Yang Ruxin takes her companions, Yang Miao and Chun Feng, for a stroll as spring arrives. Yang Miao makes flower wreaths, and Yang Ruxin playfully discusses marriage prospects with her and Chun Feng, who both express reluctance. Their peaceful walk is interrupted when two boorish men approach them with lecherous intentions, angering Yang Miao.

"Oh, a feisty one, are we?" The two men guffawed, "No problem, brother likes... ah..." The hand reaching out to playfully touch her chin became stuck, and the teasing turned into a yelp of pain.

Yang Miao had acquired some martial arts training from her academy instructor. While not a master capable of traversing rooftops, she could certainly handle a couple of ruffians. At that moment, her slender hand twisted the man's palm to a ninety-degree angle, her expression stern: "Likes what?"

"You damned girl..." The other man lunged forward, only to be met with a kick to the stomach from Chun Feng, leaving him doubled over, clutching his abdomen with a groan.

"Serves you right, you filthy scoundrel." Chun Feng followed up, using the willow branch she held to whip him. She detested men of this ilk, who preyed on women, and their presence incited a desire to pummel them senseless.

"Auntie, we won't dare again..." The two men began to beg for mercy.

"What's happening here?" Yang Ruxin and the others had already arrived.

Yang Miao quickly recounted the preceding events.

Chun Feng, however, showed no signs of stopping, continuing to beat the man until he was thoroughly battered.

"We swear we won't dare again, our eyes were blinded by dog droppings, please show mercy, heroines, never again!" By this point, any hint of lechery had vanished from the men's eyes, their pleas echoing with a heart-wrenching discord.

Yang Ruxin frowned and gestured to Yang Miao and Chun Feng.

Yang Miao finally released her grip, but not before delivering one last kick that sent the man sprawling to the ground, struggling to regain his breath.

Yet, Chun Feng continued her assault: "You beasts, I'll beat you..."

Yang Miao and Chun Hua quickly intervened to separate them.

Chun Feng seemed to snap back to reality: "Madam, I lost control just now."

"It's alright." Feng Zilan gently patted her shoulder, her heart aching with empathy, understanding the hardships the girl had likely endured.

Yang Ruxin then turned her attention to the two men: "Where are you from?"

"We... we're from the town... ouch..."

"And what business do you have in our village?"

"Visiting relatives."

"Whose relatives?"

"We are..." The two men exchanged a quick glance, "We're relatives of the Ma family."

"The Ma family?" Yang Ruxin's brow lifted slightly, "Which Ma family specifically?"

"It's Ma Gouzi's family, we're his cousins."

Yang Ruxin nodded thoughtfully, "Originally, as fellow townspeople, this might not have escalated, but you two harassed my sisters, tarnishing their reputations. Therefore, today, we must escort you to the authorities." Her tone was as placid as if discussing a simple meal.

"We were wrong just now." Upon hearing this, the men's faces drained of color, and they began striking their own cheeks, "We had a bit too much to drink, our minds were muddled, madam, please let us go like a passing fart..."

Yang Ruxin regarded them silently.

"Xinxin, there's no need to harbor ill feelings towards such individuals." Feng Ruolan, concerned Yang Ruxin might remain angry, added, "It's not worth the trouble."

Dong Wenxiu nodded in agreement, carefully shielding Yang Ruxin's belly.

"Mother is correct." Yang Ruxin offered a slight smile and a nod, "Since you understand your wrongdoing, we shall let this matter rest."

The two men hastily offered their profuse thanks and fled the scene.

However, Yang Ruxin cast a subtly meaningful glance at Chun Hua; though Chun Hua's martial prowess was modest, her long association with Yang Ruxin had honed her intuition, enabling her to grasp the unspoken instruction. She turned to discreetly find someone to keep watch over the departing men.
