1950 Finding Him!
The Thirteenth Universe... In the dawn of existence.
"My friends, we stand at a crucial crossroads in our history," the first ruler declared, his voice booming with authority. "By uniting the Unigins and Celestials, we can usher in an age of harmony and wealth that our worlds have never experienced."
"And why is that? Have you grown weary of us harvesting your precious celestial energy?" Apollo asked with a smirk, idly plucking a Lyre crafted from pure light.
A wave of laughter erupted from the unigins as they cast mocking glances at the three sovereigns. The heart of the universe and its celestial energy were never truly under the control of the three rulers... Consequently, whenever the unigins craved celestial energy, they simply arrived here to take it.
"Our reason for summoning you is straightforward," Amun-Ra stated with composure. "Our goal is to construct a celestial kingdom centered around the heart of the universe... and we want you to join us."
"A celestial kingdom?" Athena asked, her brow furrowing. "To what end? I was under the impression that everyone was content with how things are."
"Content? Are you certain of that?" Medusa challenged. "While a few of you possess actual realms to call your own, the rest of you drift through the void like rogue planets, lacking a star to orbit."
"Hey, was this invitation just a pretext to insult us?" Poseidon grunted. "I happen to be quite fond of my oceanic domain, thank you."
"Heh, imagine calling a globe of water a domain." Hephaestus let out a muffled chuckle.
"Bastard." Poseidon responded by simply flashing him the middle finger, his expression sour.
"Listen closely, there is no use beginning this endeavor with falsehoods."
With a sweep of his hand, the first ruler revealed the massive, glowing prophecy tablet suspended high above them.
The crowd looked up at the artifact, their faces a mix of bewilderment and curiosity.
"What exactly is that?" Artemis questioned softly.
"Our path out of this miserable cage," Amun-Ra declared, his tone turning icy.
"Fascinating."
Eris glided upward, coming to a halt right beside the tablet. She gestured toward the image of a dark void at the very peak of the stone.
"Is this the exit?"
"We believe so." Medusa turned her gaze toward the universe's heart and clarified, "Our theory is that the dark circle represents the opening of the universe's heart."
As the three celestials continued their attempts to win over the unigins, Kronos remained motionless in a quiet corner of the assembly.
He appeared to be staring blankly into the distance, completely indifferent to the debate surrounding him.
'The timeline has shifted... The previous reality was snuffed out following the Great Celestial War... Does this imply a force is pulling the strings of time?' He looked toward the three sovereigns, wondering, 'How can the three rulers remain so oblivious to this?'
As the guardian of time and space, Kronos was seemingly the only individual who retained memories of what had transpired in the prior timeline.
He was positive that the three rulers were unaware of the truth; he had looked into the future and seen that they never once doubted the nature of their reality.
Their behavior was a perfect mirror of their past selves, obsessed with doing whatever was necessary to obtain their freedom.
'Has their foresight been obstructed?'
Utilizing his temporal abilities, Kronos simulated an alternate timeline within his consciousness where he questioned the three rulers on the matter.
In that mental vision, they responded by explaining that a thick mist was blocking their ability to see any future involving the prophecy tablet.
'Intriguing, truly intriguing...' Kronos whispered to himself.
Meanwhile, the three sovereigns were busy trying to persuade Lord Hades to commit to their kingdom, though they were failing miserably.
"Ever since you began obsessing over that tablet, your actions have become more predictable than the rotation of a star system."
"Hades..."
"My decision is final," Lord Hades cut them off sharply. "The Spirit Realm is a place of refuge. It will not be used as a tool for your personal goals."
Kronos paid them no mind, his thoughts entirely consumed by a single realization.
'If an interloper is altering the timeline, they must be chasing a specific outcome. Was I left with my memories and access to the future so I could assist them?' Kronos narrowed his eyes in suspicion. 'Or was it simply an oversight?'
Kronos quickly dismissed the idea of a mistake.
To his mind, any entity capable of erasing and rewriting timelines possessed the might of a creator... and how could a creator ever fumble?
'I am unaware of your identity or your goals, but if you require my aid, give me a sign this instant.'
Nothing but silence followed. Kronos waited patiently, but no signal manifested.
While such a lack of response might cause others to doubt their theories, Kronos only grinned. 'It appears you lose your influence once the timeline is set in motion.'
'If that is the case, I am certain you are hiding among us, making small adjustments early on to ensure your desired conclusion.'
With a chilling smile, he thought to himself, 'I simply need to fish you out.'
...
Years rolled by, and the eras transitioned from the Primogenitor Era through the Dark Ages, eventually arriving at the SGAlliance Era.
Earth was stumbled upon while Felix was lounging at Sky Pearl Island... He was seventeen, just as he had been in the previous universe.
The passing of his grandfather and his disastrous performance during the family's rite of passage had left him trailing far behind his peers.
The Federation opted to enter the SGAlliance as an independent party rather than submitting to the rule of Alexander's Kingdom.
This gave them a window of five games to establish their standing within the SGAlliance. Sadly, the representative team failed to secure even a single victory.
The final blow came when Kenny Maxwell betrayed them during the fifth game, acting on secret instructions from the Alexander Kingdom.
That act of treachery ensured Earth would finally fall under the Alexander Kingdom's control.
Losing all five matches meant being expelled from the SGAlliance, leaving Earth entirely vulnerable.
Since Earth was a coveted prize for its rare resources and unique food, the Federation had to choose between immediate surrender or watching the planet become a chaotic battleground.
Once the Alexander Kingdom took over, many humans fled the planet to avoid a life of servitude... Felix was among those refugees, as his family's reputation had been annihilated by Kenny's actions.
With his parents and grandfather gone, there was nothing left for him within the clan anyway.
He traveled to the Mariana Empire and pledged himself to a bloodline clan to obtain the safety and resources needed to compete in the Supremacy Games. It was a path taken by many average bloodliners hoping to change their luck.
After surviving several brushes with death in both the arena and clan operations, Felix eventually reached the third stage of replacement, becoming a useful asset for the family.
He earned a spot on an exploration team tasked with scouting a newly found, barren galaxy.
He set out with over forty others on a voyage that lasted years. However, as they were finally being recalled, they were ambushed by a notorious band of pirates.
Felix, Kathy, Jayden, Kyle, and the rest of the crew drew their final breaths in the void of space... As a mere third-replacement bloodliner, Felix was nothing more than fodder in such a massive conflict.
Upon his death, his soul drifted toward the spirit realm. But because his memories had been wiped and the seven celestial hearts determined his chance of revival was zero, the universe was marked for deletion.
As reality began to crumble, only one entity had been waiting for this exact moment, having prepared for it meticulously.
'Which one is it...'
Kronos’s massive, terrifying eye scanned frantically, focusing on the flood of new souls entering the spirit realm from every corner of the universe!
Because of his glimpses into the future, he knew the precise moment the universe would end, as his visions always went dark at this point.
Therefore, he scrutinized every soul dying at that very second, certain that one of them was the anomaly!
One of them was the cause of all this!
One of them was the master puppeteer controlling the flow of the timeline and everyone within it!
'Who is it... Who is it... Who is it...'
Regrettably, the collapse of the universe occurred in less than a nanosecond, leaving him no time to investigate every individual spirit.
Even as the unigin of time, he was powerless against the absolute command of the universe's heart... Yet, Kronos felt no despair.
The final thought in his mind before he vanished was: '40% cleared...'
