Supremacy Games Chapter 1956 Karma Never Arrived Fast Enough...

Previously on Supremacy Games...
Kronos, having erased his memories, remained sealed in the Imprisonment Grounds under the guidance of the stars, awaiting a significant event. Meanwhile, Felix and his clan ventured to an enormous planet, only to encounter a catastrophic trap that left most of them dead. In a desperate bid for survival, Felix detonated himself to thwart Zion's attempt to possess him. This explosive act triggered Kronos to manipulate space-time, merging their souls and sending them twenty years into the past, all while stirring uncertainty among the rulers watching from afar.

1956 Karma Never Arrived Fast Enough...

Returning to the Original Timeline...

Empress Emily and the assembled sovereigns waited with visible eagerness for Felix to return from the most recent universe.

Compared to the other aspirants, they had been tracking Felix's trek through the various timelines with much greater scrutiny.

Roughly 80% of the other contenders had already abandoned the race, having succumbed to the realization that these trials were virtually impossible to overcome.

Only Emilia and a small handful of others remained, though they displayed only modest signs of advancement.

In stark contrast, Felix's development was nothing short of explosive, as he successfully navigated many of the hurdles that had crippled his peers.

Because of the pact he had struck with Empress Emily to safeguard his data, his progress remained entirely shielded from those who might try to exploit it.

Whoosh!!

"He’s back! However, I don't believe he was successful..." the Queen of the Witch Empire whispered, observing Felix slumped on his knees with a look of pure shock.

Sensing the frantic rhythm of his heartbeat, Empress Emily immediately understood that a traumatic event must have transpired on the other side.

Rather than peering into his mind right away, she forced him into unconsciousness to protect his psyche. She then shifted him into a medical pod, deciding to leave him there until the events of the other timeline were fully understood.

Once Queen Ai had retrieved and processed Felix's most recent memories, she projected the key moments onto a holographic display for the ten sovereigns to witness.

The screen sparked to life, revealing a teenage Felix whose physical form and spirit had been rejuvenated by his union with Zion.

Their initial encounter had been turbulent, but after recognizing that their fates were intertwined unless they collaborated, they formed a pact with two specific objectives: Zion's liberation and the enhancement of Felix's power, as the latter refused to live as a failure ever again.

Utilizing the knowledge from his past, Felix moved to save his grandfather, preserve his family's legacy, and prevent his homeworld from falling under Alexander's tyranny.

Aided by Zion's reality manipulation, Felix's strength surged effortlessly. Zion was able to manifest nearly anything Felix required or craved, albeit within certain constraints.

For instance, when Felix initially struggled to find a suitable bloodline for awakening, Zion utilized his powers to help him harvest the poison primogenitor's bloodline from a simple tier 3 beast.

As Felix’s power grew, so too did Zion's capabilities, fueled by the elemental energy provided to him.

Though it lacked the purity of celestial energy, it served as a significant upgrade.

The rulers watched as Felix's path accelerated at a breathtaking speed. He tore through the rankings of every SG platform, crushed every foe in his way, and evolved into the ultimate version of himself.

It was a transformation that even the sovereigns had deemed impossible.

However, the atmosphere turned tense as Felix reached a stage where he began to topple other races and their monarchs, eventually ascending to the pinnacle of existence.

The Supreme Position!

"Such a terrifying growth rate... It took him less than two centuries to subjugate the Elder Dragon of his realm and seize control."

"It is only logical; he possesses the potential of a celestial, so his progress wouldn't falter until he reached that threshold."

The SGRulers discussed the situation amongst themselves.

Even though Felix's ascent seemed to threaten their own dominance, they knew that such a scenario was impossible in reality.

Within the original timeline, he would either ascend as the Supreme and treat them as his 'progeny' or fail the trial and return to a common life; thus, their status remained secure.

Once Felix had integrated seven primogenitors and reached the level where he needed to match their raw power, only one path remained: becoming a unigin!

Unfortunately, Felix attempted to break through to the origin realm, believing it would suffice, but he was mistaken.

His boundless celestial potential had been extinguished the moment his human integration bloodline was finalized.

While his raw power eclipsed that of a primogenitor, his spiritual pressure could not compete with that of the unigins or celestials.

After spending hundreds of thousands of years scouring the universe for a solution, he realized he had hit a dead end. Conversely, Zion was no closer to his goal of freedom or revenge.

But Felix was powerless.

As much as he wished to assist his companion, his options were exhausted, and even Zion's reality-warping abilities were insufficient.

While Felix began to accept their fate, Zion had other plans. He instructed Felix to accumulate as much elemental energy as possible for one final, desperate gamble.

'If we can amass enough elemental energy, I might be able to channel it all into a single reality shift. I can rewrite existence to send us back to the time before we attempted the origin realm breakthrough,' Zion proposed calmly from within Felix’s consciousness.

'Is such a thing even possible?!' Felix asked, stunned.

'To be honest, I am uncertain, but it is a risk worth taking,' Zion answered evenly.

'At this point, I will try anything.'

For the sake of his partner, Felix did not hesitate to begin his journey anew, fueled by the sincere desire to see Zion free.

After countless years spent doing nothing but draining elemental energy from every corner of the cosmos, Zion finally called an end to it.

'I believe the energy is sufficient,' he stated.

'Then what are we waiting for?' Felix laughed with excitement. 'Take us back.'

He viewed Zion as his closest friend, his comrade, and his brother.

In Felix's mind, their mutual loyalty was strong enough to melt steel.

Sadly, that sentiment was one-sided.

In Zion’s heart, only one thing mattered: vengeance against the three rulers and the unigins for their past transgressions. Nothing else held any weight.

'I am sorry, Felix, but our journey concludes here...' Zion sighed with a hint of frustration. 'I truly wish I had the power to turn back time for both of us, but with this amount of energy... I can only leave you behind.'

"Zion, what are you talking about?" Felix’s joy vanished, replaced by a growing sense of confusion.

"It has been a fascinating trip, and I’ve cherished every second, but my path cannot end here."

As Zion spoke those final words, a sudden surge of heat erupted in Felix's chest. Upon reaching for it, he realized the heat was radiating from his very soul!

An agonizing pain then tore through his body, paralyzing him instantly and locking him in his meditative stance.

Felix immediately plunged into his consciousness space, and the sight that met him shattered his heart.

Zion hovered at the center of the void, wielding his reality-altering powers to rewrite a single fundamental law of existence.

Having seen Zion use his powers countless times, Felix was intimately familiar with the language of his abilities.

After reading the sentence Zion was currently editing, Felix could only stammer in shock, "Zion... how could you..."

"I am truly sorry..." Zion offered a pained smile as he whispered one last word, "Brother."

The moment that word echoed in his mind, Felix looked down to see his consciousness crumbling into light.

He looked up and watched as those particles were drawn toward Zion, who began absorbing them.

Using the harvested elemental energy as fuel, Zion had rewritten the reality of their soul connection.

The separation they had intended for Lord Hades to perform was being executed forcibly by Zion. To ensure he could seize Felix's body without resistance, he couldn't simply cut the bond.

He had to consume Felix's consciousness to gain absolute mastery over both halves of the soul.

"Ha, ha, hahahaahahaaha... For someone who wanted revenge for being betrayed, you certainly have no qualms about doing the same when it serves your purpose!"

Ultimately, all Felix could do was laugh at the bitter irony of their situation.

Zion said nothing, aware that no explanation could hide his hypocrisy.

"Zion, if my travels in this universe taught me anything, it is that balance is honored above all else."

"Your karma will find you, eventually..."

With a final, disappointed smile, Felix dissolved into nothingness, his consciousness and soul fragment completely erased.

"Balance, is it..." Zion narrowed his eyes with cold Resolve. "Balance will only be restored when the heads of the three rulers and the unigins are mounted on spikes..."

Before he could finish his thought, a weary, irritated voice boomed in his mind, 'You little brat, you've ruined everything...'

"Uncle Kronos?!"

Hearing that familiar voice, Zion was paralyzed with shock.

However, before he could utter a question, his vision went dark, along with every other living thing in that universe.

Karma never arrived fast enough...
