Evelyn, consumed by rage, attempts to attack the uncanny Godling but is restrained by Princess Selene amid warnings from the Great Luna to escape the dire situation. The uncanny Godling commands Princess Selene to kill Evelyn, Gistella, and Adhara to prove her loyalty, leaving her torn between survival and her recent alliance with the Silverstar Pack. Noticing some Godlings permanently slain by Adhara and Gistella, Princess Selene wavers as Rex's enraged soul bursts into the dimension from the Spirit Realm, declaring blood vendetta against Kaiser and unleashing a howl that empowers his pack members. Rex teleports Evelyn and Gistella to safety, entrusts Adhara with strengthened spirits Amanir and Devo, before being forced back by a devastating moonlight beam from the blood moon.

Upon the forceful collision, Rex found himself flung backward.

A pristine, mirror-smooth marble floor mirrored the trajectory of his blood as he soared and crashed into the wall with a resounding boom. From the majestic wall, he descended, trailing red streaks until he tumbled onto the surface below.

Yet, he maintained his upright kneeling posture.

His grip tightened fiercely on his face as fury surged through every part of him.

"Your Majesty!" Linthia hurried over to him in worry.

"Give him some space right now," Princess Davina grabbed her arm and halted her advance.

Linthia felt like protesting.

She sensed that a mighty force had hit Rex, and she could aid in his recovery.

But quickly, she understood Princess Davina's point.

A disturbing, grinding sound from deep within reached her ears. Soon after, an intense heat scorched her flesh. Turning her attention back to Rex, she saw these sensations emanated from him—the manifestations of his seething rage.

Rex had devoted much time lately to gearing up for his journey back home.

However, a few days prior, an unexpected alert appeared.

The System issued a dire warning: the Silverstar Pack faced an assault, and his companions were in grave peril.

This came while he was wrapping up affairs in the Spirit Realm.

Without a second thought, Rex acted swiftly.

He abandoned all tasks and hastened to return to the Mortal Realm.

At that instant, nothing else mattered except arriving to aid them promptly.

To re-enter the Mortal Realm, the optimal route was retracing his entry to the Spirit Realm—the simplest way, enabling immediate fusion with his true form via the Spirit Conversion technique.

En route, he located the precise positions of his allies in the Mortal Realm.

As he dreaded, they weren't at their base. Not in Dargena City.

An enemy struck while they traveled elsewhere. Out in the open. Possibly divided.

Rex might have stayed composed if they were within the city walls, as the castle adapted to the world's power levels. Currently, it could likely withstand threats from the tenth-rank realm or even stronger.

But his pack wasn't there.

Given the slower time flow in this place, Rex skipped merging with his original body.

Rather, he targeted a specific spot in the Spirit Realm to emerge directly where his companions were. He planned to use a provisional form to assist them, then join his main body later.

The System suggested this approach, and Rex agreed it was wiser.

Due to this adjustment, over half a day passed before he reached the designated spot.

Curiously, it lay within Dorn’s domain, which proved advantageous.

At that point, Rex lacked knowledge of the identity of the attacker targeting the Silverstar Pack in the Mortal Realm.

His thoughts pointed toward the Angels.

Though located at the continent's edge and blocked by Demons, this emerging force somehow accessed his group. Having faced Void personally, his suspicions leaned that way.

Yet, it wasn't the Angels.

Kaiser emerged as the perpetrator yet again.

This revelation didn't stem from the System or detecting the Blood Moon’s aura.

He discovered it purely by accident.

After readying to breach and ripping through the dimensional barrier, a red vista confronted him.

A barrier of blood reinforced the divide between realms.

The Spirit Conversion alone couldn't pierce this obstacle. He might infuse more gold to bolster it, but the expense was immense. Even presently, he lacked sufficient gold to shatter it.

In fact, amassing enough for the basic method proved challenging.

He had no extra to enhance it.

It was then that the pieces fell into place.

Kaiser wasn't retaliating for Rex seizing the Blood Moon’s essence via the taboo ritual. Nor for Kaiser's odd ploy to boost Empress Morgana’s strike against him. His rise to Awakened Demigod. And the time discrepancies noted via the System.

All formed part of a grand scheme to cocoon him in false security and assurance.

These were signs of Kaiser's hidden maneuvers.

Rex had fixated on his advancement and lingering mysteries.

He overlooked the broader scheme—that Kaiser erected this barrier to block his return to the Mortal Realm. Rex believed the Blood Moon still pursued him relentlessly, but it had evolved.

Through repeated failures to eliminate Rex, none prevailed.

Direct assaults. Ambush tactics. Even deploying the Blood Moon’s own territory failed.

It grew evident that outright slaying Rex was difficult.

With the entity supporting him and his unyielding spirit, direct elimination turned impossible.

Not even Gods could achieve it easily.

Thus, the Blood Moon watched. Adapted. Evolved.

It deduced that only Rex himself could end Rex.

Rex’s claws tore into his features, etching deep wounds as memories of the Mortal Realm scene replayed in his thoughts.

He pushed beyond limits, enforcing serenity to transport Gistella and Evelyn to the safety of the Silverstar Genesis. But only two could go. One remained—Adhara, whom he judged most fit.

Abandoning her to battle solo drove him to madness.

Merely imagining her struggling alone suffocated him, and he squeezed his face until his claws pierced bone.

Yet, she alone held a fighting chance.

"Can you see what’s happening beyond the portal?" Linthia asked Princess Davina.

She burned with curiosity.

"Just a glimpse," Princess Davina nodded. "Beyond is an isolated dimension—surrounded by an ocean of blood. A battlefield littered with corpses and blood. And the survivors are only werewolves. All were wounded and seemed to know Rex... intimately."

Peering past the blood-cloaked veil proved tricky, but she possessed unique methods.

And she discerned faint details of the scene.

From her words, Linthia inferred those werewolves were his pack.

Only threats to them could ignite such fury in Rex.

"This is unfair..." Linthia balled her hands as her body shook with emotion. "Why are these things always happening to His Majesty? He never gets a moment to rest. To breathe. To recover. Why does it feel like everyone is going out of their way to destroy him?"

"The answer is quite simple," Princess Davina breathed out softly. "He’s destined for more."

Even she wondered if she could retain her composure in Rex’s shoes.

His existence was beyond mere stress.

"Hmm...?" Princess Davina lifted her eyebrows as Rex rose to his feet.

His chest continued mending, tissues knitting back, and blood pooled around him on the floor. Yet his posture straightened. His gaze held firm. And his pulse steadied.

Resembling a spectral figure drenched in gore, he approached the dimensional rift he had created.

Princess Davina drew Linthia aside.

Having spent her youth amid wars and the fury of mighty warriors, she honed instincts for detecting others' wrath and navigating it. Even Duke Lorcan, her father, became unreachable in his rage's height.

He ignored even her pleas, his kin.

And now, Rex reached that threshold.

They should let him settle.

Rex positioned himself before the rift. Before the blood barrier. With a surge of power, he balled his hand and struck the shield. His force erupted on contact, fracturing the room as if it were fragile panes.

<Notice: the user is not strong enough to break the wall of blood>

This alert failed to deter him.

Instead, it fueled his anger further.

Bam—!

Bam—!

Strike followed strike, Rex’s blows pounded the barrier relentlessly.

All his pent-up wrath and irritation poured into each impact.

Though his hand's bones fractured, Rex persisted. The shockwaves from his barrage crumbled parts of the chamber. Princess Davina levitated and enveloped the space with her aura to prevent a cave-in.

She refrained from intervening.

He needed to release it all to regain control for his upcoming actions.

Crack—!

Rex’s power surged once more against the immovable wall, achieving nothing—as he exhaled heavily. His eyes glowed with fading intensity, then he pivoted, striding toward the hallway.

"What are you going to do now?" Princess Davina questioned, blocking his path. "What will be your next move?"

Having accompanied Rex for some time, she anticipated his response.

Others might deem it foolish, but she knew it would be his choice.

"I think you already know," Rex’s tone carried an icy tranquility.

One that contrasted sharply with the intense bloodthirst radiating from him.

Rex glanced back, revealing a face hardened like iron—resolve carved deep. His lips curved slightly. The light from the lamps illuminated half his features, casting the other in darkness, one eye aflame while the other lurked in shadow.

"I’ve been on the back foot for too long," He murmured threateningly. "I’m going to see how he would like it to be the one hunted. I’m going to the God Realm..."

...

<Sudden Quest: God Hunt>

Objective: Hunt down the Six Blood Cycles of the Blood Moon

Description: For daring to touch the Alpha’s pack members—and as a newly ascended Scion—Kaiser of the Scarlet Garland becomes the first among the Gods the user must defeat. To shatter the Blood Moon and shake its foundation, the user must hunt the Six Blood Cycles: extensions of Kaiser’s will and stabilizers of his power.

Blood Cycle killed: 0 / 6

Rewards: Depends on the user’s performance.

...

"As expected," Princess Davina smiled at him as her guess was correct. "You’re insane as always."

"I take that as a compliment," Rex grinned as he walked away to prepare.

On the other hand, Linthia was at a loss for words.

"God Realm...?" She repeated, eyes widening in shock. She felt her heart drop to her stomach at what she heard. "We’re entering a realm where Gods have no limitations?! I can’t even fathom how this is a good idea!"

"You can always stay behind," Princess Davina giggled and also left her behind.

Linthia paused for a second.

She then gritted her teeth, "Wait for me!"

...

Realms differ in strength and tier based on their internal energy density.

The Mortal Realm ranks lowest due to the ancient sealing, with the Spirit Realm slightly superior. Historically, these realms balanced each other. Currently, Rex remained unaware of other realms beyond these two.

Similar energy-level realms undoubtedly existed.

However, the God Realm stands apart.

It has eternally occupied a superior tier, parallel to the Chaos Realm.

Unlike the Spirit Realm, the God Realm requires no unique entry rituals. It welcomes all. Yet entering and surviving are distinct—mortal peril awaits beyond.

No rational being would venture into the God Realm without godlike power themselves.

But Rex defied rationality.

"Enjoy your last moments, Kaiser," Rex grinned as he stepped into the portal. "I’m hunting you down,"
