Seira, Nolan's fiancée, visits him in the hospital after he wakes from a coma. They share an emotional reunion, but Seira's possessiveness surfaces when she sees another bouquet. Nolan reassures her that it was from his college friend Carl and explains his slow recovery. Seira eagerly plans a trip abroad with Nolan once he's discharged, but Nolan becomes serious, questioning how he survived his severe accident.

Nolan still remembered clearly what had happened to him. The accident had been severe—his car had been hit by a massive truck.

The impact had completely destroyed his car.

And his body had been no better.

For several hours, he had existed as a wandering spirit, watching as his body was recovered and seeing how devastated and frustrated Seira had been.

But now, Nolan found the situation strange… almost illogical.

He was fine. He wasn't seriously injured—he was simply in a coma.

This directly contradicted what he had seen while he was a wandering spirit.

Seira was startled by his words. She looked deeply into Nolan's eyes before speaking softly.

"You… did have a serious accident. But the doctors managed to save you, Nolan. Unfortunately…"

A sigh escaped her lips.

"You were in a deep coma for two whole years. Fortunately… fortunately, you're awake now."

She leaned forward and hugged Nolan, who was still lying on the bed.

Nolan felt a sharp pain, but more than that, he became increasingly confused.

Seira's answer didn't satisfy him at all. He wanted to ask more questions, but he hesitated.

In the end, he decided to keep his doubts to himself.

Seira rubbed her cheek against Nolan's before whispering, "Once you're better, let's celebrate, okay? I really want everyone to know that the man I love has finally woken up from his coma. And I want to tell those who are after me that you're my man!"

Nolan was stunned by her words.

"What did you mean by that second part? Is someone after you?"

Seira pursed her lips in annoyance.

"You might not know this, but I've had tons of suitors ask to marry me. Of course, I turned them all down. Even so, they're still persistent. One of them is a man named James."

She pulled away from Nolan's embrace, clenched both fists, and grumbled, "He's from the Voncort family—a powerful conglomerate in Western Europe. Their influence is quite strong, though still not as great as the Charles family's. He contacts me every day and…"

She went on to explain everything she had gone through while Nolan was in a coma.

Nolan was naturally furious. Seira was his woman. How could he possibly stay calm knowing that someone had been harassing her?

"Okay, James. How dare you try to steal my fiancée?" The corner of Nolan's mouth twitched as rage surged through him. "I was able to turn the Blue Moon Trading House into the wealthiest trading house in just a few years, and I also have another identity as the Singularity of Chaos. But you, a mere human, dare to mess with me? Just wait and see how I'm going to deal with you."

Of course, neither of those identities existed on Earth. But Nolan was already used to standing above others, so his arrogance came naturally.

A smile appeared on Seira's face, but she quickly hid it.

"Have you eaten yet? What about the doctor's restrictions?" Seira changed the subject.

Nolan shook his head.

"I'm not allowed to eat anything yet. But porridge is fine."

"Okay, wait a minute. I'll make some for you."

Seira turned and walked toward the kitchen at the far end of the room.

Nolan simply lay there, waiting for Seira to finish cooking.

"How long have I been waiting for this moment?" he muttered, closing his eyes with a faint smile.

"I don't know. But one thing's for sure—it's been a very, very long time."

A few days passed quickly. During that time, Seira personally took care of Nolan.

Except when she needed a nurse's help with a few important things, Seira handled almost everything herself, even helping Nolan use the bathroom.

Nolan was deeply touched, but he didn't want to become a burden to her.

He asked her to go back home so she wouldn't have to spend all her time taking care of him.

But Seira stubbornly refused.

"You're my fiancé. Isn't it only natural that I take care of you?"

Nolan was deeply moved when he heard that.

What he didn't know was that Seira didn't want Nolan to be touched by any other woman—not even the nurses at the hospital.

The hospital where Nolan was being treated was the most exclusive and prestigious hospital in the country.

Naturally, the nurses who worked there were also beautiful, with attractive faces and figures.

So, to prevent any unwanted situations, Seira refused to let anyone else take care of Nolan.

Only she was allowed to see him in such a weak and helpless state.

"Is it tasty?"

Seira looked at Nolan with hopeful eyes.

Nolan swallowed the porridge in his mouth and nodded slightly.

"Delicious. Did you add pepper to it?"

"Mhmm! I know how painful it is to eat bland food. It's torturous. So, I added a little black pepper and salt."

Nolan chuckled softly. He bowed his head and said respectfully, "Thank you for your kindness, Your Highness."

Seira was startled for a moment before smiling and giving him a slight bow.

"You're welcome, my prince."

The two looked at each other and burst into laughter. Seira then went back to feeding Nolan.

Nolan was different from when he had first woken up. He could move his body now, though still only to a limited extent.

At the very least, he could sit up instead of constantly lying in bed.

"By the way, honey."

Seira's expression turned serious as she handed Nolan a glass of water.

"Uncle and Aunt are coming to visit this afternoon."

Nolan remained calm, as if the news didn't matter much.

"I understand."

He took a sip of water.

Seira let out a small sigh when she saw his impassive expression. However, she didn't blame him.

The relationship between Nolan and his parents was somewhat strained. They didn't share the kind of affection a family normally should.

Seira sometimes felt sorry for him. She didn't want Nolan to keep enduring that kind of pain.

That was why she always tried to cheer him up whenever she had the chance, hoping to help him forget his sadness.

Then, Seira suddenly remembered something, and a smile blossomed across her face.

"I have a surprise for you."

"A surprise?"

Three question marks seemed to float above Nolan's head.

Seira simply smiled and said mysteriously, "You'll see later."

Nolan blinked in confusion. But he wasn't the type to fall for tricks like that, so he simply nodded and said nothing.

After they finished eating, Seira helped him take a bath. Nolan still couldn't stand, let alone walk, so he had to use a wheelchair.

Seira was also the one who bathed him.

At first, Nolan felt embarrassed since it was the first time someone else had ever bathed him.

But after a while, he kind of got used to it. The two of them even took baths together and shared a few intimate moments that only couples could really understand.

Two hours later, Nolan had changed into some fresh clothes and looked refreshed and even more handsome.

He sat in his wheelchair with Seira standing behind him. They faced the door and waited quietly.

A few moments later, they heard footsteps coming from outside.

The door slowly opened, and a middle-aged couple walked in.

Nolan was about to greet them when his gaze suddenly fell on a little girl walking beside the woman.

"Huh? Who's that girl?"
