"For you to show up at my doorstep so late at night, claiming my well water is undrinkable, doesn't that strike you as rather peculiar?" Yang Ruxin's voice remained calm. "This well was only recently dug, and the water is exceptionally sweet. You must have a reason for this accusation."

Guan Qingyue closed her eyes momentarily, then replied, "Because the well water has been poisoned."

Yang Ruxin couldn't help but chuckle. "We already drank it." As she spoke, her gaze flickered towards Gu Cheng, who stood by the doorway.
