The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2626: Cain’s new weapon (II)
Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
However, no matter how excited he felt, Cain did not lose focus. He understood better than anyone just how challenging his goal truly was. Chimera Wills were supposed to possess a single core upon which all other Will Beasts would fuse, yet he intended to shatter that paradigm entirely by forging one with two cores. That alone made the task unimaginably difficult.
Even worse, the two cores he planned to use belonged to some of the most powerful and malevolent enemies he had ever faced in his life—entities whose sole purpose had been destruction, beings that had hated him more than anyone else in the universe.
Taking a deep breath, Cain adopted a meditative position high in the skies of the Scarlet Throne, far away from the countless warriors training below. His expression became solemn as his mind sharpened further and further. He concentrated the full power of his willpower while activating every capability of the [A.I. Chip Module], analyzing every possible movement and outcome so he could predict future complications before they appeared.
Cain remained in that state for six entire hours.
When he finally opened his eyes once more, they radiated a blinding brilliance that illuminated the entire Scarlet Realm. The power within them was so sharp that it seemed capable of sundering reality itself.
Harnessing every ounce of that might, Cain slowly raised both hands—one aimed toward the towering spire born from Legion, the other toward the monstrous mountain forged from Robuke.
Immediately, the colossal structures began to tremble.
The landmass beneath them cracked apart as earthquakes spread across the Scarlet Throne. Massive fissures opened in every direction while the two structures slowly detached themselves from the ground. Fortunately, the Scarlet Throne was stable enough to suppress the destruction before it could spread too far.
Cain ignored the tremors entirely.
His full concentration remained fixed on the spire and mountain as they twisted and distorted violently. Their forms shifted over and over until, at last, they transformed into two gargantuan and monstrous Will Beasts.
The spire took the shape of a humanoid eldritch god. Its skeletal body possessed ash-gray skin stretched tightly over countless bones. Multiple arms extended from its torso, each ending in claws capable of tearing apart dimensions. Its face lacked eyes, ears, or even a nose. Only a gigantic mouth remained, constantly screaming in endless agony.
As for the mountain, it transformed into a brutal draconic fiend. The creature possessed no flesh whatsoever. Exposed muscles pulsed openly across its enormous body while black blood flowed endlessly between them. Its wings were so massive they looked capable of carrying entire worlds upon them, and every breath released a corrosive crimson mist.
Their appearances resembled the souls of the beings from which they had been born, but far more savage and chaotic—a clear sign of the maddening influence the Scarlet Throne had exerted over their essences.
The instant the two creatures manifested, their eyes locked onto Cain.
Then the madness within them exploded.
Rage, hatred, fury, and destruction erupted from their bodies like apocalyptic storms. Though their minds had long since descended into insanity, fragments of instinct still remained buried deep within their Primordial Essences. Those instincts remembered exactly who Cain was.
The man who had destroyed them.
The man who had ruined their futures.
The man who had condemned them to a fate worse than death.
Without wasting a second, both Will Beasts lunged toward the Scarlet King. The power radiating from either one alone was enough to kill weaker Late Alpha Omega Overgods instantly.
Yet just before their claws could reach him—
Chains materialized out of nowhere.
Countless scarlet chains wrapped around the monstrous creatures, piercing through their limbs and torsos before locking them completely in place.
The two beasts roared furiously as they struggled with everything they had, but the chains did not budge even slightly.
"Hmph."
Cain sneered coldly as he glanced at them.
Restoring their individuality did not mean they were free. They remained part of the Scarlet Throne itself, and if Cain wished, he could erase them with a single thought.
Of course, he had no intention of doing that.
Despite their maddened hatred, Cain was extremely pleased with the immense power radiating from the pair. The pressure they emitted alone caused space throughout the Scarlet Throne to distort continuously.
Nodding to himself, Cain moved on to the next phase.
Unlike the others, he did not possess a Scarlet Star capable of containing a Chimera Will of this magnitude. Even if he did, it would never withstand the monstrous force generated by these two entities.
Fortunately, he possessed something far greater.
The Lucid Dream.
The realm that embodied his Ego Eternal Path of Power.
Since the Lucid Dream and his Alter Ego were essentially two sides of the same coin, Cain could use that mental dimension as the perfect vessel for the Chimera Will born from the Scarlet Throne.
After ensuring that the Coffin of Life and Death rested safely within an isolated corner of the realm, Cain focused on the two Will Beasts and sent them directly into his mind.
The moment they entered the Lucid Dream, an overwhelming pressure assaulted Cain’s soul.
The force was so immense that even his consciousness trembled slightly.
Yet only for an instant.
A small smile appeared on Cain’s face as he quickly regained complete control.
He could still dominate the two creatures absolutely.
Without hesitation, he continued the process and began fusing the two Will Beasts together in order to forge his own Chimera Will.
The creatures immediately realized what was happening.
Their roars shook the entire Lucid Dream as they lashed out wildly, trying to resist the fusion. Massive psychic storms erupted across the mental dimension, tearing apart landscapes and generating tidal waves of destructive thought force.
Yet Cain remained unmoved.
His willpower suppressed every disturbance while he continued the fusion relentlessly.
Slowly, the two monstrous entities began to merge.
Neither consumed the other.
Neither dominated the other.
Instead, they became a single vessel carrying two separate wills within one body, allowing them to evolve into something far greater than the mere sum of their parts.
Naturally, the process was excruciatingly painful for them.
The screams of the two creatures echoed endlessly throughout the Lucid Dream as their bodies fused together layer by layer.
But Cain showed no mercy.
He continued the process without hesitation.
Hours passed inside the Lucid Dream as the fusion continued.
The two monstrous Will Beasts twisted together within the endless psychic sea of Cain’s inner world, their bodies constantly breaking apart and reforming as the Scarlet King forced their essences into harmony. Legion’s eldritch humanoid form radiated endless madness and despair, while Robuke’s draconic body burned with primal fury and corruption capable of devouring all biological life.
At first, the fusion was violent beyond measure.
The skeletal giant would attempt to tear itself free from the draconic fiend, its countless arms clawing at reality itself, while Robuke answered with savage roars that unleashed oceans of crimson corruption capable of melting mountains inside the Lucid Dream. Entire landscapes rose and collapsed under the pressure of their struggle.
Yet Cain remained unmoved.
Chains forged from the Scarlet Throne, the Power of Chaos, and his Half-Step Fourth Realm willpower bound the creatures together with absolute force. Every time the fusion destabilized, Cain immediately corrected it, suppressing the madness and guiding the process forward with overwhelming precision.
Slowly, the resistance weakened.
The two beings no longer remained separate entities but began to overlap at the deepest level of their Primordial Essence. Flesh fused with bone. Hatred fused with despair. Corruption fused with madness.
And then—
The Chimera Will was born.
A massive shock wave erupted across the Lucid Dream.
The newly formed entity slowly rose from the psychic sea, its colossal body unlike anything Cain had ever seen before.
It possessed a towering humanoid upper body covered in ash-gray skeletal armor, with countless elongated arms extending from its back like the limbs of a fallen god. Each hand carried different powers—some radiated decay, others corruption, madness, rage, despair, or destruction.
Below the waist stretched the massive draconic body of Robuke, covered not in scales, but in exposed crimson muscles that pulsed like living worlds. Four enormous wings spread behind it, each one releasing storms of scarlet corruption and dark psychic power.
Its head was the most terrifying part.
One half resembled Legion’s faceless skull, eternally screaming in silent agony.
The other half resembled Robuke’s savage draconic visage, its jaws overflowing with crimson flames.
At the center of its forehead burned a single scarlet-golden eye.
The moment that eye opened—
"ROOOOOOAAAAARRRRR!!!"
The roar shook the entire Lucid Dream.
Cain’s expression instantly changed.
The pressure generated by the Chimera Will exploded outward like the collapse of a universe. Mountains shattered. Seas evaporated. Entire sections of the Lucid Dream trembled violently as endless psychic storms spread in every direction.
Even Cain felt his soul tremble.
The pressure was so immense that for a brief instant, he nearly lost control over the realm itself.
Blood flowed from the corner of his mouth as his pupils constricted.
