Su Changfeng's plans are disrupted as he insists on heading to the dangerous Outer Domain. Elder Wu worries about losing such a promising talent, but his assistant notes Su Changfeng's resolve. Meanwhile, Guan Shan's reputation has faded significantly with Su Changfeng's rise. Upon his return, Su Changfeng shocks everyone by announcing his intention to re-enter the perilous Infinite Cave, despite Elder Wu's strong objections.

"Calm yourself! You believe you can simply dictate what happens within that place? Su Changfeng, what exactly is on your mind?" Elder Wu directed his words at Su Changfeng, his aged face flushed with a surge of emotion.

Su Changfeng, with a gesture of helplessness, spread his hands.

Just then, Yin Zhengyuan arrived, his pace quickening upon spotting Su Changfeng.

"What are you thinking? Everything was proceeding smoothly, so why the sudden urge to head to the Infinite Cave? Do you imagine you can waltz in and out as you please?" Yin Zhengyuan’s gaze was fixed on Su Changfeng, irritation evident in his tone.

"Elder Yin, this matter appears to be within the purview of Shangyun Pavilion. What concern is it of your Lingxiao Pavilion?" Su Changfeng inquired.

Yin Zhengyuan shot a stern look at Elder Wu. "Are you simply going to stand by and watch him cause trouble? The Infinite Cave – do I really need to remind you of the nature of that place?"

Before Elder Wu could offer a response, Su Changfeng interjected, "This time, my decision is final. No one can prevent me from going, not even you."

"You insolent whelp, do you truly possess the audacity to defy us?" Yin Zhengyuan’s expression turned grim.

As Su Changfeng began to move towards the exit, Yin Zhengyuan promptly stepped in his path, blocking his way.

Without hesitation, Su Changfeng unleashed a punch.

Yin Zhengyuan responded with a faint smile. "Your arrogance is astounding. While you are indeed a Heavenly Level expert, I hold the position of Squad Leader in Lingxiao Pavilion, and my strength far surpasses that of the top ten experts. Do you genuinely believe anyone can simply lay a hand on me?"

The instant Yin Zhengyuan finished speaking, Su Changfeng’s fist descended with formidable force.

Concurrently, Yin Zhengyuan calmly raised his right hand, intending to repel Su Changfeng with ease.

The next moment, their fists met. Yin Zhengyuan was propelled backward several involuntary steps, while Su Changfeng remained firmly planted, as if his feet were fused to the ground.

For a brief, suspended moment, silence descended upon Shangyun Pavilion, the passage of time seeming to halt.

Elder Wu and his attendant were left utterly dumbfounded, their faces etched with a shock that seemed to freeze them in place.

As for Yin Zhengyuan, his expression was one of utter disbelief.

Could it be that Su Changfeng’s single punch had actually forced him back? How was this even conceivable?

Yet, his right hand continued to tremble uncontrollably, and beneath the surface, a torrent of shock coursed through him.

Although he acknowledged he hadn't exerted his full power, in his estimation, intercepting Su Changfeng’s blow should have been a trivial matter.

Nevertheless, the reality confronting him was undeniable. Not only had he failed to halt Su Changfeng’s momentum, but he himself had been forced to retreat several steps.

"As I stated quite clearly, none of you possess the ability to stop me," Su Changfeng declared in a calm tone.

Observing Su Changfeng continuing his steady stride away, Elder Wu’s breathing grew noticeably more rapid.

He had always been aware of Su Changfeng’s swift progression in cultivation, but he had never fathomed that his strength would reach such a peak, one capable of matching Yin Zhengyuan.

Beyond the Tuo Shi’s Heaven, Earth, Xuan, and Huang rankings, there existed the elite group of top ten experts, whose might inherently eclipsed that of any Heavenly Level cultivator. Both Elder Wu and Yin Zhengyuan were known to possess strength far exceeding even these top ten.

The display Su Changfeng had just exhibited unequivocally indicated that his current might was indeed comparable to, if not superior to, the top ten experts. Elder Wu found this realization almost impossible to accept.

To think, Su Changfeng had only been present for less than a single month!

How could such a rapid ascent be possible?

Hurrying over to Yin Zhengyuan, Elder Wu inquired with genuine seriousness, "Exactly how much force did you employ in that exchange?"

"Fifty percent," Yin Zhengyuan replied, his expression unreadable.

"Be truthful," Elder Wu urged, feeling little patience for evasiveness.

"Eighty percent." Yin Zhengyuan practically spat the words out, his evident displeasure palpable.

Elder Wu inhaled sharply. Eighty percent of Yin Zhengyuan’s power was a force that ordinary experts simply could not withstand, yet it had failed to impede Su Changfeng, even forcing a retreat.

He suspected that perhaps, even if Yin Zhengyuan had unleashed his full strength, he might not have been able to endure a single strike from Su Changfeng. This realization brought a complex mix of emotions to Elder Wu.

"This brat is an utter anomaly!" Yin Zhengyuan was clearly shaken, his years of confidence in his own strength momentarily faltering as he questioned his previous assessments.

Elder Wu’s breathing was heavy. After several deep breaths, he spoke, his voice measured. "It appears my earlier assessment was correct. The future of Tuo Shi, and perhaps even the fate of the world, may indeed rest upon his shoulders."

"But he’s acting so recklessly! He’ll undoubtedly face the consequences! We both understand the perilous nature of the Infinite Cave. Isn’t he essentially walking to his own demise?" Yin Zhengyuan countered, his concern evident.

Elder Wu genuinely did not wish for Su Changfeng to court such danger in the Infinite Cave. However, given the recent turn of events, a flicker of uncertainty now clouded his judgment. He stated solemnly, "Since he has resolved to go, he must possess considerable confidence. While I cannot fathom his exact reasoning, I am inclined to place my trust in him."

Was Su Changfeng's action driven by impulse? Had his arrogance truly stripped him of all fear?

He genuinely didn't think so.

The significance of Shen Hanxue and Ye Nianhai to Su Changfeng was something he grasped completely. This man, who appeared to be a stranger to fear, held his own life as incredibly precious, primarily because he had no desire to abandon his wife and children. Thus, rash actions would be out of the question for him.

Consequently, if he was set on proceeding with this plan, he undoubtedly had his underlying reasons.

At this juncture, Chen Qingqing, who had been awaiting him outside, let out a laugh and inquired of Su Changfeng, "Brother Changfeng, you are truly incredible! Yin Zhengyuan holds the position of Squad Leader in the Lingxiao Pavilion, and yet you managed to force him back. Just how much power did you exert in that exchange?"

A smile played on Su Changfeng's lips as he responded, "Eighty percent."

"You aren't jesting with me, are you?" Chen Qingqing looked at Su Changfeng with a hint of doubt.

Su Changfeng offered a slightly strained smile, posing a question, "Would it be too much if I told you I only utilized fifty percent of my strength?"

Chen Qingqing could no longer contain her mirth and exclaimed, "What's too much about that? However, if Yin Zhengyuan were privy to this fact, he would likely be utterly crushed. If you could overpower him with merely fifty percent, imagine what your full strength would do – wouldn't he be completely annihilated?"

"You speak the truth, but it is always best to maintain a degree of humility. Furthermore, given his standing as the Squad Leader of the Lingxiao Pavilion, a certain level of respect is certainly warranted," Su Changfeng stated with a subtle grin.

Chen Qingqing nodded in agreement, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

It was fortunate that this particular exchange was kept private. Had Elder Wu and the others overheard such a conversation, it was anyone's guess how they might react.

Su Changfeng and Chen Qingqing subsequently made their way back to the entrance of the Infinite Cave. The inhabitants of Tuo Shi found themselves bewildered by Su Changfeng's insistence on challenging the Infinite Cave once more, but Chen Qingqing understood his motivations from within.

Earlier, within the confines of the Infinite Cave, a small serpent had shown a marked desire to accompany Su Changfeng upon his departure. However, he had harbored concerns that bringing it along might lead to unfavorable consequences, and therefore, he had not consented.

The circumstances, however, had shifted dramatically. Su Changfeng was now on the cusp of venturing into the Outer Domain, and his decision to revisit the cave was unmistakably a preparatory step to ensure the little serpent could accompany him on this significant journey.
