The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2537 A new Master of Chaos? (I)
Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Deniel's eyes narrowed sharply the moment his cultivation's full force exploded outward.
The heavens shook and squeezed inward, like an unseen hand pressing down from all sides. Reality twisted beneath the strain, while the atmosphere turned dense with choking pressure.
"Do you truly dare to defy the command of a Sacred Kingdom?"
His every word dripped with crushing killing intent, charged with tremendous power that rattled everything nearby.
"I caught a glimpse of your strength from the memories of those who took part in the Nirvana Stronghold's battle," Deniel continued coldly. "But defeating a Realm Ruler from one of the three weakest realms is something any Sword of the Nightmare Sacred Kingdom can accomplish."
Cain's gaze sharpened.
Now he sensed it plainly—Deniel's aura matched or exceeded the Eternal Soul King's.
"With his origins," Cain mused, "he surely possesses vastly superior treasures and cultivation methods... maybe even those bordering the Fourth Realm."
A multitude of thoughts raced through his head.
Honestly, stepping into a Sacred Kingdom presented an enormous chance. If he could safeguard his life and liberty, the rewards would be inconceivable. Such an entity held wisdom, assets, and might far surpassing the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe or the Crimson World.
However, a price attached.
The more he pushed into Paradise, the more difficult escaping back to the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe grew.
Cain stayed quiet for a short while.
Having pondered all angles, he settled on his choice.
Staring at Deniel, he let out a measured breath.
"I am willing to comply," Cain said calmly. "But there is something I must finish first. Give me three months, and I will go to the Sacred Kingdom myself."
The offer stood as fair—more than fair, really. In usual situations, it would receive acceptance.
Of course, Cain never planned to keep that vow.
In just two months, he figured to obtain the strength needed for returning to the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. Once through, not even the Nightmare Sacred Kingdom could readily pursue.
Regrettably for Cain, Deniel's look conveyed a single truth.
No deal would happen.
"I already told you," Deniel said, his tone icing over. "You have ten minutes to settle your affairs."
His third eye throbbed with bloody red light.
"I do not care about your unfinished business. You will come with me and meet His Highness-the Nightmare Sacred King of Chaos and Order."
Cain eyed him wordlessly.
Using the Flow, he detected Deniel's genuine feelings and aims. Disdain—intense and blatant—aimed not only at him but at everyone from lesser realms. Beneath the contempt burned something utterly assured:
Deniel refused to bargain.
Refusal from Cain meant attack... and forcible seizure.
"If a battle is inevitable," Cain thought, "then I might as well strike
first."
Golden fire ignited fiercely around his form.
In the following instant—
He disappeared.
Deniel's eyes widened a touch.
He expected pushback, rebellion, maybe even frenzy—but not this. The notion of the Scarlet King launching first seemed nearly impossible. No rational person would choose to
provoke a Sacred Kingdom.
But sanity didn't faze Cain.
Suddenly, he materialized right before Deniel.
The Sacred Armor had formed, sheathing his frame in
dazzling splendor. His heart pounded like a stellar explosion, every throb sending surges of might. Scarlet plasma wings burst from his back, sparking with ruinous energy.
Deniel countered without delay.
Golden armor appeared on him as his arm lifted precisely in
time to defend.
Then—
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
The collision rent the heavens.
White fire blasted out while Deniel hurtled down like a plummeting star, destructive energies
engulfing him as he crashed into the distant earth.
"ARGHH!"
A booming bellow rose from the impact pit.
Deniel's Ancestor Power flared wildly, making his form swell
—bulking up, toughening, gaining endurance. His body resisted stellar assaults, as his resolve crushed the creeping Quietus Force seeking to taint his spirit and soul.
He retaliated without pause.
His right fist tightened, amassing shadowy metallic power that exuded
keenness and ruin. Its ferocity appeared able to cleave
reality apart.
Then he unleashed it.
That strike proved impeccable.
Ideal trajectory. Ideal moment. Reality compacted around the blow,
offering zero chance to dodge.
Cain's eyes widened.
Even via the Flow, dodging such a polished and
dominating assault lay beyond him.
Thankfully-
He had no need for it.
Rather than falling back, Cain advanced boldly.
In the nick of time, he blocked the attack with merely his
index and middle fingers.
The collision... never materialized.
The colossal force driving the punch evaporated in an instant, as though
consumed by a unseen void.
Astonishment swept over Deniel's features.
But the subsequent development was far more dreadful.
The seized power was rerouted.
Cain's draconic gauntlet expanded, shifting into a gigantic
cannon thrumming with amassed might.
Then it unleashed.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
The eruption slammed into Deniel at point-blank range, releasing catastrophic energy
that ravaged the earth and gouged a enormous ravine spanning
kilometers.
The assault possessed sufficient might to incapacitate even a Peak Alpha Omega
Overgod.
Yet Deniel was no common foe.
Although struck hard, his armor soaked up the bulk of the injury,
and his frame bore the remaining brunt.
Cain wasted no time.
Right after the blast subsided, he lunged forth once more, his aura
flaring brighter as he plunged into the crater.
His gaze fixed upon Deniel's silhouette.
The Royal Blutlinie warrior lingered there-striving to dispel the
stubborn white flames gripping his form.
An ideal opening. Cain's killing intent erupted.
One strike now would terminate the fight at once. Tapping into the momentum of the Endless River of the Flow, he
surged faster, funneling all his strength into his gauntlet. Energy amassed furiously, poised to pulverize every bone in Deniel's body.
Victory loomed close.
But precisely as Cain neared-
Deniel's eyes burst open. They blazed with a horrifying crimson glow.
From his back, a lone wing of searing red plasma extended, exuding
an archaic and overpowering aura.
And in that very moment- The Universe Matrix activated.
