Su Changfeng insists on returning to the Infinite Cave, despite objections from Elder Wu and Yin Zhengyuan. Su Changfeng easily repels an attack from Yin Zhengyuan, shocking everyone with his vastly improved strength, which now rivals top experts. Elder Wu and Yin Zhengyuan ponder Su Changfeng's seemingly reckless decision, but Elder Wu ultimately decides to trust him, believing he has a plan. Meanwhile, Su Changfeng reveals to Chen Qingqing that his true intention is to retrieve a small snake he left behind in the Infinite Cave before he departs for the Outer Domain.

"Brother Changfeng, are you certain you wish to bring it along? What if it turns on you and causes harm?" Chen Qingqing voiced her concern.

Su Changfeng had indeed pondered this possibility, yet an inexplicable intuition suggested the little snake harbored no malicious intent towards him. Furthermore, his intention was to take the snake into the Outer Domain; should it betray him, the Outer Domain would face the consequences.

"We are unfamiliar with the circumstances in the Outer Domain. If it is willing to lend its aid, it could prove to be a valuable asset. Therefore, there's no harm in giving it a chance," Su Changfeng explained.

Despite her lingering worry, Chen Qingqing did not stand in his way, especially after Su Changfeng had spoken. Her faith in his judgment was unwavering.

A shared glance passed between them, and without further hesitation, they stepped into the Infinite Cave.

Shortly after their entry, Guan Shan materialized at the very spot they had vacated, his expression one of extreme gravity.

Once held in high regard and the object of envy for many within Tuo Shi, Guan Shan had always possessed a proud demeanor. However, with Su Changfeng's emergence, all attention shifted, leaving Guan Shan, the once-celebrated 'son of heaven,' feeling like a mere footnote.

Though resentment simmered within him, Guan Shan found himself powerless. Su Changfeng's achievements were undeniable, feats far beyond his own capabilities.

Over the years, numerous members of Tuo Shi had met their demise within the Infinite Cave. Guan Shan had often yearned to prove his mettle but was paralyzed by the fear of perishing. Not everyone possessed the fortitude to confront death. Consequently, he remained stagnant at the Earth Level for years, never daring to brave the Infinite Cave's trial.

"Guan Shan, you were once hailed as the 'son of heaven,' yet before Su Changfeng, what are you now? He ventures into the Infinite Cave once more, while you can only observe from the periphery. How utterly pathetic you are," Yin Lulu appeared seemingly out of nowhere, her tone laced with mockery as she addressed Guan Shan.

Guan Shan turned, his face hardening. "Yin Lulu, it appears you've advanced to Yellow Level. Are you even permitted to be here?"

By the established rules, as the daughter of Yin Zhengyuan, she should not have been present. Yet, her insistence on attending meant no one dared to intervene. After all, offending Yin Zhengyuan over such a minor issue was hardly worthwhile.

Yin Lulu's primary reason for appearing was to ascertain if Su Changfeng was genuinely entering the Infinite Cave.

Initially, she suspected Su Changfeng was merely seeking attention, a ploy to forge a name for himself.

Alternatively, she considered the possibility that Shangyun Pavilion had orchestrated this spectacle to enhance its reputation and undermine Lingxiao Pavilion. However, to her astonishment, Su Changfeng had, in fact, entered.

"Guan Shan, while I may lack the proper standing, what about you? What use are your qualifications if you lack the courage to enter? In that regard, we are alike. By what right do you judge me? If you are so competent, why not challenge Su Changfeng yourself?" Yin Lulu retorted with disdain.

"Yin Lulu, your apparent shift in perspective regarding Su Changfeng is rather surprising. The confident, proud Yin Lulu reconsidering someone she once scorned," Guan Shan remarked with a sneer.

"Nonsense!" Yin Lulu declared dismissively. "Changed my view of him? Hardly! In my eyes, he remains that worthless individual!"

Guan Shan couldn't help but let out a laugh at her words.

Worthless? Does such a person truly exist?

In a mere span of over a month, he had ascended from the lowest rung of the Yellow Level to the ranks of a Heavenly Level expert, even daring to re-enter the formidable Infinite Cave. Yet, in the eyes of the haughty Yin Lulu, he was still insignificant? Could there be anything more absurd?

"Yin Lulu, if he is considered worthless, then what does that designation make you?" Guan Shan challenged.

Yin Lulu's expression darkened, and she cast a mocking gaze at Guan Shan. "Ever since Su Changfeng's arrival, has anyone remembered you, the former 'son of heaven'? You certainly possess a broad mind, defending him so readily. It seems you've been so utterly demoralized by him that you're incapable of even a retort."

"If one cannot match another's strength, what purpose does arguing serve?" Despite his internal reluctance, Guan Shan could not refute the prowess Su Changfeng had demonstrably displayed.

He understood that strength was the ultimate arbiter. Only the weak resorted to eloquent arguments. To reclaim his standing within Tuo Shi, he needed to prove himself through sheer might, a feat he was currently incapable of achieving.

Yin Lulu had not anticipated such a response from Guan Shan, and it caught her off guard. Her intention had been to form an alliance with Guan Shan to continue their opposition to Su Changfeng, but given Guan Shan's current disposition, he was unlikely to agree.

"Are you simply going to let him be?" Yin Lulu inquired, probing further.

"Yin Lulu, you ought to behave yourself. Facing insurmountable strength, any trickery will only lead to your own downfall, unless you possess the power to overcome him. You must realize that it's not only Elder Wu who holds Su Changfeng in high regard, but your father does as well," Guan Shan stated.

Yin Lulu was taken aback. For years, Shangyun Pavilion and Lingxiao Pavilion had been at odds, and now, even her own father favored Su Changfeng?

"Guan Shan, I am not like you. I refuse to accept my fate so passively. Mark my words, I will personally eliminate Su Changfeng one day," Yin Lulu declared through gritted teeth.

Guan Shan let out an indifferent chuckle, finding Yin Lulu's VOWs to be rather amusing.

Eliminate Su Changfeng?

Who did she believe she was?

Did she think her mere Yellow Level skills were enough? Or perhaps her status as the daughter of the Lingxiao Pavilion Squad Leader?

"Do as you please. I am going to train. Take care of yourself." With that, Guan Shan departed without further ado.

Left alone, Yin Lulu glared fiercely at the entrance of the Infinite Cave, her heart churning with resentment. Su Changfeng, Su Changfeng!

Had it not been for him, she would not have descended into such a pitiful state. Without him, she would never have endured such profound humiliation.

In the eyes of this proud, high-and-mighty young woman, the more formidable Su Changfeng's achievements, the deeper her shame and the more incandescent her rage became.

Regardless of Su Changfeng's prowess, she held an unshakeable conviction that she would one day crush him beneath her heel.

This certainty stemmed from her identity as the daughter of the Lingxiao Pavilion Squad Leader – an undeniable status that the insignificant Su Changfeng could never hope to attain.

"Su Changfeng, my associates will soon make their way to Jiang City. If you wish for their safety, you will have to grovel at my feet and beg for mercy."

Meanwhile, within the depths of the Infinite Cave.

Upon re-entering the Infinite Cave, Su Changfeng and Chen Qingqing experienced a palpable shift in their surroundings. A sense of fearlessness replaced their previous apprehension, for with the small snake in their company, those perilous creatures dared not show themselves.

However, Su Changfeng's perception of the little snake had evolved. Yang Junming had explicitly stated that within the Infinite Cave, the White Jade Python possessed unparalleled lethality. Yet, as Su Changfeng observed the diminutive creature closely, he could discern nothing that hinted at its extraordinary nature.
