"I brought a map showing the monster's location. Why don't you guys take a look at it first?"

Keyn pulled a map out of her magic storage.

"A map?"

Everyone was caught off guard.

"Wait… how did you get that? And why didn't you tell us sooner?" Tony asked.

Keyn smiled awkwardly and scratched her head.

"Sorry. I wasn't trying to hide it from you guys. I just thought it'd be safer not to show you right away. I mean, there's always a chance one of you could be a spy or from another team."

Everyone's expressions turned serious. Keyn's words made perfect sense.

"Can I take a look?"

Ayakami held out her right hand.

"Sure."

Keyn handed her the rolled-up map.

Ayakami took it and unrolled it.

"I want to see it too!" Mary said excitedly as she stood up and walked over to Ayakami.

Tony and Kleith did the same.

Only Mike stayed where he was, sipping his beer.

His gaze occasionally drifted toward Nolan, who was eating a piece of bread and sipping his beer in the distance.

"Hmmm…" Ayakami's eyes narrowed slightly. "According to this map, the monster's location is in a cave called Turgard, on the northern side of where we are."

She placed the map on the ground and pointed to a cave symbol depicting the head of a monkey-like monster.

"And here we are."

Then, she moved her finger to a location about two hundred meters away, labeled Luvas.

"How do you know we're in Luvas?" Mary asked hesitantly.

Ayakami smiled and pointed to the twin-tree symbol.

"Look over there. Aren't those the twin trees the map is talking about?"

She raised her head and pointed her left index finger into the distance.

Everyone's gaze followed the direction she was pointing. About twenty meters away, two trees stood right next to each other.

Unlike the other trees, these two were unusually tall, reaching about thirty meters in height.

Meanwhile, the surrounding trees were only ten to fifteen meters tall.

"You're right! Those are the twin trees!" Keyn exclaimed in amazement.

Ayakami simply smiled before turning her gaze back to the map.

"According to my Master, that ape monster is very active from morning until evening. It sleeps at night, which means now is our chance to attack it!"

Everyone's eyes widened. Although it was a bit sudden, her words made sense.

They had been stuck in this place for more than three days without making any progress.

Now that they knew the target's location, they had to move quickly. Otherwise, another team might beat them to it.

"In that case, let's go now!" Kleith said enthusiastically.

"No, don't rush."

Ayakami closed the map and handed it back to Keyn.

"That ape monster is high-level, or even city-level. Although our combined strength is enough to defeat it, we still need to prepare and come up with a plan. Anything less would be suicide."

With a snap of her fingers, two pieces of bread appeared in the air before falling into Nolan's hands.
