The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2415 Looming disaster
Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
"BOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
A devastating blast ripped through the Ocean of the Blood Sun, sending vast quantities of blood soaring upward in a raging scarlet gale. The resulting shockwave expanded fiercely, distorting the fabric of space around it. And this came from merely one assault.
The previously turbulent waters had transformed into a gigantic arena of conflict, its fierce glow extending over the whole region. The booming blasts reverberated so intensely that the far-off City of Kalous experienced the quakes shaking its very base.
"Damn it!"
In raging fury, Kriz bellowed while glaring at the enormous demonic dragon-like creature towering in front of him.
His whole form glowed with brilliant golden radiance, multiple layers of sacred energy bolstering his protections to incredible heights. But it didn't stop there, for his Ancestor Power ensured that each blow he delivered exploded with devastating force, cracking space and unleashing tremors across the blood sea.
Additionally, the life force and power absorbed from the Ocean of the Blood Sun amplified his prowess even more, pushing the Royal Blutlinie's abilities far past his usual boundaries.
Nevertheless-
It proved insufficient.
Sky Terror possessed overwhelming might.
"If I could just reach the Crown Prince," Kriz snarled between gritted teeth, "this would all be over."
His piercing gaze fixed on the silhouette positioned along Sky Terror's extended neck. The Crown Prince of the Kalous Kingdom remained composed, his aura stabilizing the fearsome Omen Beast.
All Kriz required was one precise hit.
Should the Crown Prince perish, the soul bond would break apart. Sky Terror would be left without direction, its movements thrown into disarray. Kriz was confident he could handle the creature afterward, once that horrifying boost diminished, even if it battled purely on reflex.
However, contemplation was a privilege he couldn't afford.
Sky Terror parted its enormous maw.
A barrage of shadowy plasma orbs burst out, cascading down on the Royal Blutlinie like an impending doomsday.
Nearby amid those fierce blasts, Mirena battled with all her strength.
Her eyes gleamed with intense, grave determination. Boosted by the Ocean of the Blood Sun, her cultivation had surged to the peak of the Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod Rank for the moment-yet her foe still hounded her without mercy.
Mirena confronted Orfin, the Crown Prince's female ally and a Royal Blutlinie from the Dark Blood Kingdom. A lengthy tail tipped with a sharp bone lance whipped behind her, exuding deadly menace.
Orfin's fighting skills were utterly dominant.
Her strikes blended savage power and exactness that could grind down even the toughest adversaries. Yet that wasn't the scariest part of her abilities.
Her Ancestor Power.
With a rush of force, Orfin summoned two perfect duplicates of herself, each holding about twenty-five percent of her bodily power. Effectively, Mirena contended against three foes simultaneously.
Although the duplicates couldn't kill on their own, telling them apart from the true Orfin was impossible. They synchronized flawlessly, interweaving and swapping spots without flaw, overwhelming Mirena with disorientation.
Mirena's eyes flicked wildly as the trio encircled her.
All at once, one materialized overhead.
A swift downward stomp aimed at her skull with incredible velocity.
Mirena lifted her left arm right away to defend, readying a retaliation with her right. The strike connected-but her eyes bulged in shock.
The force felt feeble.
Far too feeble.
"This isn't the real one-"
Before the idea could fully take shape, a savage stomp crashed into her
back.
"-ARGH!"
Mirena cried out as she was hurled through the sky, crimson spilling from her lips. Her frame spun wildly, bones groaning from
the impact.
Orfin lunged ahead at once to capitalize-
But a multitude of blood energy rays burst up between them, compelling
Orfin to stop and dodge. The strikes barely endangered her, yet they granted Mirena a brief respite.
Just enough to steady herself.
"If not for the reinforcement from the Ocean of the Blood Sun,"
Mirena reflected darkly, brushing blood from her mouth, "that kick would've
shattered my spine."
She balled her hands into fists and dove back into the combat.
In another spot, Satan and Hades struggled equally as much.
They opposed Gilgark, the Crown Prince's male partner-a colossal mass of rippling muscles stacked on more muscles. His frame displayed numerous marks, not from fights, but seemingly from intentional
operative alterations.
Each punch he threw launched Satan and Hades tumbling like discarded puppets.
Gilgark employed no tricks or subtlety. His style of battle relied on sheer, unstoppable brute force.
Satan just barely righted himself following a crushing hit to his torso. Blazing fires ignited around him as he released a furious blaze at Gilgark.
But Gilgark barreled directly into the flames.
Turning his frame into a living siege weapon, he rammed Satan during the assault, flinging the Royal Guard aside amid snapping bones.
Before Gilgark could pursue-
Hades materialized at his rear.
His talons raked down, wielding power sufficient to rip apart Early Alpha-Omega Overgod tissue effortlessly.
However, the instant the talons connected, Hades stiffened.
It was like slicing into layers upon layers of tightly woven
tendons, merged into an abnormally tough substance. The Royal Guard's talons managed only a superficial gash.
Hades' eyes expanded, then a spark of realization flashed
across them.
"His Ancestor Power?"
That alone could explain it.
The odd operative scars spanning Gilgark's body abruptly clicked into place-but before Hades could ponder more, Gilgark whirled with alarming quickness and slammed a pulverizing strike into him.
Hades plummeted headlong into the Ocean of the Blood Sun.
Across the chaos of war, the sole zone where the Aztorus Kingdom wasn't completely dominated by the Kalous Kingdom's troops
was the duel between Prima Deity and ArchDeity Blutlinie. Yet even that confrontation held no true significance in the broader picture.
The war's resolution would unfold in other places.
And Cain understood this, though he kept his attention there.
Far below the waves, the Scarlet King released floods of
blood energy. Enormous scarlet claws rose from the sea, seizing, smashing, and pulling Blutlinie down into the abyss.
One after another, they were seized.
Devoured.
Cain required every essence, every bit of life force.
He'd demand it all if he hoped to conclude this fight without total
catastrophe.
