Lynn oversaw the completion of numerous war machines and the construction of new breeding facilities. He then visited the blacksmith workshop, where he was shown a newly forged, impressive set of armor.

The chest plate, adorned with linear patterns, was broad and etched with intricate, mysterious runes.

Fleeting glimmering lights occasionally danced across the inscriptions.

The shoulder armor, standing tall with gilded designs, boasted a layered texture.

Combined with the elaborately crafted arm and leg guards, the skirt-like armor plates at the waist, and that flowing white cloak...

Even before donning it, Lynn detected a formidable sharpness emanating from the set.

With a mere thought, the armor's status panel materialized before him.

[Rare Spiritual Guardian Armor]: Forged by the Dwarf Master Blacksmith Flint, inscribed with protective magic arrays capable of resisting certain magical assaults. Its exquisite appearance makes it suitable for both combat and defense.

Reading the textual description, Lynn's eyebrows lifted involuntarily.

Spiritual Guardian Armor!

And it was of [Rare] quality!

It was as expected.

Flint's proficiency clearly surpassed the basic introduction provided in the text panel.

Armor of [Rare] tier, Flint casually stated he could forge it!

Observing Lynn's admiration for the armor, Flint felt a swell of pride.

Yet, his words remained composed, "This is the defensive empowerment armor painstakingly crafted by this old man."

"Due to the scarcity of magic ores, it admittedly falls somewhat short compared to the magic armors I've created previously."

"However, for typical skirmishes, this empowerment armor will suffice to shield you from stray arrows and those vermin lurking in the shadows."

Flint's tone shifted as he continued,

"Would you care to try it on? This set was forged using the measurements from last time."

"Should any part feel unsuitable, adjustments can certainly be made."

Lynn nodded, taking a step towards the armor.

Without any explicit command, Red followed closely, ready to assist him in wearing it.

Amidst the crisp chime of metal, the armor components were gradually secured onto him, piece by piece.

Approximately ten minutes later.

Having fully donned the complete armor set, Lynn began to pace within the confines of the empty chamber.

As he moved, Lynn became acutely aware of the armor enveloping him.

The weight of this [Rare Spiritual Guardian Armor] was considerably less than he had anticipated.

Lynn estimated the armor's total weight to be around thirty pounds.

This was not significantly different from the scale armor with a chain liner that Flint had crafted for him previously.

Given his current physical condition, a thirty-pound burden in armor was practically negligible.

With a motion of his right hand, accompanied by the faint friction of metal, Lynn drew the one-handed sword from his hip.

Upon witnessing this, Red and Flint quickly retreated several steps towards the storage area's entrance, ensuring they wouldn't be inadvertently struck by Lynn.

Lynn's right arm moved in continuous arcs, the sword blades slicing through the air with sharp whistling sounds.

The armored figure also rotated in tandem.

After several minutes of swordplay, aside from a minor sensation of encumbrance from the armor, he experienced no other discomfort.

Sheathing the one-handed sword, Lynn offered his assessment, "Master Flint, no further adjustments are required."

"The armor's fit is exceptionally suited to my physique!"

With this set of defensive empowerment armor, complemented by the greatsword Flint had previously forged, and the pure-blooded warhorse Mo Ying transported from the Badan Empire.

Furthermore, if Mo Ying were also equipped with horse armor.

A charge against the enemy would surely be unstoppable!

Hearing Lynn's affirmation, Flint displayed no surprise.

He stated, "Naturally, Master Lynn."

"Given my precision in measurements... unless your body undergoes a dramatic transformation, there will hardly be any deviation!"

Lynn nodded, then turned his gaze towards Red.

Already positioned nearby, Red promptly stepped forward, commencing the process of helping Lynn disarm.

As the helmet was removed, Lynn looked at Flint, who stood opposite him, and inquired,

"Master Flint, would it be feasible to produce such armor on a mass scale?"

Flint's thick eyebrows shot upwards, his voice laced with astonishment as he responded, "Mass production?"

"My Lord, are you jesting?"

Flint elaborated, "Let alone the substantial quantity of magic ores required to forge this armor."

"Simply obtaining high-quality steel alone demanded considerable time and effort on my part."

"Furthermore, apart from this old man, no one within your territory possesses the refined forging skills and the techniques for inscribing magic arrays."

"To even consider large-scale production of defensive empowerment armor is akin to chasing a fantasy!"

Receiving Flint's decisively firm rebuttal, Lynn's expression remained composed.

Even without Flint's explanation, he was fully aware of its impossibility.

If such empowerment armor could indeed be mass-produced.

The warfare landscape of the world would not involve individuals in leather and chain mail, wielding long spears in brutal combat.

Nevertheless.

A sliver of hopeful longing still persisted within him.

After removing all the armor pieces from his body, under the surprised observation of both Flint and Red.

He proceeded to store the entire set of empowerment armor directly into the [backpack].

Exiting the storage area, Lynn strolled through Flint's Blacksmith Workshop.

Observing the apprentices diligently toiling away, Lynn turned to Flint with a question.

"Master Flint, when do you anticipate these blacksmith apprentices will complete their training?"

Flint followed Lynn’s line of sight, his gaze lingering for a moment.

After a brief pause for thought, he responded, "It will take at least another half a year!"
