Alec has successfully upgraded his Infernal and Terra Sovereign Spirit Equipment Sets to Tier 6. The Infernal Set, now complete with a helm and boots, offers immense power and new abilities. After equipping the Infernal Set, Alec decides to visit Arthur's city alone, leaving the upgraded Terra Set for Brandon.

Legion initially kept the battle in Arthur’s city fully under control, with everything unfolding precisely as he had planned. However, the dynamics shifted instantly when the leading werewolf commander realized this direct head-on assault he was using with his set of werewolves was utterly impossible.

Unperturbed by this setback, the commander launched a second wave of five hundred warrior-class werewolves immediately after the tunneling squad was shot down by a different weapon upon reaching the fifty-meter mark to the city gates.

And unlike typical werewolves, these warrior class wolves possessed a devastating "Berserk" skill.

Even though this skill would leave them severely weakened once it wore off, the commander remained indifferent to the high casualty that it would face when they were done.

Breach and entry were his only priorities; he was completely certain that once they got past the city gates, victory would be theirs.

The five hundred warriors sprinted forward at speeds far exceeding the previous wave, first passing through the tunnel dug by their predecessors, the moment they emerged, they triggered their Berserker ability.

As a crimson haze clouded their vision, completely stripping away their reason as raw beast instincts took over, they began dashing forward on all fours, as they surged toward the city like wild animals.

Due to their erratic maneuvering and vastly superior speed, it became highly difficult for the Cybernetic Golems to snipe them after they crossed the fifty meter range. Recognizing this, the captain rank golems swiftly swapped their sniper rifles for assault rifles.

Although several shots found their mark, however; the crazed werewolves easily ignored the pain of their wounds, as they were driven by sheer frenzy, and the pack continued their relentless charge forward without slowing down, like they could barely feel the pain.

Soon, they began scaling the city walls. This ascent made them easier targets, allowing the Cybernetic Golems to gun them down and the Ironblade Vanguard to impale them with thrown spears from above, causing the werewolf numbers to dwindle again.

Despite suffering heavy casualties and sustaining critical injuries, the surviving werewolves achieved their objective and reached the top, upon reaching the summit of the gates, they threw themselves directly at the waiting Ironblade Vanguard and Ironblade Revenants warriors with unmatched ferocity.

While these two local military units defending Arthur’s town were formidable, they lacked the enhanced strength of the barbarian soldiers who had consumed pills to elevate their cultivation realms to the peak of the Mid ranks.

Clashing head-on with berserk werewolves—who were already Tier 6 powerhouses before and were now displaying peak physical strength due to their berserk state, winning in such tight space now practically seems like a suicide mission.

Through desperate teamwork, the defenders managed to strike down several of the attacking Were-beasts. Yet, even with their combined efforts, they could not emerge from the brutal melee unscathed.

Many among the defenders were severely injured while losing their teammates, leaving them unable to continue fighting against the werewolf onslaught instantly after one round, as their casualties continued to pile up, the remaining forces of the werewolf army capitalized on the opening to press forward with no one chanced to stop them again.

Unlike orcs, who relied on cumbersome siege weapons to breach city gates or scale walls, the werewolves possessed natural claws and an incredible physique that allowed them to climb the fortifications with ease by the time they reached the city gate.

Observing the progression of the battle, Legion became certain of one thing: they had lost the initial engagement not because they lacked decisiveness, but because the enemy leader possessed a ruthless disregard for his own subordinates, willingly sacrificing countless lives just to allow the rest of his army to scale the city walls.

Following that maneuver, Legion ordered his forces to retreat slowly. Fortuitously, Arthur returned at that exact moment. Taking in the battered state of his city walls being conquered, he immediately summoned his hero.

As a seven-foot-tall giant clad in heavy iron armor materialized, the moment he appeared, he swiftly took command of the seven hundred remaining warriors, relieving the Cybernetic Golem captains who had been struggling to protect and command them.

With his captains finally freed from their defensive duties, Legion decided to directly confront the commander of the werewolf legion, as he and his Cybernetic Golem Captains took to the skies and flew above the city gates all to the end of the werewolf army where the commander stayed to give out his commands.

The commander was a powerful Tier 8 lifeform. While Legion was confident he could win, doing so alone would take far too much time, a luxury he did not have.

However, with his captain-rank summons fighting alongside him, he believed he could end the battle quickly and easily.

The newly arrived Ironblade Knight Commander organized the remnants of his forces into a formation designed to butcher the werewolves and drive them back from the newly erected shield barricade they created,

Legion on the other hand realised that he had clearly underestimated the power of a coordinated pack attacking in unison, as he saw a group of lieutenant-level werewolves continued to shield the Tier 8 werewolf commander.

These lieutenants served as the core inner circle of the commander, they were all in the Tier 7 realm, and ranked immediately below him in the hierarchy.

Each of them belonged to a distinct werewolf class; among them stood a guardian class whose massive frame completely dwarfed the werewolves they had encountered so far, and it was grey-furred.

Simply by observing its dense hide, Legion and his captain-rank golems were certain that it would take an immense amount of concentrated damage to breach its defenses.

Another lieutenant was a much more slender specimen belonging to the hunger class, a female werewolf, while a third werewolf stationed further behind them appeared to be a heavily upgraded variant of the warrior class.

These three specialized Tier 7 werewolves, standing defiantly before their still-untransformed commander, seemed to share a powerful synergy that magnified their collective strength.

With the introduction of these three elite Tier 7 entities into the fray, Legion could tell that the battlefield had been leveled, effectively neutralizing the tactical advantage he had sought to gain.

Behind them, the Ironblade army, spearheaded by Arthur and the Ironblade Knight Commander, relentlessly slaughtered the werewolves, though they suffered a few casualties of their own in the process.

Undeterred, they pressed on without any intention of backing down, leaving Legion with no choice but to plunge into the fray of leader werewolves with a singular focus on securing victory.

“Attack,” Legion commanded. Immediately, his Cybernetic Golem Captains, who had already summoned their laser weapons, dashed forward into battle, when facing such formidable adversaries, the golems relied on their lasers as their primary offensive armament, while relegating their firearms to a secondary role.
