Lynn observed the orderly progress of his territory, from farming and construction to workshops and resource gathering. He then personally prepared lunch in the cafeteria, gaining cooking experience. Troubled by the heat and smells in the cafeteria, Lynn decided to improve ventilation by installing hydraulic windmills and exhaust fans, and headed to the Handicraft Workshop District to discuss the project with Colin.

"After this period of continuous production."

"Eighty Wolf Fang Clubs equipped with winches, thirty torque catapults, and thirty crossbow cannons have all been delivered to Weng City and mounted on the city walls."

"Their installation and securing are finished, and the soldiers have been instructed on their operation."

Lynn gave a slight nod upon hearing this report.

One hundred and forty formidable machines in total.

Add to that the rolling logs and stones prepared, along with the longbows and crossbows in the soldiers' hands.

Combined with the advantage of the city walls' height.

Even if the enemy boasted several times the number of soldiers, breaching the defenses might prove impossible!

Colin continued, "With the current armaments on the walls and for Weng City, these one hundred and forty large machines are certainly enough."

"However, if we are to await foreman Avery's completion of the outer city, additional large machines will be required for production..."

Lynn replied, "Then you shall continue their production."

"Furthermore, I require you to assign a team from your ranks to collaborate with the blacksmith workshop. Their task will be to construct a water wheel and an exhaust fan for installation within the canteen and kitchen."

"For the water wheel, simply follow the design I previously demonstrated."

"However, a suitable transmission mechanism must be devised to power the exhaust fan, ensuring proper ventilation and air circulation in the canteen and kitchen."

Colin responded with a crisp, "Understood, my lord."

"I shall assign the necessary personnel for this production immediately."

From the initial simple stone mill water wheel, progressing to enhanced versions for forging, powering bellows, and then adaptable designs for pasture irrigation and drinking water...

The sheer volume of water wheels produced by the woodworker workshop was immeasurable.

Selecting a handful of skilled apprentices and assigning a dozen others as assistants.

The creation of a water wheel was no longer an intricate process.

Lynn nodded, issuing the instruction, "Please arrange for their swift commencement."

Having conveyed his orders, Lynn proceeded to conduct a thorough inspection of the woodworker workshop.

Once he confirmed that everything was in order, he departed the workshop, drawing the stares of numerous carpenter apprentices.

The moment he stepped outside, a loud call echoed from a distance.

"My Lord."

Lynn turned and observed.

It was Flint, moving with surprising speed, striding towards him.

Lynn’s brow rose slightly as he inquired of Flint,

"Do you bring auspicious tidings, Mr. Flint?"

Flint’s bushy eyebrows shot upwards, and he replied with a noticeable vein of pride in his voice.

"Indeed, my lord."

"The construction teams have successfully completed the ’Pigeon Nest’ and the ’Wolf’s Den’ as per your directive."

"Yesterday, the small-scale magic arrays within them were also finalized."

"You may now begin enclosing the animals designated for breeding and commence the empowerment process."

Lynn’s eyebrows lifted slightly, a flicker of surprise registering in his mind.

However, upon mature consideration.

Both the ’Pigeon Nest’ and the ’Wolf’s Den’ were relatively modest in scale and complexity.

While his own focus had been concentrated on the winter barley harvest and the accumulation of combat experience.

Finishing the construction of two breeding structures within a single month was certainly an achievable feat.

Lynn nodded appreciatively, stating, "Well done, Mr. Flint."

"I shall honor my promise regarding the gin."

The mere mention of gin caused a distinct spark of eagerness to flash in Flint’s eyes.

Striving to maintain an air of nonchalance, Flint gestured dismissively and added,

"Think nothing of it. There is another matter I must relay!"

"The Defensive Empowerment Armor that I pledged to forge for you has now been completed."

Lynn’s interest was immediately ignited. "Lead me to view it."

Without further ado, Flint turned and proceeded towards the blacksmith workshop.

Even before they reached the entrance, the rhythmic clang of metal striking metal began to reach Lynn’s ears.

With Flint as his guide, and after receiving deferential bows from the blacksmith apprentices, Lynn entered the bustling workshop.

Lynn’s gaze systematically swept across the interior.

He observed.

At the workbenches of these two hundred blacksmith apprentices were sets of partially completed scale armors, complete with chain mail underlayers!

It was evident.

Under Flint’s tutelage, these apprentices had acquired the capability to forge armor independently.

This rapid advancement in the apprentices' forging skills, even more so than the Defensive Empowerment Armor Flint had spoken of, filled Lynn with satisfaction!

Once the scale armors with chain liners on the workbenches were finished.

He could equip this lightweight armor onto soldiers, forming a highly mobile and agile light cavalry force!

Moreover, upon the completion of their current training, these blacksmith apprentices could be strategically redeployed.

Utilizing their newfound expertise as a foundation, more blacksmith teams could be established.

Tasked with crafting superior quality armor and weaponry!

Even the future production of firearms, cannons, and other complex metal implements.

Lynn, still accompanied by Flint, arrived at the finished goods storage area, situated deep within the blacksmith workshop.

Passing through the doorway, they entered a sparsely furnished room.

Lynn's gaze was immediately captivated by the armor, displayed in its entirety from top to bottom.

The illumination within the chamber was rather dim.

Yet, with the meager light that managed to penetrate, the silhouette of the armor was distinctly visible.

Whether it was an effect of the lighting or the visualization of a defensive magic array, one could observe successive flickers of golden radiance.

The helmet, a striking silver-white, was fashioned in the likeness of a mythical beast's skull, adorned with golden scale patterns on its flanks that emitted a sharp, icy glint.

Understanding dawned upon Lynn.

These very golden scale patterns were crafted from the Gold Pounds Flint that he had previously been asked to provide!

Intended for clarity of vision while maintaining protection, the helmet featured slitted eye openings.
