The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2419 Gazing into the Flow

Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Hades and Satan relentlessly battered Gilgark, their strikes reopening wounds while the Ocean of the Blood Sun sustained their own battered forms. Mirena, guided by Cain's subtle insights through The Flow, repeatedly struck Orfin's true body amid the chaos, cracking bones and forcing the Royal Blutlinie into retreat. Morningstar waged a ferocious duel against the colossal Sky Terror, dodging plasma blasts and severing a wing with his halberd, even as Cain commanded blood tides to drag the Omen Beast into the depths. Deep within the beast, the Crown Prince discerned Cain's control over the ocean's soul and unleashed his hidden Ancestor Power of Soul Manipulation, forging an invisible bridge to the crimson consciousness below.

A chilling, invasive stab pierced straight into Cain's mind and soul, sharp and unrelenting. Within moments, he realized exactly what was

occurring.

Soul enslavement.

The mere idea alone could terrify even the most powerful entities. Having one's soul conquered, bound in chains, and turned into an eternal puppet represented a doom far worse than dying—a horrifying ordeal that robbed away one's sense of self, determination, and liberty.

But rather than dread, only a sense of amusement rose within Cain's thoughts.

"Hahahaha... how stupid."

From the moment he battled Legion, Cain had made protecting his soul his top concern. Paradise teemed with nightmarish creatures and timeless beings who commanded strange, horrifying powers. Ignoring soul safeguards in this place would amount to pure recklessness.

Golden seals sprang up throughout his soul at once, complex and multi-layered, emanating timeless dominance. They dragged the erosion and expansion of the Crown Prince's force to a mere trickle. What ought to have wrapped up in just seconds got dragged out into an exhausting battle that might drag on for hours.

Within Sky Terror, the Crown Prince's brow furrowed intensely upon detecting those barriers. Icy determination flared in his eyes as he channeled ever greater amounts of energy into his Ancestor Power, shoving his intent onward. "The harder you fight back," he whispered with sinister intent, "the more I crave you." The red eye set in the Crown Prince's forehead flared with increasing intensity, its radiance overwhelming the insides of the gigantic demonic dragon. Cain sensed the taint rush ahead, slamming into his golden seals with crushing might, splintering them bit by bit.

Still, Cain remained composed.

Those seals weren't designed for total invincibility.

They existed to gain precious time.

"The barriers hold firm," Cain mused steadily. "Now, launch the counterattack."

Numerous choices lay before him.

He might ignite the vast reservoir of soul force he'd gathered across the years. He could draw on the life essence and power from the Ocean of the Blood Sun to bolster his defense. He even had the option to direct his Primordial Essence toward his recently formed body and leave the ocean behind completely.

Each choice demanded a heavy toll—one that could harm his core foundation or ruin his future growth.

Luckily, Cain possessed a different approach.

One without cost.

And infinitely more destructive.

Harnessing the Power of Chaos, Cain gripped the soul-linked pathway created by the Crown Prince. The one-directional assault got brutally warped, reformed into a mutual passage.

A link.

In the following moment, enormous crimson eyes filled the Crown Prince's view—immense enough to devour the skies whole.

"Hmph. A sly maneuver," the Crown Prince sneered. "Yet I hold the superior might."

Though caught off guard by his offensive flipping into a direct confrontation, the Crown Prince pressed on without mercy. His soul energy kept extending, clashing fiercely against Cain's essence. All he had to do was hold out. His Ancestor Power would soon add yet another servant.

What escaped his notice—

Was that the Scarlet King had no plans to strike using his soul. The strategy proved far more definitive. A force capable of shattering even a fighter at the Third Realm's pinnacle.

The crimson eyes started to radiate.

Not in red hues.

But golden.

They blazed ever more fiercely, until they drowned out all else in the Crown Prince's vision. Then—his consciousness exploded into fragments.

His thoughts plunged into an infinite, boundless stream, surging past dimensions and eras. It bore an everlasting calm, a deep tranquility that melted away strife, selfhood, and defiance.

The keen concentration and murderous urge in the Crown Prince's mind started to dissolve, giving way to a soft, satisfied grin.

For an instant, pure joy washed over him.

Then sheer terror.

For he sensed his very being coming undone.

The stream devoured him—not with fury, but completely. It wiped out the sense of self, peeled away uniqueness, and melted down all that was. Through the Power of Chaos, Cain had compelled their souls to confront the unadulterated Flow—the stream weaving through every facet of existence.

Cain managed to withstand its draw.

The Crown Prince could not.

"No... no, no, no-!" Desperation seized him as he attempted to push away, to

escape, to hold firm.

But resistance merely hastened the unraveling, akin to flailing in

quicksand.

"Someone—save me!"

Those became the final words from the Crown Prince.

His Primordial Essence and soul got ripped asunder and pulled into the Flow, vanished entirely.

"ARGHHHHH-!"

"ARGHHEHEH-!"

"ROOOOSSSRRRR-!"

Orfin, Gilgark, and Sky Terror howled in utter torment as the

Crown Prince's hold on their souls broke apart in a flash. The abrupt rebound ripped through them like a psychic blast.

"NOW!"

Cain's command boomed inside the minds of Morningstar, Mirena,

Hades, and Satan. A rush of life force and power flooded their forms, driving them past their thresholds—bestowing the might needed for

one last assault.

Satan lifted skyward, his gaze igniting as he released a huge wave of hellish fire.

Hades bellowed, lifting his arms while a gigantic orb of destructive

force gathered over his hands.

Mirena gleamed like a plummeting comet, her Ancestor Power bursting forth as she plunged down with a ruinous strike, crashing right onto Orfin's

head.

And Morningstar—

Morningstar's armament transformed into an enormous greatsword bigger than himself. In one ruthless arc, he sliced through

Sky Terror's backbone.

The pair of Royal Blutlinie and the massive Omen Beast—still housing the Crown Prince's remains—were flung into the Ocean of the Blood Sun. Severely injured, broken in flesh and spirit, they couldn't fight back as the blood-red waves encircled them.

The ocean enclosed them.

And devoured them.

A rush of excitement and triumph coursed through Cain's soul as he sensed the rewards flooding in. The life essence and power from a Late Alpha-Omega Overgod Omen Beast made the Ocean of the Blood Sun swell

enormously.

Yet that wasn't the real treasure.

The Ancestor Drops inside the Crown Prince, Gilgark,

and Orfin's forms were of extraordinary purity—vastly exceeding what Cain had gained from Kameron or Kanto.

After refining them, their strength would pour straight into his personal Ancestor Drop, elevating it far beyond what he anticipated.

Right as Cain geared up to absorb them—

A voice rang out over the field of battle.

"Stop."
