He refused such a fate for himself or his pack. No deity would view them as mere pawns.
Securing another proved challenging and pointless with a fitting one present.
As Nivellen stayed silent, Rex pressed on. "No concerns needed. I’ll aid your further strengthening as well. Just become the one to forge me into an Origin," He allowed the offer to linger, extending his welcoming hand. "You crowned me Prince initially. I desire you to crown me Origin too."
"Oh, dear..." A radiant smile bloomed across Nivellen’s features.
She grasped his hand, seemingly signaling agreement, yet it wasn’t so.
"Though I yearn for that dream to come true, I cannot," Nivellen clasped Rex’s hand in both of hers. "I remain confined to the Banished Realm, unable to wield my complete might. Plus, bonds with the other Lunirich Gods bind me. Their approval is required too."
"Alright, I’ll handle those issues—"
"No," Her tone stayed soft yet resolute, interrupting him. "Resolving those hurdles demands too much time, and I won’t let you risk yourself or your allies for it. Rex, your choice flatters me beyond words, placing me foremost. Still, seek another God."
The words stung to utter, yet Nivellen recognized their necessity.
Devoting effort to her would merely hinder Rex’s urgent progress.
She refused to burden him that way.
"No need to fret. I get your worries," she smiled once more, softening the tense creases on Rex’s brow. The mere idea of sifting through the Gods had him on edge, a task both arduous and perilous. "I’ll suggest a fitting candidate."
"Seriously?" Rex’s eyes lit up. "Who is it? Which God?"
"At the start, just one God held sway over the moon. We Lunirich Gods seized the biggest share of it, shrinking her dominion over the Full Moon—yet we couldn’t completely wipe it out." Nivellen’s eyes wandered, immersed in recollections of the Lunirich Gods’ united, indomitable past. "She’s the Goddess of the Greater Moon. Aylith.
"Her domain goes by Lunathal the Great Pale Court." She continued.
"Is she trustworthy? Would she hurt my loved ones?"
"She predates me by ages. Much older. Traditional to the core. If you get her to promise not to harm you or your dear ones, she’ll honor it. She’d sooner forfeit her divinity than shatter her vow."
"Precisely who I need," Rex withdrew his hand. "You’ve helped tremendously, like always."
"I wish you good fortune then."
Nivellen disappeared once more, abandoning the realm.
Once she departed, Rex averted his gaze, "Goddess of the Greater Moon... Does this signal that Greater Lycan is a solid race name?" He licked his lips with a grin that surfaced only for brewing mischief. "So, what’s the best way to reach her?"
