The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2637: Create an opening
Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Fusing the bodies he had forged across multiple universes had always been one of Cain’s greatest goals.
After all, each of those bodies possessed unique powers and advantages that perfectly complemented one another. The body he forged in the Crimson World carried unparalleled offensive might and physical strength. His Primordial Body in the Empyrean Universe had been tempered through countless battles and focused almost entirely on resilience and endurance. Meanwhile, the body he cultivated in Paradise excelled in speed, agility, and explosive movement.
Each represented a different aspect of perfection.
Each had been refined through entirely different Paths of Power.
If they could be united into a single vessel, the result would be extraordinary.
A profound light appeared in Cain’s eyes.
"If I manage to fuse all three of my bodies, I will not only gain an overwhelming increase in power, but there is a very real possibility that I could transcend my current limitations and evolve into the Fourth Realm."
The thought alone sent excitement surging through his heart.
The Fourth Realm.
The boundary that separated true universe-shaking powers from the rest of existence.
If he succeeded in crossing that threshold, Cain was fully confident that he would be able to defeat Nito, even if the Curse Eater continued drawing upon the power of the Samsara Lord.
More importantly, it would dramatically increase his chances when the time came to face the true leader of the Tenth Empyrean World.
That battle was inevitable.
And unlike Nito, the being standing behind the invasion was an enemy capable of killing Anark.
A monster who had defeated someone who had already stepped into the Fourth Realm.
Cain could not afford to underestimate such an opponent.
Yet raw power was not the only reward awaiting him.
A deeper possibility existed.
A possibility that could completely alter the balance of the war.
"If I transcend into the Fourth Realm, my control over the laws of the universe will increase enormously. It might even be enough to undo whatever the agents of the Root did to place the Universe Will into slumber."
The moment that thought emerged, the light in Cain’s eyes intensified.
The sleeping Universe Will was a massive blow to the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.
Without its protection, countless invaders had entered freely.
But if Cain could awaken it...
Everything would change.
Every foreign entity within the universe would immediately become a target of the cosmic laws.
Tribulations would descend relentlessly.
Lightning.
Karmic punishment.
Cosmic judgment.
The universe itself would wage war against the invaders.
Cain had already experienced a fragment of that power firsthand when the Curse Eaters cursed him.
The tribulations generated by the Universe Will had been so terrifying that even powerful Alpha Omega Overgods would struggle to survive them.
Anyone below the Limit of the Third Realm would simply perish.
Awakening the Universe Will would not guarantee victory, but it would tilt the battlefield heavily in favor of the Alliance.
Unfortunately, accomplishing such a feat was incredibly complicated.
The fusion of his bodies remained the greatest obstacle.
Cain knew it was possible to move physical matter through the Endless River of the Flow.
His brother had done it.
Noah had not only crossed the Endless River with his body intact but had even managed to transport another person alongside him.
That achievement alone was proof that it could be done.
The problem was that Cain had not yet mastered the technique.
A solemn expression appeared on his face as he analyzed the problem once more.
The movement of physical matter through the Endless River was fundamentally different from transporting one’s Primordial Essence.
The golden currents constantly sought to dissolve and assimilate anything that entered them.
Maintaining stability required absolute control.
"It is not a matter of power," Cain muttered.
"It is a matter of precision."
He did not underestimate himself.
After becoming one with the Endless River, learning to move his Primordial Essence across universes, and merging the powers of Chaos and the Flow, his mastery had improved tremendously.
In fact, he believed his understanding of the Flow had reached a level comparable to Noah’s.
However, Noah possessed the Red King Eyes.
Those eyes granted an unparalleled level of control over the Flow.
A level of precision that Cain simply could not replicate within a short period of time.
Still, that did not stop him from trying.
Sitting cross-legged above the Ouroboros Stronghold, Cain closed his eyes and began running countless simulations.
The [A.I. Chip Module] activated at full capacity.
Scenarios appeared and vanished.
Possibilities were created and discarded.
Thousands of calculations unfolded every second.
Hours passed.
Eventually, after recovering part of his strength and refining a potential method, Cain slowly opened his eyes.
Golden light erupted from his pupils.
His Crimson Bloodline ignited.
Then, without hesitation, he took the first step.
Instead of merging only his Primordial Essence with the Endless River, Cain merged his entire physical body into it.
His flesh.
His blood.
His bones.
Everything.
Instantly, his presence vanished.
Not even the strongest Curse Eater would have been able to sense him.
Locating him in that state would require perception approaching the Fourth Realm.
Yet the disappearance lasted only a few moments.
Golden cracks spread across space.
The Scarlet King reappeared.
His face was pale.
Sweat covered his body.
His breathing was uneven.
Despite only a few seconds passing in the outside world, the effort had consumed an enormous amount of energy.
After regulating his breathing, Cain’s expression grew increasingly solemn.
The enlightenment in his eyes gradually reached its peak.
Eventually, he arrived at a conclusion.
"Moving against the natural current of the Endless River while preserving the stability of my physical body is impossible with my current abilities."
Those words were disappointing.
Yet they did not truly surprise him.
After all, even moving his Primordial Essence against the natural flow of the Endless River required tremendous concentration and power.
Attempting to do the same with a physical body was simply beyond him at the moment.
Which meant one thing.
"Bringing my Royal Blutlinie body from Paradise into the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe is impossible."
For a moment, silence followed.
Then a smile slowly appeared on Cain’s face.
Because while one path was closed...
Another remained open.
"However..."
The smile widened.
"If I stop fighting the current and simply allow the Endless River to carry me along its natural flow, then transporting a physical body from the Crimson World into the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe may actually be possible."
Excitement surged through him.
The possibilities were immense.
Although the body he had left in the Crimson World was not as powerful as the one in Paradise, the difference was not significant.
More importantly, its potential was extraordinary.
The hybrid body born from the fusion of Neo-Demon and Neo-Angel possessed a level of talent comparable to the Apex Races themselves.
If he succeeded in merging it with his Primordial Body, the resulting transformation would be unimaginable.
Unfortunately, complications still remained.
To execute this plan, Cain would need to transfer his True Name and Ego back into the Crimson World.
Once there, he would have to refine the hybrid body’s mastery over the Flow.
Only after accomplishing that could he use the Endless River to guide the body back toward the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.
The process would take time.
How much time?
Cain had no idea.
But he was certain of one thing.
It would be far longer than a single day.
And that realization immediately darkened his expression.
A single day.
That was all it might take for Nito to launch another offensive.
A single day could be enough for the Curse Eaters to destroy everything the Alliance had fought to achieve.
A single day could lead to the fall of another Empyrean World.
The Scarlet King slowly rose to his feet.
His gaze drifted across the Fallen Empyrean World, dominated by the Curse Eaters.
A dangerous light appeared in his eyes as a new question arose in his mind.
"In order to succeed, I will need to create an opening," Cain muttered. "I must strike with such overwhelming power and ferocity that Nito and the rest of the Curse Eaters have no choice but to enter deep seclusion to recover from their injuries."
A brutal aura filled with killing intent erupted around the Scarlet King as he spoke those words.
It would not be an easy task.
Nito’s Samsara Eye was simply too formidable. Cain had witnessed it reconstruct a shattered heart and restore a petrified body within seconds. Any ordinary wound, no matter how severe, would be healed before it could become a decisive advantage.
That meant the attack he prepared had to reach far deeper.
It had to wound Nito’s Primordial Essence.
Only an injury carved into the foundation of the Curse Eater’s existence could force him into prolonged recovery and remove him from the battlefield for an extended period of time.
Cain’s expression grew solemn as he began analyzing countless possibilities.
Then, as his mind searched for a solution, his consciousness drifted into the depths of his Lucid Dream.
More specifically, toward the Coffin of Life and Death.
