Anark infiltrated the skyscraper housing the King of the Tenth Empyrean World. Despite his stealth, Anark's attack was blocked by a golden lotus, leaving him in shock as the King remained unharmed.

Anark's heart gave a faint tremor from the sheer astonishment, yet before even a single breath could be taken, his eyes blazed with unyielding resolve and piercing focus. There was no space for hesitation. The moment of surprise had been insufficient, and he was determined not to let this chance escape.

In that precise instant, Anark perceived the world around him as if it had transformed.

Crimson fissures, like scars, spread through his field of vision – delicate fractures etched into the very essence of existence. These were not tangible breaks, but conceptual weaknesses, vulnerable points within reality that only someone of Anark's caliber could discern and exploit. Despite its flawless appearance, its radiance and seeming totality, even the golden lotus was not entirely without imperfection.

And Anark perceived it.

Before his momentum could wane, he coiled his entire being, channeling every iota of his strength from his legs through his core, into his shoulder, and finally, his arm. His open palm curved into a clenched fist as he redirected the full impetus of his assault, targeting not the lotus directly, but the flaw he had identified within it.

"CRACK!"

The sound tore through the pervading silence.

The eyes of the white-haired young man widened in utter disbelief. Being caught off guard was startling enough, but to witness his Fourth Realm defensive ability shattered with such apparent ease defied all logic.

Nevertheless, it had occurred.

The golden lotus fractured, its luminous petals bursting apart as Anark's fist plunged through its protective barrier, striking the young man directly in the chest. The impact was colossal, shredding his attire and propelling him backward like a celestial projectile.

He was ejected from the towering skyscraper.

The immense gravity of Earth immediately asserted its dominance, thwarting any attempt at stabilization or recovery as he plunged toward the surface. However, mere meters into his descent, Anark materialized at the precipice of the ruined floor.

Without a second thought, he leaped.

His form plunged like a shooting star, annihilating the distance in an instant before colliding with the airborne young man. Grasping him by the torso, Anark drove him downward with overwhelming power, the two of them smashing through the roof of an adjacent structure.

The collision was devastating.

The building groaned under the immense pressure, its walls succumbing to fractures as the duo tore through it, cascading into the levels below. Debris and fragments erupted outwards, filling the air as the edifice shuddered from the violent impact.

When the chaotic motion finally ceased, Anark stood amidst the wreckage.

A slight tremor ran through his body from the sheer force of the impact. Even for him, crashing through the reinforced edifice of Earth felt akin to breaching a fragile Universal Wall. The resistance of this locale was astonishing. Yet, there was no moment for recuperation.

His gaze sharpened as he raised his fist, preparing to deliver a decisive blow to the young man's head, thereby concluding the engagement.

However, before his strike could descend—

A hand made contact with his chest.

In the subsequent instant, an explosion of unfathomable magnitude erupted from that point of contact, propelling Anark across the devastated corridor. His body rent through the remnants of the structure, shattering walls before he agilely twisted in mid-air, dissipating the force and resuming a combat-ready stance.

His eyes immediately narrowed.

A searing burn mark marred his chest.

The attack, though instantaneous, had branded his flesh with

a heat capable of melting Half-Step Fourth Realm artifacts. This alone served as irrefutable confirmation.

His adversary was unequivocally a genuine Fourth Realm lifeform.

Yet, he himself was not unscathed.

The young man slowly rose from the debris, his expression placid, eerily composed. The mark of Anark's

strike was evident on his chest.

"You fractured my sternum... and my ribs," the young man stated in an even tone, as if recounting a minor occurrence.

There was no trace of anger.

No hint of fear.

Not even a flicker of pain.

His emotional regulation was absolute.

His gaze intensified as he fixed upon Anark, scrutinizing him with quiet

fervor.

"You are not an agent of Paradise..." he continued, his voice unwavering. "A True Primordial?"

As the question left his lips, a subtle spark of recognition ignited in his eyes, followed swiftly by a complex shift in his expression.

"You present differently than the last occasion I observed you, Anark."

Anark's eyes narrowed slightly, and after a brief pause, he responded, his

voice equally measured.

"You bear changes as well, Adam. Neither of us remains as we were during the Great War."

Upon the recollection of that era, Adam's posture eased marginally, and a fleeting expression of remembrance graced his features, imbued with a deeper undercurrent – possibly pain, or perhaps regret. These emotions vanished in less than the blink of an eye, his composure swiftly returning.

"So then," Adam inquired softly, "have you sought retribution?"

Anark's fists clenched, and a potent killing intent ignited within his

gaze.

"You seek retribution for our betrayal... after I and my people stood with you?"

Adam's voice betrayed no hesitation.

The truth was left unclouded.

With a deep nod, he confirmed, "Precisely that is what I intend."

The easy admission only intensified Anark's clenching fist, yet he strove to maintain his composure.

"I am not here for vengeance, Adam," he stated with conviction. "My aim is to rescue my home."

"I understand."

Adam's expression reverted to a calm neutrality as he nodded again. Then, with a sudden shift, he crouched slightly, a golden luminescence in his eyes as his muscles coiled taut.

"If that is the case," he declared icily, "your end is now."

Anark responded with a faint, equally cold, and just as determined smile.

"A curious coincidence," he countered. "I harbored the same thought."

Their gazes met and held.

An oppressive aura began to build between them, their mere presence warping the surrounding atmosphere as their power surged. A subtle tremor ran through the ground beneath them; both were poised for an immediate assault.

And then-

They acted.

"KRA-KOOM!"

The instant their fists impacted, a devastating shockwave erupted, accompanied by crackling bolts of lightning that shot forth from their collision point. What seemed a mere exchange of blows was, in reality, a clash of cosmic magnitudes. Had this confrontation occurred away from Earth, entire continents would have been rent asunder, and the heavens themselves would have ignited in response.

But on this world...

The devastation was confined.

Nevertheless, the sheer force was no less appalling.

Anark grit his teeth, twisting his fist to drive Adam back, then swiftly followed with an elbow aimed at his face. As the strike neared, the golden glow in Adam's eyes intensified, enabling him to react in the nick of time. With seamless dexterity, he contorted his body backward, evading the blow from an angle that defied possibility. From this contorted posture, he unleashed a kick directly at Anark's head. Anark managed to raise his arm, blocking it just in time.

Even so, the impact sent him hurtling into the wall behind him.

An immediate follow-up kick came, but this time Anark sidestepped, weaving past it before lunging forward. He delivered a potent blow to Adam's chest, propelling him across the hall.

Yet, Adam regained his footing almost instantaneously.

He veered to the side, narrowly dodging a subsequent attack that obliterated the wall where he had stood. In return, he executed a precise and devastating counterattack of his own.

The true battle had now commenced.

With every subsequent exchange, both combatants showcased the terrifying mastery of their martial prowess.
