Su Changfeng confronts Elder Yin about Tuo Shi's decline and his ambition to unite the pavilions. Later, Su Changfeng and Chen Qingqing enter the Forbidden Land's Outer Domain, despite warnings from Elder Wu and the assembled masters. Meanwhile, Elder Wu warns Elder Yin about his daughter Yin Lulu's potentially dangerous actions, which could provoke Su Changfeng.

Within the Space Tunnel, Su Changfeng endured immense pressure, feeling as if he were being squeezed. Suddenly, the oppressive force vanished, and before he could even breathe, he lost consciousness.

Upon regaining his senses, he found himself in an entirely new setting. He was clad in a vibrant red robe, an auspicious garment quite unlike modern attire, giving the distinct impression of having traveled back in time.

A tall bronze mirror stood nearby. Approaching it with a frown, Su Changfeng clearly saw that his clothing resembled that of ancient wedding garments.

Briefly stunned, Su Changfeng struggled to comprehend his situation. Just as he was about to leave the room to seek answers, the door was abruptly flung open, revealing a woman adorned in a phoenix crown and wedding dress.

The woman's eyes widened in surprise upon seeing Su Changfeng, but this quickly gave way to intense fury.

"You're awake? You actually woke up!" she exclaimed, glaring at Su Changfeng with venom, her expression conveying an urge to tear him limb from limb.

Su Changfeng remained bewildered. He vaguely surmised he had been transported to an Outer Domain, but the reasons for his current circumstances—being in this room, dressed in wedding attire, and facing a woman consumed by rage—were entirely beyond him.

"Who are you?" Su Changfeng inquired, observing her closely.

Without a direct answer, the woman approached and struck him. Su Changfeng recoiled, his confusion deepening. The sheer hatred etched on her face made him suspect he might have inadvertently offended her; otherwise, what could possibly explain this scenario?

"I only needed a useless person; who allowed you to wake up?" the woman spat through gritted teeth, clearly finding his revival utterly unacceptable.

She moved to strike him again, but Su Changfeng swiftly intercepted her hand.

He was not one to passively endure mistreatment. Though he still lacked understanding, he refused to simply stand and be assaulted.

Despite the woman's striking beauty, Su Changfeng's heart was already claimed, and he would not permit such reckless behavior.

"Where is this place, and why am I dressed like this? Who are you?" Su Changfeng demanded.

The woman struggled to free herself, surprised by his unexpected strength, a flicker of thought crossing her mind.

"Listen to me, stay here obediently. You are not permitted to go anywhere without my consent! If you disobey, I will certainly not forgive you!" the woman declared imperiously.

"Very well, I promise. But you must tell me where this is, and why I am dressed this way?" Su Changfeng countered.

"Let go. Someone will inform you shortly about what you need to do during this time," the woman stated.

Su Changfeng released her, and the woman departed without a backward glance.

Examining his reflection in the mirror, Su Changfeng felt a growing sense of unease. These garments clearly indicated a wedding. But why would he be getting married immediately after arriving?

Furthermore, he had only just awakened. What events had transpired prior to his arrival? How had he ended up here so suddenly?

Before any answers could surface, a barrage of questions overwhelmed Su Changfeng. Just then, he heard footsteps approaching, and the door opened once more. This time, a maid, also in period attire, entered.

"Miss sent me. If you have questions, feel free to ask," the maid informed him.

Observing their clothing, Su Changfeng couldn't help but suspect this land bore a resemblance to ancient times, similar to his own world. The thought sparked his curiosity about the world beyond this room.

However, with so much uncertainty, Su Changfeng resolved against hasty actions. This place was entirely unknown, and any misstep could lead to grave danger.

"How long was I unconscious?" Su Changfeng inquired tentatively.

"Three months," the maid replied.

"What? Three months!" Su Changfeng exclaimed, his eyes wide with disbelief. Three months felt like mere days to him. It was inconceivable!

"Miss originally believed you would never awaken," the maid explained.

Su Changfeng took several deep breaths to steady himself from the shock, then asked, "Why am I dressed like this?"

"Today is your wedding day with miss," the maid stated plainly.

Su Changfeng paused, stunned. His guess had been correct; it was indeed a wedding day.

Yet, he couldn't fathom it. Was there something wrong with her? Why would she agree to marry someone who might never have awakened? Did she possess some hidden agenda?

"Miss believed I would never wake up, correct? Then why would she agree to marry me?" Su Changfeng asked, utterly perplexed.

The maid stated impassively, "Compared to marrying someone she dislikes, my young miss would prefer someone like you, whom she considers useless."

Su Changfeng's mouth twitched. What kind of convoluted reasoning was that? However, grasping her words, he started to comprehend that this woman was clearly employing him as a diversion, and the objective was straightforward.

It was akin to those dramatic tales where, facing an arranged marriage by parents or elders, the protagonist devises a peculiar plan.

This realization struck Su Changfeng, and he suddenly clutched his head, feigning a look of severe pain.

"Ow, my head hurts so much!" he exclaimed.

The maid remained unfazed. Given that her young miss would have preferred him dead rather than awake, Su Changfeng's discomfort was of no consequence to her.

"I… I think I've forgotten many things. Could you tell me where you found me? And what is this place?" Su Changfeng inquired.

"This is Tianshui City, the Shen Family residence," the maid replied, having received instructions from her young miss to answer Su Changfeng's questions.

"You were discovered outside Tianshui City, looking quite disheveled and unconscious since that time."

"Was there anyone else with me?" Su Changfeng persisted.

"No," the maid answered.

No one else? Then where was Chen Qingqing? Could it be that they were separated upon reaching the Outer Domain, having not been together in the Space Tunnel?

Contemplating this possibility, Su Changfeng could not help but feel a surge of anxiety. Chen Qingqing was, after all, a young woman, and he had no clue how she was faring.

"Do you have any further questions?" the maid inquired, noticing Su Changfeng's silent frown.

"No more. You may leave. My head still aches somewhat, and I wish to rest," Su Changfeng stated.

The maid nodded, uttered no further words, and departed the room.
