Werewolf king Lupus discovered the death of his commander and the loss of five thousand warriors during an invasion. Meanwhile, the Tudor family, including Liam, Dave, and David, met to discuss their failed attempt to seize Alec's territory, realizing Alec's potential was underestimated. Alec, with his wyvern Zenith, launched a fiery assault on one of the Twin brothers' cities.

In contrast to Alec’s own domain, where vast stretches of land separated the cities, the territory belonging to the twins was packed tightly together, however they have been building their domain much longer than Alec.

Looking down from the back of the Wyvern he rode, the expanse below resembled a single, sprawling Kingdom.

Having forcefully breached his way into the twins’ domain, he knew it was only a matter of time before the main lord who rules over the cities would be alerted and come running to face him.

So, he waited, he had absolutely no desire to slaughter the innocent citizens living below, though he wouldn’t hesitate to reduce their military forces to ash if they chose to interfere.

However; given the massive casualties their forces had already suffered at his city gates, he seriously doubted they had many warriors left to defend the rest of their kingdom.

“Hmmm!” muttered Dave, one of the Black twins, as a sudden, intense sensation flared from his city heart, although his city heart functioned way below Alec’s own, however it was still capable of warning him when an invasion occurred and indicating the general direction of the assault.

The other four Tudors present in the room caught the abrupt shift in his expression right away, and they turned to face him simultaneously, their expressions silently demanding an immediate explanation.

“I’m under attack? That’s insane,” Dave muttered, frowning deeply at the prospect of Alec’s army arriving at their border.

“We just moved against him, and his domain was already facing attacks from two different directions; how in the world could he still have enough forces to gather for a march on my domain?”

“Even if he did send an army, they shouldn’t have been able to cover that distance so quickly,” David noted.

“They would have needed to march all the way to our domain which would take days due to the movements of that many mens, and there isn’t any other lord’s domain with a teleportation Nexus in this part of the wilderness region besides us which means teleportation isn’t involved.”

But then, Liam finally spoke up.

“I don’t believe he sent an army,” Liam said.

“If you recall his approach with the orc lord and the other human lord who attempted to invade him, he didn’t deploy an army. Instead, he only dispatched a few of his golems to eliminate the lords and bring back the city lord tokens.”

“I think this situation is exactly like that, since an army could not have traversed the vast distance between our domains this fast, the simplest way for him to eliminate you all would be to just send his golems to finish the job.”

The moment Liam finished speaking, everyone began to nod their heads, agreeing that this was the most likely explanation for the situation.

"Well, since this new lord has grown confident enough to believe an army of assassin golems can eliminate us, let’s destroy his precious magical construct. If nothing else, that should teach him some restraint," Dave declared before blasting out of the room with his hotheaded temper, as his black sleeked hair seems to flare up due to his anger, Rhen and Flint followed behind, hot on his heels.

David turned immediately to Liam and said,

"You should probably return to your kingdom. You won’t be of much help once the battle begins, we will contact you after everything here settles down."

With those final words, David also rushed out of the throne room, pursuing the streaks of magical light. Within a minute, he caught up to the other three. However, seeing them standing completely frozen, he looked ahead and spotted a figure and its mount, instantly realizing they had miscalculated terribly.

It was not a golem standing before their kingdom’s doorstep, it was the Lord himself. Even though his own domain was actively under siege, he had casually ridden over on the back of a massive creature resembling a dragon.

David wondered what kind of absolute confidence it took for a man to behave this way. Only two explanations made sense for Alec’s sudden arrival: he was either profoundly foolish or remarkably brave.

“Finally, you busy people showed up. I’ve been waiting for about two minutes now. I don’t indiscriminately kill citizens, which is why I waited for you all to arrive. I’m glad you received my message,” Alec spoke casually.

His relaxed tone deeply baffled the four Tier 8 mages standing before him, they struggled to discern whether he was merely bluffing to escape his predicament or if he truly possessed no fear of them, given how entirely unbothered he appeared.

“By the way, before I begin, I would like to say something,” Alec continued, gesturing toward the other two Tudor lords who did not belong to the wilderness region.

“From what I have observed and learned, I can conclude that neither of you had anything to do with the attack on my kingdom. Since we share no blood feud, I will grant you both a single chance to walk away from this. By doing so, you will save your own lives,” he offered.

Hearing his words, the two Tudor mages considered him entirely reckless rather than brave, as they were now feeling utterly undermined by his proposition, and they wanted nothing more than to strike him down right then and there.

The way he had spoken to Rhen and Flint had definitely rubbed them the wrong way, and by now, they didn’t care about anything else—they just wanted him dead.

Seeing the reaction of the two Tudor clansmen, Dave snickered at Alec’s attempt to divide them, confident that familial loyalty would hold them together.

However, that was the catch. Alec had intentionally spoken those specific words to rile them up, ensuring they wouldn’t leave.

He had no intention of letting anyone walk out of there alive; his plan was to eliminate them all, by provoking them, he confirmed that the two mages from the other regions were just simple-minded brutes , and certainly the masterminds behind the attack on his kingdom wasn’t among them.

Looking at the smirk on Dave’s face and how his body trembled with excitement for the fight, Alec relegated him to nothing more than a top-tier brute with good combat skills. But when he looked at David, whose face was filled with worry, he knew he had found the true mastermind behind the assault on his domain.

This was the main man, the one he planned to kill first when the battle breaks out later. Alec believed that if given the chance, the man in the white attire with a touch of black would immediately flee when his life was in danger.

The moment he saw four mages he had been hell-bent on picking out the one who lead the group by out smarting the other that they didn’t really realise they listened to him that well as a leader, Alec had read their expressions, figured it out, and said,

“Bingo!” after seeing David’s facial expression.
