"What’s wrong, got a cold?" Zhang Ting asked curiously.

"Nothing, just sneezed suddenly. Maybe someone is cursing me." Ye Shikai murmured.

"If you really are sick, I’d like to see how you perform tonight." Zhang Ting snorted coldly. She was still mortified about the last time she was captured, so she had been looking for an opportunity to clear that disgrace, and this mission was her chance.

"Alright, just take care of yourself. There might be a fierce battle tonight among cultivators. Stand back so you don’t get hurt." Ye Shikai reminded her. He felt confident about fighting among cultivators. "If I lose, then when the case is solved, you get all the credit. How about that?" Ye Shikai continued, "But if I win, then on all future missions, you’ll have to follow my orders without question. Deal?"

"Deal, I agree." Zhang Ting hesitated but consented. If Huo Hua was indeed there, it would be ideal; capturing him would solve the case, and at worst, she’d follow Ye Shikai’s lead in the future.

"Alright, let’s wait and see."

"Wait a minute, we have so few people—counting those few thugs and that cold-faced woman in the car, we only have a dozen. How can we capture Huo Hua with so little?" Zhang Ting questioned.

"Who said we only have these? Come, I’ll show you our reinforcements."

"Why did you bring me here?" Zhang Ting asked curiously.

"You’re a police officer from Yanjing; this is Hong Kong’s Security Division. It’s ironic that you’re unfamiliar with your colleagues here." Ye Shikai replied.

"But I’ve never been here before."

Ye Shikai led Zhang Ting in, and immediately a police officer came to greet them.

"You must be Instructor Ye and Officer Zhang from Yanjing, right?"

"Yes, indeed."

"Please come with me; Captain Cheng is waiting for you in the conference room."

"Alright."

Ye Shikai and Zhang Ting entered a conference room where a group wearing black battle uniforms was already waiting.

"Instructor Ye, it’s been a long time." The leader was unexpectedly a woman, none other than Cheng Luoqi, the captain of a unit in Hong Kong’s SAD special forces. Ye Shikai once collaborated with her against the Tomb Spirit Organization. Later, she led SAD members to Yanjing for joint training with Dragon Teeth.

"Captain Cheng, we’ll need your help again this time." Ye Shikai smiled wryly, "Let me introduce you to Zhang Ting, from Yanjing; we’re responsible for investigating this case."

"Hey, how did you get SAD to come help?" Zhang Ting asked curiously.

"Actually, as soon as I arrived in Hong Kong, I contacted them. But I had no authority to mobilize them, so I asked Ouyang Feng to do me a favor, letting Dragon Teeth speak on my behalf. Then the Hong Kong Security Division agreed to let SAD join the action." Ye Shikai explained.

"I see, I didn’t expect you to have planned it all out." Zhang Ting said excitedly. Ye Shikai grinned with pride. If it were just a regular missing person’s case, SAD naturally wouldn’t be involved. But this case had snowballed; as the investigation deepened, it was no longer an ordinary missing case. Ye Shikai reported the facts he uncovered, and Dragon Teeth took it seriously.

"Although Huo Hua outwardly seems like a gambler, he has many experts under his command, all cultivators. Honestly, if SAD didn’t help and I relied only on my few people, capturing him would be nearly impossible."

Bang, bang! The SAD members blew open the iron doors at the front of the factory, and the remaining team members entered swiftly.

"Who are you?" The people inside heard the commotion, pulled out guns aimed at the entrance, but it was too late. The SAD team was already inside. They were Hong Kong’s elite; these men were no match for them.

After the shots, people fell, some hit by bullets. They seemed to be Huo Hua’s henchmen, and this abandoned facility was likely where captives were held.

"Let’s go, we should check it out too." Ye Shikai and Cheng Luoqi also entered the factory. His target was Huo Hua, who was a cultivator; SAD might not be able to capture him.
