Ye Shikai and his team are in pursuit of Doris, who is believed to be involved with the dangerous HST project that creates mutants. Despite the damage to the Sea King Palace, Doris has escaped, and her current whereabouts are unknown. Ye Shikai is determined to find the secret base for the HST project to prevent further harm, and he mobilizes all available forces for the chase, while also tending to the many wounded soldiers. News finally arrives that Doris has been spotted fifty miles southeast, possibly heading towards the HST project base with a dozen mutants in tow.

The off-road vehicle is equipped with communication devices, which can be used now. Ye Shikai has already instructed Nightmare, who is closest, to rush there immediately for constant surveillance. At the moment, Doris probably doesn’t know she’s being tracked.

"Nightmare, what’s the status now?" Ye Shikai asked.

"Doris and the mutants are moving southeast," Nightmare reported via the communicator.

"Alright, keep your eyes on her—don’t let her slip away. Also, have the nearby Three Temples members converge on you immediately." Ye Shikai plans to form a large net with a sea of people, making it impossible for Doris to escape. Moreover, if Ji Qian’s hypothesis is correct, following Doris will lead them to the HST project base to take it down in one fell swoop.

"Alright, I’ll command right away; she definitely won’t escape this time."

"Qian, I think if all goes well, we might catch up by late night. If things are as you said, we can take down both Doris and the base for the HST project. If we don’t find the base, we still have to eliminate Doris—otherwise, there will be endless trouble." Ye Shikai continued, "It definitely will be a big battle."

"I understand." Ji Qian was also ready for battle; almost everyone in the camp capable of fighting was gathered, concentrating on this area. Additionally, some people from Europe, Africa, and elsewhere have already gathered in South America, summoned by the Three Temples. Today’s fierce battle with the mutants will surely spill the secret about them, and at this moment, news about the mutants must have spread throughout the Underworld, growing more exaggerated and terrifying. But what Ye Shikai didn’t expect was that so many people would come—all eager for bounty money. But that doesn’t matter; the Three Temples aren’t short of money anyway.

"Notify the people coming from Europe and Africa to concentrate near my location immediately. Remember to keep it confidential; anyone who leaks information will face my wrath," Ye Shikai commanded.

"Yes, Boss." Ghost nodded in agreement.

"Double the bounty—if anyone can take Doris’s life, the reward is four billion."

"Alright."

"We’ve got a lot of people outside now; I’m going to lay an impenetrable trap for Doris, leaving her nowhere to escape."

Ring, ring.

At this moment, Ye Shikai’s private phone rang; he checked and saw the caller was Tianjing. The National Security Bureau already knew about the events here, but they aren’t concerned with the chaos among the Main Gods; their interest remains in the mutants.

"Hello, Tianjing."

"Mr. Ye, where are you now?" Tianjing got straight to the point, sounding rushed.

"If I’m not mistaken, you should have arrived in South America by now." Ye Shikai stated calmly. It’s been over seven hours since they were notified about the Divine Weapon Special Group until now, from leaving Yanjing to flying to South America—it almost takes half a day. It seems they really are in a rush.

"We’ve been investigating news about mutants for months; hearing they showed up in South America, of course, we had to come over."

"Alright, I’ll send you the location right away; hurry up. Also, I need to remind you, the number of mutants has grown significantly." With that said, Ye Shikai hung up. He needed to alert Tianjing that they’re not in Huaxia but South America, facing several challenges and numerous dangers.

Half an hour later.

Ye Shikai led the team to the location Nightmare mentioned, just a few miles behind Doris.

"Sir, they’re only a dozen mutants now; should we attack together? With you and Lord War God here, it’ll be impossible for Doris to escape." Nightmare suggested.

"Not for now, don’t do anything rash—I don’t want to startle the snake."

"Understood."

Ye Shikai pulled out his phone and dialed Worm’s number.

"Boss."

"So, did you find anything?"

"Tracking Doris’s current path, we indeed found an abandoned ’base’; it used to be a half-completed building. Technically, it’s not just one building but dozens. No one lives near there, and it hasn’t been dealt with for a long time. I’ll send you the photos right away." Worm explained.

"As expected." Everything aligned with Ji Qian’s prediction—that location is likely the base for the HST project.

"Boss, what do we do now?" Ghost asked.

"Notify everyone we can mobilize to gather around me immediately." Ye Shikai had resolved to eliminate these two major threats today, while Ji Qian stood by with a somewhat solemn look of unease but said nothing further. It’s a golden opportunity, albeit a bit abrupt, but they can’t let it slip by.

"At this distance, Doris is about an hour away from the base. Once she arrives, everyone should surround the area immediately—not letting anyone escape."

"Understood."

..................

One hour later.

"Sir, Doris has entered the base. We’ve detected high activity levels there; it seems the place has been transformed despite appearing as half-completed buildings."

"Alright, let’s get out and surround them." At Ye Shikai’s command, thousands mobilized, sealing off the area completely. If all goes as expected, Doris will undoubtedly notice the commotion outside; she won’t just sit idly, and there’s certainly mutants inside the HST project base.

"Old Ye, when do we rush in there?" Wang Kai asked eagerly.

"Let’s delay a bit longer." Ye Shikai worried it might be another of Doris’s traps, though they’re now surrounded by Three Temples members. The only unknown variables are the mutants inside—their numbers and combat strength remain uncertain. If they charge in recklessly only to find an overwhelming mutant presence, it would be a massacre.

"Here’s my idea: I’ll take Nightmare and the others—it’s worth checking out first. You should wait outside." Ye Shikai ordered.

"No." Ji Qian immediately objected, "It’s too dangerous for just a few of you; send a squad instead."

"Enough, don’t argue—they aren’t a match for the mutants. Old Wang, Nightmare, Soul Destroyer, each of you take a team of Hidden Guards and come with me inside."

"Alright."

"Alright."

"Qian, you should command from outside; this operation was rushed but having you guide us will ease my mind."

"Alright, be careful," Ji Qian agreed, nodding.
