“You people aren't worth the effort. Not by a long shot.”
His freezing voice seemed to possess a strange magic as it vibrated through the banquet hall.
The bodyguard whose hand was trapped stood frozen for a second. Recovering, he drew a dagger from his belt and stabbed at Ye Chen! Simultaneously, he shouted to his peers, “The target is tricky! Everyone, attack together!”
