Mo Bei, disguised as her brother, tried to leave a crowded event but accidentally bumped into the famous eSports player, Almighty K. They fell into an awkward embrace, and Mo Bei was struck by his proximity and the man's cold aura. She recognized him as the legendary player she admired.

The top jungler and most renowned player on the national server.

His countenance resembled that of a popular superstar, attracting numerous investors eager to sign him for commercials.

However, he was exceptionally almighty. His family background was so deeply concealed that certain media outlets hesitated to report carelessly about him.

Naturally, he was unaware of her existence.

As people came and went, Mo Bei remained unmoving.

Wang Dongdong pressed a hand against his forehead. Doomed… Both he and Unpopular were facing doom!

He began to harbor strong suspicions. Had Unpopular deceived him? Perhaps he had known that Almighty K would be present today, which was why he chose to return now!

The more he mulled over it, the more plausible the scenario seemed!

Wang Dongdong felt an urge to weep!

After all, people were not blind. Even with his hair dyed, that face was still recognizable.

As anticipated, upon glimpsing Mo Bei’s features, the assistant from the other party erupted immediately. “You, you, you… It’s you again! You truly never change! The last time you snuck into the backstage area, and now you’re posing as a fan! How many times have I warned you to stay away from our Almighty K? Don’t you understand?”

He genuinely hadn't imagined a man could be so terrifying when exhibiting stalker tendencies!

Mo Nan was notorious within the scene for his tendency to leverage others for attention.

The previous incident had already caused distress; how dare he appear again!

Mo Bei, on the other hand, furrowed her brow. “Posing as a fan?”

“Damn it, you’re still attempting to deny it! Look at what you’re holding in your hands!” The assistant was losing his composure. The young master detested these individuals the most.

Mo Bei lowered her gaze, following the assistant’s line of sight. The poster was still atop her luggage. This… was indeed a perfect storm of misunderstanding. “I can explain.”

“I have no desire to hear it.” The man spoke, his gaze as languid as an unrisen thread of morning mist. Despite the mask, the impatience in his voice was unmistakable. Perhaps due to having a cold, his emotions were not fully restrained, lending a slight harshness to his tone. “Let go and get lost.”

Get lost?

Upon hearing this word, Mo Bei turned her head slightly to the side. Her lips curved into a smile, very, very slowly. She then raised her hand, and the poster sailed in a straight trajectory into a nearby black bin.

Crisp and decisive!

She immediately slipped her hands into her pockets, casually tilting her head sideways. “Indeed, there is no need to hear it. After all, I merely retrieved a piece of trash to dispose of.”

Two gazes locked.

The resulting aura from this confrontation was remarkably evenly matched.

Instantly, both the opposing assistant and Wang Dongdong’s mouths fell open, their eyes widening in shock.

What… What had they just witnessed?

This individual (Unpopular) had actually discarded Almighty K’s poster into a trash receptacle?

Coupled with his parting words, it was as if he had detonated a grenade.

Nevertheless, the person in question carried on as if nothing extraordinary had occurred. Placing a hand on her luggage, she casually stated, “Dongdong, let’s go.”

“Oh, oh, yes!” Wang Dongdong followed like a bewildered spirit, an inexplicable sense that reality had shifted around him.

Meanwhile, the other assistant was incandescent with rage. “Who does this person think he is? He was so eager to pester the young master earlier…”

“Enough.” The man’s voice, nasal and still somewhat deep, was now calm. He strode forward with an upright posture, his legs as slender as a walking rack. Even this boisterous environment could not entirely suppress his inherent radiance.

As the elevator doors slid shut, he uttered no further words. He simply glanced upwards, his eyes as profound as the night sky, in the direction Mo Bei had departed, a slight lift to his brows indicating his thoughts…

The assistant understood that Almighty K was displeased.

Consequently, he refrained from uttering any further remarks.

Mo Nan’s strategies were growing increasingly sophisticated. What precisely was the objective of his earlier maneuver? Was he employing a tactic of playing hard to get?
