Cain located the dimension's core, a powerful orb linked to the Emptiness. Upon attempting to seize control, the realm's ancient formations awakened, unleashing four mythic beasts. Cain defeated them using his physical strength alone. He then shattered the protections of the second and third layers, a raging ocean and nine suns respectively. Finally, the fourth layer revealed a colossal Ouroboros, whose attack sent Cain crashing through mountains, leaving him facing true danger.

Entire peaks collapsed behind the Scarlet King, reduced to oceans of rubble as shock waves spread across the realm. Yet even then, Cain’s mind did lose sight of the bigger picture.

He kept the destructive force tightly contained, using the Power of Chaos and the Flow to redirect the energy upward into the sky instead of allowing it to ravage the citadels of the Ouroboros Cult.

A deep breath escaped his lips as he rose from the crater.

Blood trickled down the corner of his mouth, arousing surprise on his face.

"I am in Resurreccion, making my endurance as hard as a Half-Step Fourth Realm treasure, yet that single strike made me bleed." The golden light in his eyes only burned brighter. "So this is the true guardian of the core... I want it."

Far above him, the colossal Ouroboros floated through the highest sky. Its endless serpentine body coiled around the firmament itself, one half radiating vibrant emerald light filled with boundless life force, while the other side emanated pitch-black death energy capable of extinguishing souls.

The creature’s aura surpassed every formation beast Cain had faced so far.

Even Late Alpha Omega Overgods would tremble before it.

Worthy of a treasure that originated in the Emptiness.

The Ouroboros opened its jaws and released a roar that shook the entire dimension.

Immediately afterward, countless rivers of life and death energy descended from the sky like divine punishment.

Cain’s eyes narrowed sharply.

He did not dodge.

Instead, he stepped forward.

The Primordial Body erupted with power as scarlet flames and golden radiance covered his flesh. His fist shot upward, colliding head-on with the descending torrent.

"BOOOOM!"

The clash distorted space itself.

The streams of life and death exploded apart, yet instead of allowing the backlash to spread freely, Cain twisted his body and redirected the force into the Endless River.

Even while fighting at this level, his focus remained divided.

One half of his consciousness battled the Ouroboros.

The other continued piercing through the layers of the core.

Inside the heart of the dimension, his soul force, amplified by the [A.I. Chip Module], advanced steadily through the ancient seals protecting the control center. Millions upon millions of runes shifted before his eyes as calculations flooded his mind.

Cain’s expression remained calm despite the pressure.

"I only need a little more time."

The Ouroboros seemed to sense the danger in which the core of the realm found itself.

Its gigantic eyes glowed with fury as the balance between life and death around it collapsed into chaos. The next moment, its body split apart into two massive serpents.

One radiated pure life.

The other radiated pure death.

Together they lunged toward Cain from opposite directions.

The Scarlet King clenched his fists. His muscles expanded with explosive force.

Then he moved.

"BOOM!"

The life serpent crashed against his left arm while the death serpent collided with his right. The impact shattered the land beneath Cain’s feet and generated hurricanes powerful enough to erase mountains.

Yet the Scarlet King stood firm.

Veins bulged across his arms as he physically held back the two colossal entities.

The life force attempted to overwhelm his cells with uncontrolled growth while the death force sought to decay his flesh and soul simultaneously.

Unfortunately for the formation, Cain’s body had long surpassed normal logic.

His willpower erupted.

The Half-Step Fourth Realm willpower surged through every inch of his body, suppressing both energies through sheer dominance.

Then Cain roared.

With monstrous strength, he seized both serpents by the throat and smashed them into each other.

"BAAAAAANG!"

The collision produced a shock wave that split the sky above.

The two serpents merged once more into the complete Ouroboros, but before it could stabilize, Cain appeared directly before its head.

The Stars of Origin around his forehead glowed as his fist descended.

"BOOOOOOM!"

The punch landed directly between the creature’s eyes.

Cracks spread across the Ouroboros’ skull as its enormous body crashed into the ground.

At the same time, deep within the core of the realm—

"CRACK!"

The last form of defense on the core of the realm had finally shattered.

Cain’s consciousness surged deeper into the heart of the dimension.

The moment Cain’s consciousness pierced into the true heart of the dimension, the entire realm trembled violently.

Ancient formations lit up across the shattered citadel, while rivers of life and death energy surged through the sky like enraged dragons.

The colossal Ouroboros immediately sensed that the control over the realm was being overriden and it reacted with madness and fury, releasing a roar that shook the entire Ouroborous Cult.

Then it moved.

The gigantic serpent vanished from sight despite its monstrous size, appearing before Cain in less than an instant. Its jaws descended with enough force to devour mountains whole.

Cain’s eyes sharpened.

He twisted his body at the last second, narrowly avoiding the bite as the Ouroboros tore through the atmosphere behind him. Before the creature could turn, Cain counterattacked.

His fist exploded forward.

"BOOOOM!"

The strike landed against the serpent’s scales, unleashing a shock wave powerful enough to split oceans. Cracks spread through the life-and-death armor covering the creature, but the Ouroboros endured and retaliated instantly.

Its tail swept across the sky.

Cain raised both arms to block.

"BANG!"

The impact hurled him across the realm like a meteor, smashing through dozens of broken buildings before he regained control. Yet even while flying backward, his consciousness continued invading the core.

Millions of runes rotated before his soul.

The final authority of the realm resisted fiercely, trying to erase the intruder through overwhelming waves of spiritual pressure.

Cain’s willpower erupted, allowing him to decipher the endless streams of laws at a terrifying speed.

Outside, the Ouroboros attacked once more.

Its body split apart into thousands of smaller serpents formed from life and death energy, each one lunging toward Cain from a different direction.

The Scarlet King took a deep breath.

The Stars of Origin around his forehead began to rotate.

Then he partially fused with the Endless River, unleashing a truly terrifying speed.

The sky exploded into countless afterimages as Cain clashed head-on with the swarm. His fists, elbows, knees, and shoulders became divine weapons capable of crushing reality itself.

"BOOM!"

"BANG!"

"CRACK!"

Every collision annihilated hundreds of serpents, but more continued emerging endlessly.

Still, Cain’s focus never wavered.

Inside the core, the final chains were being rewritten, granting the Scarlet King absolute control over the realm.

The Ouroboros sensed what was happening.

For the first time, panic appeared in its massive eyes.

The surviving serpents merged back together into the complete Ouroboros, and all the life and death energy in the realm gathered into its jaws, forming a gray sphere capable of erasing all existence.

The creature unleashed it.

Space collapsed wherever the sphere passed.

Cain’s eyes blazed with scarlet flames and golden light. A vortex appeared on his left eye, swallowing the sphere, before the right eye glowed, making it explode on the edge of the realm, where the damage would be minimal.

"BOOOOOOOOOOM!"

The explosions echoed across the entire realm, showing just how much power it carried.

At the same instant—

"CRACK!"

Cain’s consciousness fused with the heart of the realm.

In a single moment, he gained control over the entire dimension.

The sky froze.

The formations halted.

And the Ouroboros suddenly found itself frozen. All the killing intent and bloodlust in its eyes vanished, replaced by submission.

Cain released a long sigh once the battle was finally over, a faint smile appearing on his face as he flexed his sore muscles. He was extraordinarily powerful, but the Ouroboros had proven to be a terrifying opponent, especially since he had been forced to restrain his energy to avoid wanton destruction while simultaneously dividing his focus to decipher and override the core of the realm.

Although fatigue weighed on his body and mind, Cain knew time waited for no one. A war still loomed over the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance, and every second mattered. Because of that, he wasted no time.

The next instant, his figure vanished, appearing at the heart of the realm.

Cain slowly extended his hand and gently placed it over the core.

Immediately, his consciousness merged with the dimension once more.

"Collapse."

The command echoed softly, yet it carried absolute authority.

Not even a second later, the entire realm began to tremble violently. Mountains crumbled into streams of light, rivers dissolved into energy, and even the sky itself folded inward. Space compressed layer by layer as the dimension shrank into itself.

Everything returned to the core.

The process did not take long.

Within minutes, the vast realm that had once housed the legacy of the Ouroboros Cult had completely vanished, leaving behind nothing but endless darkness around Cain.

Floating before him was a small black box no larger than a human torso.

Yet inside that seemingly ordinary container existed an entire independent dimension.

A profound light appeared in Cain’s eyes as he examined it.

With a single thought, he sent the box into his Lucid Dream, where he could analyze every inch of it thoroughly.

And the more he learned, the wider his smile became.

"This will not only grant me treasures and weapons capable of strengthening my people..." Cain muttered softly, excitement flashing through his eyes. "With this, I can land a massive victory in the next couple of weeks."
