The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2338 The Ancient One's ultimatum

The Ancient One's eyes narrowed instantly, despite being caught off guard. Raising a single hand, he intercepted Ragnarök directly. That crescent of energy—a strike powerful enough to split a Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod in two—was stopped cold by nothing more than his bare palm. It was a staggering display of raw power.
Shockwaves of reality-warping light radiated in every direction, causing the heavens to tremble and the ground to heave, yet the Ancient One remained unyielding. He stood like an immovable pillar at the epicenter of the destruction, completely unfazed.
Cain, however, was far from being defeated.
Even before the initial flash of light dissipated, Cain had materialized behind the Ancient One. With a heartbeat thundering like a collapsing supernova, he pushed his Asura Form to the absolute limit of his physical endurance.
His muscles bulged as a torrent of life force and soul power flooded his frame. The Scarlet King swung his blade in a ruthless arc aimed straight for the Ancient One's throat.
To Cain's dismay, Sky Devourer failed to find its mark.
Using his other hand, the Ancient One blocked the incoming edge.
Cain’s pupils dilated as a freezing sensation washed over him upon impact. It felt as if his weapon had plunged into a total vacuum—a void stripped of space-time, an unreachable abyss that defied passage.
Nevertheless, Cain did not falter.
With a hardened expression, he pressed his hand against the flat of Sky Devourer’s blade and uttered a single command.
"Ragnarök."
Genuine astonishment flickered in the Ancient One’s eyes as Cain unleashed his Chaos Art for a second time.
"BOOOOM!"
A fresh explosion fractured reality. The Ancient One was now caught between two world-ending arcs of light striking from opposite sides. Both carried the undiluted Power of Chaos and the concentrated essence of the Matrix of Origin Island, proving strong enough to suppress even the Ancient One’s Power of Negation.
Despite this, the Ancient One was a terrifying entity beyond comprehension—one who could withstand Cain’s ultimate technique with his physical body alone.
But at that moment, fate intervened cruelly.
As the Ancient One struggled against the pincer attack of light, his frame suddenly shuddered. A searing agony flared in his chest, erupting from the exact spot where the Leader of the Masked Race had previously wounded him. That injury reopened violently, sabotaging his strength and control at the most desperate second.
His arms gave way under the immense backlash, and a trickle of blood escaped the corner of his mouth.
Before he could stabilize, the two reality-tearing arcs surged inward, shattering his defenses and consuming him in a blinding detonation of light that pierced the firmament, making the very fabric of space vibrate.
A massive, magnificent cross of radiance blazed with divine intensity, infused with the fundamental laws and rules of the world. It appeared as though the glow would persist for hours, but after only a few seconds, it trembled before being shredded by a shockwave bursting from within.
The Ancient One emerged from the fading light, his gaze frigid and sharp. His body was etched with numerous lacerations—some minor, others tracing the deep gashes left by the Leader of the Masked Race, widening them and inflicting damage far more severe than the original strikes.
A burning fury ignited within the Ancient One at the realization that a mere Early Alpha Omega Overgod had managed to wound him so deeply.
There was no time for reflection, however.
A scarlet meteor plummeted from the heavens, descending with enough momentum to annihilate a world.
The Ancient One’s expression turned grim as he raised his hand—this time, not to defend, but to repel.
An explosive repulsive force saturated with pure Power of Negation surged outward, clashing head-on with the falling Sky Devourer. Cain ground his teeth as he felt the energy attempting to not only push him back but to unmake his very soul.
His eyes flared with intensity as the Wings of Chaos beat frantically, funneling the power of the cosmos through his sword.
"Hmph." The Ancient One let out a sneer, clearly vexed by Cain’s stubbornness.
He invoked the Power of Negation once more—this time targeting his own position.
To Cain’s horror, the Ancient One vanished instantly, causing the momentum of Cain's own strike to carry him downward like a falling star. Before Cain could adjust his stance, a palm slammed violently into his back.
In the following instant, a crushing wave of repulsive force exploded.
Cain felt his spine splinter and his skull crack as he was driven into the dirt, gouging a massive crater into the earth.
Excruciating pain racked his body. Although the Depravita Aura began mending his flesh in a heartbeat, his limbs were barely responsive.
Gritting his teeth, Cain forced himself to stand, gripping his weapon through sheer grit as he scanned the area for the Ancient One.
"BOOOM!"
Before he could locate his foe, a heavy blow landed in Cain’s midsection. The force made it feel as if his internal organs were being shredded. Just as he was about to be sent flying into the air, a hand clamped onto his leg and smashed him back into the ground with bone-breaking strength.
Every bone in his body rattled as the Scarlet King coughed up mouthfuls of crimson blood.
The trauma was so extreme that his vision began to fade.
Yet Cain would not surrender.
Contorting his body, he launched a kick with his free leg. Unfortunately, the strike never reached the Ancient One’s head.
Releasing Cain’s leg, the Ancient One grabbed him by the face and slammed him into the earth once more. The Scarlet King felt the weight of the entire world pressing against his skull, a pressure so immense it threatened to shatter his head at any moment.
Even with the regenerative properties of the Depravita Aura, such a force could be terminal.
To make matters worse, the impact carried a potent sealing energy that stifled Cain’s ability to retaliate, pinning him down.
The Ancient One looked down at him with icy indifference, showing not a shred of compassion.
"I will tell you once," he declared, his voice completely hollow of emotion. "Submit, and you will not only live, but you shall rule at my side."
His gaze grew even more menacing.
"But if you persist in your refusal, I promise you—I will extinguish your True Name this very moment."
