After absorbing the final power core, Takeda achieved Tier 8 power, unstable but enough to match Alec. Takeda revealed his full spirit equipment set, stabilizing his aura. He then attacked Alec with incredible speed, overwhelming him and slamming him into the ground. Takeda unleashed elemental attacks against Alec's golems, but his blizzard was split by an unseen force. Butcher attacked Takeda from behind, shocking him with lightning, only to be struck back by Takeda's Stone Fist.

Even though he reacted swiftly to dodge being hit while still numb, a state that left him extremely vulnerable, he was still a fraction slower than usual. After all, it was the adrenaline rush that propelled him to shove Butcher away, as he desperately wished for the paralysis to end sooner.

As Legion advanced, he hadn't finished constructing his new armament. With Takeda's body still partially immobilized, Legion saw this opening as a chance to forge something truly worthy of the opportunity Butcher had fought to provide.

Instead of charging in recklessly, he began assembling a missile-type weapon, meticulously designed for colossal damage within an incredibly brief timeframe. The armament he envisioned and brought into being was named the Storm Rack.

The instant its creation was finalized, Legion lifted it to his shoulder. It was elongated and rectangular, its forefront adorned with numerous missile heads, and a grip positioned centrally for optimal stability.

Witnessing Legion prepare such a devastating assault, Takeda strained to regain full bodily control. He had already observed the potent effects of the peculiar weapons Legion habitually employed.

However, he quickly understood that a few more crucial seconds would pass before he could move unimpeded. Legion, naturally, would not delay his attack until Takeda was in an advantageous position. He immediately pulled the trigger once he achieved a more favorable stance.

Shiiill!!!

A sharp, piercing whistle pierced the air as the missiles unleashed in rapid succession. The weapon's recoil was so overwhelmingly potent that it propelled Legion backward mid-air, even causing him to spin.

Observing this spectacle, many spectators pondered how the projectiles could possibly strike their target with such erratic firing. Yet, their doubts were fleeting.

As they watched, the missiles altered their trajectory mid-flight – tracking, almost as if magnetically drawn to Takeda. With no barriers or obstructions impeding their path, they unerringly homed in on him.

Bang!!

By the time the initial missile reached him, Takeda had finally recovered sufficient control over his body. Nevertheless, it was too late for an effective countermeasure. All he could manage was to raise his arms in an X-shaped guard before him – and steel himself for the ensuing impact.

One by one, the remaining seven missiles found their mark, slamming into Takeda. Each impact amplified the previous one, the explosions coalescing into a colossal sphere of fire that intensified with every subsequent hit.

The very atmosphere seemed to vibrate; the force of the detonations rippled outwards, unsettling everything. Even the spectators far beyond the arena felt the tremors, leaving many awestruck by the sheer destructive power unleashed.

Then – a body plummeted from the sky with astonishing velocity.

Bang!

Before it could impact the ground – a crimson blur shot upwards to meet it. That blur, coincidentally, was Alec. The moment the Storm Rack's impact forced Takeda downwards, Alec had already concentrated Flaming aura power into his right fist, which was encased in the stone fist spell, and launched himself skyward.

He then delivered a precise punch, landing squarely on Takeda's jaw. For a fleeting instant, all seemed to decelerate, as the captivated crowd witnessed time itself stretch, the impact unfolding in near-slow motion.

Then – reality snapped back. As Alec twisted in mid-air, he drove a powerful kick into Takeda's abdomen, sending him hurtling in a completely different trajectory.

Boom!!

The sounds of crumbling structures echoed sequentially.

One edifice – then another – By the fourth, Takeda finally regained his faculties, hardening his physique and arresting his descent mid-air mere inches from colliding with a fifth, already precarious structure.

Dust enveloped him completely, but with a mere flick of his fingers, a stream of water cascaded over his form, instantly clearing the debris—

—and a gust of wind followed, drying him thoroughly and restoring his composure.

"That was unexpected. I didn't foresee you resisting. I assumed, like most mages, that upon witnessing someone two realms above you, you would yield and accept defeat honorably. But you simply had to defy me," Takeda remarked.

His tone only deepened Alec's frown. Even now, Takeda maintained that same nonchalant arrogance.

"Well, since you are so determined to resist, I shall simply have to crush you, and those golems you seem so proud of."

"Who in the blazes do you think you are?" This time, before Alec could utter a word, his golems spoke first in indignation, as they detested anyone who belittled their master.

Titan stepped forward, his mace resting atop his shoulder.

"We have faced and overcome Tier 8 lifeforms before. So what if you possess slightly greater strength? It changes nothing regarding the fact that we are about to send you to an untimely demise," Legion declared as he hovered in the air, his weapon retracting into its compact nano cube form.

Although only the two of them explicitly stated it, Takeda could already sense that the other golems had taken positions surrounding him, and their arrangement wasn't merely coincidental.

Alec commenced his advance, this time adorned in a complete set of spirit equipment. While perhaps not as potent as his own, this particular set of armor seemed to possess a peculiar synergistic power, intrinsically linked to Alec.

"Face us. This battle is only now beginning to escalate towards its peak," Alec declared, extending his hand downwards. Blood surged forth from his arm, instantly morphing into a blade.

It solidified into a substance akin to crimson crystal, its edges wickedly gleaming with a dangerous, razor-sharp luminescence.

"Excellent. I have long desired to extinguish your life in the most horrific manner possible. Your eyes... those are the very first things I shall claim. I simply cannot abide the way you gaze at me..."

Before Takeda's pronouncement had even fully faded, he moved. With a sharp, decisive spin, his left hand simultaneously reached for the formidable axe positioned upon his back.

By the culmination of this rapid motion, the weapon was already completely ablaze, and with a mighty swing, he directed it towards Butcher.
