Rayson desperately pleaded with Bradley not to kill him in order to recruit Lucas, emphasizing his loyalty and assets surrendered. Bradley dismissed the concerns and offered the entire Williams family to Lucas as a reward for submission, leaving Rayson stunned. Lucas rejected the offer and demanded twelve billion dollars from Rayson with doubled interest for the delay. Furious, Bradley ordered Merkin to break Lucas's limbs as Merkin launched a deadly strike.

Merkin struck with brutal ferocity, thrusting his iron-hard arm straight at Lucas’s neck, his five fingers blazing with fierce murderous intent.

Thank you readers!

Lucas stayed seated on the sofa. As Merkin’s fingers neared him, he held his position without rising to defend. He appeared utterly surprised by Merkin, unable to respond in time.

Merkin sneered with utter disdain for Lucas.

This man couldn’t even dodge a sudden assault—what a false reputation! He was nothing impressive!

Mr. Bradley actually valued this guy so much, willingly throwing over thirty billion dollars of the Williams family’s wealth to win him over. How absurd!

Yet in the very next instant, a shocking twist unfolded!

Right when Merkin’s fingers were set to grasp Lucas’s throat, the seemingly frozen Lucas on the sofa vanished abruptly, leaving behind just a faint afterimage.

“What?!” Merkin exclaimed in shock. He whipped his head around searching for Lucas, only for a tremendous force to crash violently into his back!

Bang!

Caught completely unaware, Merkin slammed into the floor. A deep human-shaped crater formed instantly in the sturdy wooden living room floor, with splinters shattering everywhere.

Merkin coughed up a massive gush of blood and writhed on the ground, yet he couldn’t rise!

Agonizing pain wracked Merkin’s back and chest, and sensation fled from his limbs entirely. Endless terror seized his normally composed face!

His limbs had gone completely numb. Had… Lucas’s strike shattered his spine?

The spine stood as a vital core of the body. Damage there often severed nerves, leaving victims paralyzed forever. Had he been disabled?!

Merkin refused to accept it, but despite his desperate struggles, nothing registered in his body except his head!

Nearby, Bradley’s face drained of color in horror. He leaped up from the sofa, staring incredulously at the scene before him.

How… how could this be?

He had braced for Merkin, his top expert, to crush Lucas in one blow. He’d even planned to eliminate Lucas if he refused to yield later.

But Lucas moved like a specter. One second he lounged across the sofa; the next, he materialized behind Merkin, driving an elbow with crushing force into his back, flooring him and leaving him immobile!

Could martial prowess this extreme truly belong to a mortal?

Bradley’s heart thundered wildly now. His throat parched, lips quivering, he couldn’t squeeze out a word.

Rayson had anticipated Merkin dismantling Lucas, but instead witnessed Merkin crippled by a single Lucas strike!

Rayson’s knees buckled; he crumpled to the floor, gazing at Lucas in abject terror.

“You just said that you wanted me to submit to you, or you would make me die here?” Lucas murmured coldly, striding slowly toward Bradley. He swung his hand and delivered a sharp slap across Bradley’s cheek.

Smack!

The forceful slap sent Bradley reeling, nearly tumbling down. Numbness spread across his face, blanking his mind.

For over thirty years of life, this marked the first time a younger man from a lesser background had slapped him!

“How… how dare you hit me?” Bradley clutched his face, eyes wide in disbelief.

“Heh, why can’t I hit you? Who do you think you are to demand my submission? Are you even qualified to threaten me?” Lucas scoffed, lifting his hand for another thunderous slap.

Smack!

“Ahhh! You bastard, how dare you humiliate me? I must kill you!”

These two slaps obliterated Bradley’s reason. Fury consumed him as he lunged wildly at Lucas for revenge.

Regrettably, Bradley brimmed only with rage, lacking any real ability. Lucas easily seized his hair, yanked him close, and smashed his head onto the icy coffee table.

“You want to attack me? A useless trash like you?” Lucas taunted without mercy.

“Ahhhhhh! You bastard! Let go of me! If you dare to harm me, the Hills will never let you off!”

Lucas smashed Bradley's striking face onto the coffee table, twisting it out of shape. Bradley thrashed desperately while bellowing threats, “If you dare to harm me, even if the Hills have to chase you to the ends of the earth, we will definitely hunt you down until you die! And don’t even think about escaping from your family and money! This is the price you have to pay for touching me. Do you hear me?!”

Lucas might have overlooked it if Bradley hadn't issued that threat. But the instant those words escaped his lips, Lucas's face grew dark and foreboding.

Endangering his family remained his ultimate forbidden line, past and present. He absolutely forbade anyone from putting his loved ones at risk!

A subtle squeeze from Lucas's grip caused Bradley's facial bones to crackle loudly, trapped between his hand and the hard table surface. Searing agony overwhelmed Bradley, ripping a bloodcurdling howl from his throat.

“Ahhhh! Stop… Please… Let me go…!”

Rayson, already collapsed in terror on the ground, shook uncontrollably at that agonized cry. Heat bloomed in his groin, and a hot rush poured out, staining the floor beneath him.

Pure fright had triggered his loss of bladder control!

Lucas fixed Bradley with a piercing stare for what felt like ages before abruptly declaring, “You’re right. If I kill you, it will indeed bring me a lot of trouble. A bunch of bugs will rush out one after another and disturb my life.”

Bradley sensed Lucas held back from killing him and quickly pleaded, “That’s right! Lucas Gray, quickly let me go! Otherwise, the Hills will definitely hunt you down to the death. You will definitely not have any peaceful days in the future! If you let me go, I will spare your life and pretend that nothing happened today!”

Deep remorse flooded Bradley.

Rayson's frantic plea for aid hadn't worried him at the time. He dismissed the idea that someone under thirty could pose a real danger, so he arrived with just his trusted bodyguard Merkin and no additional muscle.

Even after Rayson warned him of Lucas's exceptional martial arts skills, Bradley brushed it aside. He figured the Williams were just spineless failures, incapable of handling a mere twenty-something punk.

Bradley had no clue Lucas was such a monster. Merkin failed to even brush Lucas's clothing before getting flattened. Now Merkin lay prone and immobile, totally stripped of any fighting capacity.

Knowing Lucas's true might beforehand, Bradley never would have acted so arrogantly. He would have rounded up more elite fighters to take him down!

Regret came far too late now. His sole chance rested on the Hill family's fearsome reputation forcing Lucas to back off.

Yet once he escaped unharmed, Bradley swore he wouldn't spare Lucas. He must die!
