The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2568 Void vs fire
Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Anark and Adam engaged in an unceasing duel, their fists and kicks a rapid blur, each movement honed by formidable skill and precision.
To any onlooker, their fight was a dizzying spectacle, yet within the apparent chaos lay a mastery of martial combat as refined as the very laws that structure reality.
Every punch and kick exchanged by the pair was a demonstration of unique cosmic power. Their techniques were more than merely accurate; they were the embodiment of fundamental laws expressed through their physical beings.
The edifice housing their battle shuddered without respite.
Though constructed from materials nearly as robust as a lesser Empyrean World, the structure groaned under the immense force of their clashes. Waves of impact radiated outward, shaking everything in their path and causing fissures to spiderweb across walls and ceilings.
With each engagement, the strain on the building intensified.
Contusions and blood began to mark the bodies of both Fourth Realm combatants, but it soon became evident that one held a distinct advantage.
Anark.
While Adam's physique was extraordinarily powerful, honed through arduous cultivation, it still lagged somewhat behind Anark's.
Curse Eaters might be considered an Apex Race, but the flesh of the True Primordial was not simply material; it was a fusion of matter, energy, and spirit particles. Each blow struck by Anark contained forces far beyond mere physical might.
Bruises blossomed across Adam's form, and the fractures in his bones impeded his movements, subtly undermining the exactitude of his combat techniques. Nevertheless, he pressed on, unyielding.
The golden luminescence in Adam's eyes blazed brighter with each passing moment.
The Flow was adapting.
With every collision, with every parry and strike, Adam absorbed Anark's combat patterns. The Flow served as his guide, adjusting, evolving, and seeking the optimal pathway through the ferocity of their battle.
And then, finally-
He discovered it.
In a sudden maneuver, Adam shattered Anark's defensive posture, invading his personal space with impeccable timing. His hand darted forward, index and middle fingers extended, aiming directly for Anark's throat. It was an impeccable strike.
An attack that, according to the Flow, was utterly unavoidable.
Triumph felt imminent.
Yet, just as the blow was about to connect-
Anark's lips curved into a smile.
A broad, knowing smile.
In the subsequent instant, his body moved in a manner that defied the very principles the Flow espoused.
"ZNNN-"
Adam's attack sliced through empty air.
His eyes widened, betraying his shock and disbelief.
Even the most brilliant talents couldn't adapt to the Flow so swiftly, let alone circumvent it. For a fleeting moment, time itself seemed to halt as Anark's voice resonated, calm and steady.
"I trained to counter the Flow... so I could deal with an exceptionally irritating fellow back home," Anark declared. "I never imagined I'd require it here and now."
Before Adam could recuperate, before he could even retract his outstretched arm- Anark's retaliatory strike landed true.
His fist impacted Adam's temple with devastating force, sending his body hurtling to the ground. The impact reverberated through the entire structure, dislodging debris from above as the building creaked under the stress. Adam's vision swam as his brain reeled within his skull.
But there was no reprieve.
Through the disorienting haze, he perceived it-
Anark's foot was descending towards his head, poised to crush his skull.
At the precipice of impact, Adam's eyes ignited with a crimson glow.
A solitary wing of plasma erupted from his back, and in the following moment, his entire being was wreathed in flame. A brilliant conflagration burst outward, compelling Anark to recoil as the intense heat surged violently in all directions.
Anark's gaze flared in response.
The Primordial Force of the Void materialized around him, sheathing his form in violet plasma that directly opposed the flames. Fire and void met, suffusing the area with conflicting energies as Adam rose once more from the earth.
Behind him, the singular Wing of Order radiated with brilliant intensity, channeling the very power of the cosmos.
Concurrently, the ten Stars of Origin encircling Anark's brow began to illuminate, aligning his body with the World Strength. Harnessing Earth's cosmic might was an arduous feat, even for beings of their caliber, yet even a sliver of that power propelled them to greater heights. Their energies surged, their very presence amplified as they prepared for another engagement.
"ARGHHH!"
Both combatants bellowed as their power erupted outwards, their forms hurtling towards one another with unstoppable momentum.
Just as they were poised to collide, Adam elevated his right hand, concentrating an immense power within his palm. The attack was unleashed instantaneously.
Anark braced himself, anticipating a blast or a wave of fire-
But what manifested was neither.
It was light.
Blinding, absolute light.
Its blinding radiance surpassed all of Anark's expectations, overwhelming his senses and momentarily stealing his sight. Even for a Fourth Realm being, the sheer intensity of that light was profoundly disorienting.
The dazzling display lasted merely a heartbeat.
However, that brief moment proved sufficient.
By the time Anark's vision fully returned, Adam's palm was already making contact
directly against his chest.
"BOOOOOOOOM!"
A cataclysmic explosion detonated, unleashing a torrent of flames that annihilated every remaining pane of glass in the structure. The sheer concussive force propelled Anark violently downward. His form plummeted, impacting the street below and skidding across the asphalt, carving a path of destruction in his wake.
As he finally came to a stop, blood began to seep into his tattered clothes from his back.
Anark's fists clenched. Frustration flared in his eyes; he recognized how thoroughly Adam's unique technique had caught him completely off guard.
And before he could even attempt to stand anew-
Further detonations thundered from the sky above.
Glancing upward, Anark witnessed Adam defying gravity, hovering mid-air amidst his own explosive assaults, unleashing wave after wave of fiery projectiles. Each individual eruption served as a component, contributing to a colossal formation that coalesced into a vast circle directly above Anark's current position.
In the space of a single, drawn-out breath, the disparate flames merged into unity.
A monumental vortex of pure fire was thus born.
This inferno descended rapidly upon Anark, engulfing him within its swirling vortex. The flames spun with increasing velocity, their oppressive heat intensifying with every rotation. They roared with an almost sentient, unimaginable fury, reaching temperatures that, in any environment beyond Earth, would have easily incinerated entire landmasses.
Within the heart of the searing vortex, Anark grit his teeth fiercely.
The searing heat permeated his very lungs, burning him from the inside out as his durable body was pushed to its absolute breaking point. The sheer intensity of the flames exerted such immense pressure that even his exceptionally resilient existence began to falter, teetering on the brink of spontaneous combustion.
Yet, he resolutely refused to succumb.
The Stars of Origin within him blazed with untamed power, and the ancient Primordial Force of the Void surged vibrantly throughout his being, growing progressively denser and more concentrated. All of this immense power was channeled and compacted into his right fist, compressing relentlessly until it reached its ultimate, formidable peak.
Anark firmly planted his feet, assuming an unshakeable battle stance.
Then-
With decisive action, he slammed his fist into the ground.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
A colossal column of searing violet energy erupted violently upward, forcefully spearing through the fiery tornado and obliterating it in an instant. The explosive force sent Adam hurtling backward with tremendous momentum, his form careening through the air as the intricate structure of his devastating attack disintegrated.
However, Anark granted him absolutely no time to recuperate.
In the very next moment, he materialized directly before Adam.
His repositioning was achieved instantaneously.
And his subsequent strike— utterly unstoppable.
His fist connected squarely with Adam's jaw, propelling him downward with truly devastating force. Adam's body plummeted like a fallen star, smashing into the ground below with cataclysmic impact.
