The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System Chapter 910 - War

After a little over an hour of playing, Qingyi finally let himself fall onto the gigantic bed, his relaxed body slowly sinking into the soft sheets.
Lingxi was resting on his chest, the adorable little baby clinging possessively to her father's clothes with her chubby little hands, as if she feared he would disappear the moment she let go.
Her breath came in light, rhythmic gasps, and a sweet little smile played at the corners of her pink lips.
Qingyi was smiling too, gently stroking his daughter's tiny back with his fingertips, while Rouxi, lying beside him, slowly ran her hand through the little girl's silky strands of hair.
The other women had left some time ago, granting them a moment of privacy.
"She's growing up so well…" Rouxi murmured, her voice overflowing with maternal love as she watched their sleeping daughter.
"Yes," Qingyi agreed with a soft chuckle. "I want to take her to see the capital soon; I think she'll love the huge buildings."
"Knowing her, she'll love anything new, fufufu~" Rouxi let out an amused chuckle. "Just yesterday she was playing in the cockpit of your ship and, somehow, managed to take off all by herself. Celestia was there and nearly had a heart attack."
Hearing that, Qingyi let out a low chuckle, careful not to wake the little one sleeping on his chest. "I'll buy a new ship soon and let her play to her heart's content."
"Hm." Rouxi nodded with a soft nasal sound, before something suddenly seemed to occur to her.
"You haven't forgotten about Ma Zhenwu, have you? That sect leader was more than eager to marry you off to his granddaughter. I've heard she's from the Divine Maiden Sect, one of the sects with the most beautiful women in all of Celestial Heaven." Rouxi narrowed her eyes, a mischievous glint dancing in them as a somewhat awkward expression crept across Qingyi's face.
"I… well… I'll talk to Ma Zhenwu when I get the chance." He looked away, clearing his throat discreetly. "There's going to be a major competition among demonic forces; she'll probably take part."
Qingyi's voice had barely finished echoing when a soft, disgruntled little grunt vibrated against his chest. Lingxi opened her large, round, purple eyes, blinking slowly and heavily against the light.
Her little expression was sleepy and somewhat grumpy, her tiny eyebrows furrowed into an adorable pout.
"Shu up, Daddy!" she commanded, giving her father a clumsy little pat on the face with her chubby little hand.
The handsome young man froze for a moment, his eyes wide with surprise, before bursting into stifled laughter.
Rouxi couldn't help herself and laughed along, covering her mouth with her hand.
Well, he had indeed been speaking loudly with her sleeping right there on his chest, so it really was his fault.
With a tender smile, he turned carefully, passing Lingxi over to Rouxi's chest, his movements gentle and measured so as not to disturb the baby.
He didn't leave right away; he waited until Lingxi's breathing returned to the calm rhythm of deep sleep, and only then, with a slight nod to Rouxi, did he leave the world of the mind.
Yuehan followed him a few moments later.
"Father is already awake… it's a good time for you to see him, don't you think?" Yuehan remarked, her voice as sweet and soft as ever.
"Yes," Qingyi nodded, offering his arm to her with a gentle smile.
Yuehan hesitated for a brief moment, her fingers suspended uncertainly in the air, but in the end she moved her own arm forward.
She linked it with his, hiding the sweet blush that had colored her cheeks as, together, they left the Mind Room.
They had barely taken a few steps before the space ahead of them warped, the air tearing open in a silvery flash that revealed the imposing figure of Long Tianjin.
Yuehan shuddered, instinct almost making her pull her hand back, but she resisted at the last moment, her cheeks burning as she kept her arm firmly linked with Qingyi's.
"Long Qingyi, young Miss Yuehan," Tianjin greeted, a gentle smile on his lips.
Of course, he hadn't failed to notice the two of them with their arms linked like that, and a discreet sigh escaped him.
Being young really was a blessing.
"L-Lord Tianjin, how can we help you?" Yuehan asked, trying to maintain her composure despite her embarrassment.
Tianjin regained his focus immediately, waving his hand in a brusque gesture.
In the next instant, an item emerged from his spatial ring: a scroll tied with a scarlet ribbon.
Yuehan took the scroll first, unrolling it with curiosity. The very first lines were enough to make her fingers tighten, a cold shudder running down her spine.
"Ah… that damned pig! Does he really want to take it this far?" Yuehan clenched her teeth, her voice low and sharp as she handed the scroll to Qingyi.
The young dragon scanned the lines, a cold gleam flashing in his eyes.
While Yuehan and Tianjin trembled with pent-up rage, he could only manage a radiant smile.
Tianjin naturally noticed the reaction, and a weary sigh escaped him.
"Black dragons are black dragons, after all," he said, shaking his head. "But this is going to be a difficult battle. The Heavenly Demon wouldn't make a proposal like this without being absolutely certain of victory. He'll do anything to kill you."
"It doesn't matter," Qingyi replied, nodding with conviction. "Unless he decides to join the battle himself, and as long as all enemies are limited to the Realm of the Star Sovereign, my victory is guaranteed."
"Good, then," Tianjin smiled approvingly.
He didn't doubt Qingyi's words, but there was still one problem hanging in the air.
He simply didn't trust the Heavenly Demon.
For that accursed demon, killing Qingyi was certainly an absolute priority.
He wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice the entire prestige of the demonic faction to achieve his goal, going so far as to infiltrate even a Celestial Emperor into the battle, or resort to forbidden talismans.
'Unless that accursed one has a hidden plan, he must be plotting something,' Tianjin thought, clenching his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white.
"Preparations for war will begin shortly and must be complete in three months at the latest. I will send out a summons to all the young geniuses in the Stellar Sovereign Realm of the Orthodox World."
"We cannot lose this war," Tianjin declared, turning his back on the two of them.
"Young Lady Yuehan, I have full confidence that you will train Qingyi properly, correct?" he called over his shoulder.
"Yes!" Yuehan declared firmly, though a slight blush had once again risen to her cheeks.
Tianjin's words didn't really carry that kind of ulterior motive, but well, she was young.
She couldn't help the blush that spread across her face as she imagined just how, well, "unique" Qingyi's training sessions with his wives apparently were.
