Guan Qingyue confesses to poisoning the well water out of jealousy and anger, but claims she didn't intend to kill. When Yang Ruxin reveals the poison worked and Gu Cheng falls ill, Guan Qingyue is horrified. Yang Ruxin explains the antidote requires the poisoner's blood, prompting Guan Qingyue to donate her own. She tearfully admits her mistake and the others confront her actions, but she feigns ignorance about who supplied the poison, describing only a masked, powerful woman.

As the night grows late, a subtle blue radiance unexpectedly splits the heavens, erupting above Xiaocang Mountain. Nonetheless, its hue closely resembles the dark azure of the night sky and it produces no sound, rendering it difficult to perceive unless one is outdoors or engaged in stargazing.

Shortly thereafter, a dark silhouette descends from the mountain, pausing at a considerable distance from the modest structure rather than approaching it directly, its gaze fixed upon the two-story building.

Faintly, sounds of agony emanate from within the building, and an attempt is even made by someone to force the door open and exit, only to collapse as they descend the stairs.

The corner of the masked individual's mouth lifts slightly; Guan Qingyue proved to be quite effective. Perhaps this outcome stems from an unprepared state.

After observing for a period to confirm the absence of any deception, the figure then proceeds down the incline.

Standing outside the courtyard gate, a subtle aroma of blood can be detected wafting from the yard.

At the entryway, the figure nudges the fallen individual by the door with their foot; it is the gatekeeper, lip bleeding, already devoid of life. Proceeding further inside, two bodies lie in the outer courtyard. Upon entering the second gate, several maidservants are found sprawled in the yard. In the main hall, a few more individuals are down, yet there is no trace of Yang Ruxin or any members of the Yang Family. A sense of unease prompts a swift leap into the yard.

"Are you searching for me?" From the second-floor balcony, Yang Ruxin steadies herself against the railing, addressing Diewu in the courtyard below.

"You... you are not poisoned?" Diewu immediately feels a sense of bewilderment.

"Diewu, are you truly that gullible?" Yang Ruxin scoffs, "I am the disciple of the renowned Divine Doctor, known as the Little Divine Doctor. I also trained under Tang Wanqian, the former Sect Leader of the Tang Sect. My greatest immunity lies against poison, and still, you dispatched someone to inflict it upon me?"

Upon grasping the situation, Guan Qingyue experiences dismay; even if she had not intervened, Yang Ruxin would likely not have succumbed to poisoning, correct?

Diewu also registers a feeling of intense frustration. How could this woman be so incredibly cunning? However, having now advanced the Soul Devouring Technique to its third level, it is sufficient to end her life. Yet, before any action can be taken, piercing murderous intent erupts from all directions, momentarily halting Diewu's advance towards Yang Ruxin and compelling her to confront these newfound adversaries first.

"Diewu, this day marks your demise." Gu Yao initiates the assault, advancing with Shangguan Fei and their contingent, unfurling a substantial net.

Diewu perceives the imminent danger and swiftly evades to the side. Her augmented inner strength and enhanced Qinggong allow her to narrowly escape the ensnaring net, landing precariously on the edge of the wall.

The group recalibrates their trajectory and advances once more.

Diewu finds herself with no alternative but to leap beyond the confines of the courtyard.

The pursuing group exits the courtyard as well, but with the increased open space, the net's effectiveness diminishes, prompting them to discard it and draw their weapons, initiating a fierce exchange of blows.

In the adjacent structure, Dong Wenxiu and her companions, unable to engage in combat, refrain from even loud breathing, gripped by profound anxiety.

Naturally, there are those inclined to burst forth, such as Sanni, but they are restrained by Zhou Xiao. A charge into the fray would spell certain death for this young lady; fortunately, Sanni readily retreats, aware of her own limitations – she is only capable of dealing with individuals like Yang Baihe. When it comes to genuine combat, she is entirely outmatched.

Yang Ruxin exhales in relief; she had harbored concerns that the conflict might erupt within the yard, leading to its destruction, and the subsequent repairs would incur significant expense.

Despite Diewu's enhanced inner strength, the martial artists of the Wulin, converging upon her alone, would struggle to secure her demise. However, Gu Yao and the others represent the pinnacle of expertise, and even with numerous masters laying siege, the encounter proves somewhat taxing.
