Supremacy Games Chapter 1949 Celestials, Unigins, Primogenitors.
1949 Celestials, Unigins, Primogenitors. In accordance with his usual habits, Felix chose to act first and refine his strategy later. He was well aware that lacking sufficient data would only trap him in a cycle of overthinking.
"Seven celestial hearts, can you provide examples of semi-celestial entities? I need beings with lower spiritual pressure than the celestials, yet possessing enough power to potentially threaten them," he requested.
Felix didn't waste mental energy on the problem, preferring to let the professional entities handle the heavy lifting.
As he anticipated, the seven celestial hearts presented him with various categories of semi-celestials.
"Reality Benders... wielding the authority of the Stone of Reality to reshape existence according to their whims." Felix whispered, impressed. "That might be overdoing it."
He recognized that beings with such capabilities would be far too unpredictable and difficult to pin down. After all, how does one oppose an entity that can rewrite reality itself? Even the three celestials lacked that specific power.
Moving on to the next entry, Felix read the description aloud.
"Elemental Nobles... possessing absolute dominion over all elements through the mandate of the Elemental Heart."
Felix rubbed his chin in contemplation, though he wasn't particularly moved by this option.
"Their abilities are too close to those of the three celestials. In a direct confrontation, they would almost certainly end up on the losing side."
Felix understood the hierarchy; a race born from a celestial heart could never usurp control from the literal personification of that same heart.
"I require a race that holds absolute authority over their domain—something so distinct that even the three celestials would find it difficult to seize," Felix clarified.
The seven celestial hearts responded instantly, manifesting a brand-new race.
"Guardians and Lords of the Laws. Every guardian wields total command over a specific set of laws granted by the Origin of Laws Heart... This is exactly what I need!"
As Felix pored over the details, his excitement grew. His vision was finally taking a tangible shape.
He grasped the fundamental gap between laws and elements. While the three celestials utilized celestial languages to perceive and interact with laws and elements, they were incapable of generating laws from nothing!
Essentially, a semi-celestial based on fire laws would possess greater authority over that element than any of the three celestials themselves.
"A single guardian might not be a game-changer, but an entire race of them will surely force the three celestials to reconsider their strategies. Most importantly..." Felix noted, "I can actually envision myself interacting with them, which wasn't the case with the reality benders."
Although reality benders seemed more potent on paper, Felix remembered his true objective: integrating with the seven celestial hearts rather than just creating the most powerful weapon possible.
With the law guardians, he felt a resonance—a connection that might eventually elevate him to their status, even if the path was currently unclear.
It was a gut feeling, and at this stage, instinct was Felix's only guide.
Without hesitation, Felix ordered the creation of the law guardians. He opted not to micromanage the specifics, instructing the hearts to continue drawing from the rich mythical lore of his home planet.
The seven celestial hearts went to work, forging law guardians in succession and assigning specific laws to each one.
Spectral figures began to materialize rapidly before Felix. Each was unique in appearance, though they all shared one trait: rotating spherical cores within their chests, each radiating a distinct aura.
"Ares, Kronos, Athena, Artemis, Aeolus, Poseidon, Zeus, Eris, Hades, Hephaestus, Apollo, Uranus... You've leaned heavily into the Old Olympian pantheon, I see." Felix gave a small laugh. "The lore is going to be a mess, though. The hierarchy is completely scrambled."
Felix knew that any historian from Earth would likely be tempted to throttle him for creating such a mythological soup.
In what logical framework would Khaos be a mere elemental guardian while the law guardians were modeled after the Olympian gods?
"Perhaps this is for the best," Felix muttered. "This tangled mess of chaotic identities will serve as a reminder; a sign that such a glaring imperfection was a human creation..."
Felix was prepared for hundreds of failed attempts, and he hoped these flaws might actually be his salvation.
Much like the totems used in the film Inception, he needed unique markers to differentiate reality from a dream.
In his situation, the stakes were higher, as he had to distinguish between two different realities. He hoped that if he ever left this universe and began to question what was genuine, these small imperfections would anchor him back to his true reality.
"Now, with the celestials, Law Guardians, and Elemental Guardians established... I should probably finish the job and name the other two groups."
After a few minutes of deliberation, he added two names to the modification list.
"Primogenitors and Unigins..." he whispered the names to himself as he stepped back.
He chose Primogenitors for the elemental guardians, as they served as the progenitors for countless other species.
As for the Unigins? He derived the name by merging 'Universe' and 'Origin,' since the Law Guardians drew authority from the Origin of Law Heart and were birthed from the heart of the Universe.
They were effectively the offspring of two celestial hearts, and Felix simply combined their 'first names.'
"That should cover it. Let's see the results..."
Taking a steadying breath, Felix initiated the trial, ignoring the need for a break following his previous disaster.
Regrettably, he didn't even survive long enough to be born into the new universe to see his changes in action.
The trial concluded in less than an hour. Felix found himself reconstructed before the seven celestial hearts, which were already waiting for instructions for the next run.
"What the hell just happened?" Felix asked, stunned by the timestamp.
"Universe destroyed. Probability of candidate birth: 0%... Trial terminated."
"..."
Felix fell silent, realizing he had likely miscalculated the volatile relationship between the celestials and the unigins.
Returning within a single hour meant that the universe hadn't even survived fifty million years before collapsing.
"The three celestials are trapped in their sealed dimension, but I didn't place any such restrictions on the unigins." Felix pondered, "Did this catastrophe start with the unigins in the material universe, or was it sparked by the celestials?"
The seven celestial hearts offered no further details, and Felix knew they wouldn't answer his questions directly.
"They've turned out to be quite the unpredictable variable, but this is extreme." Felix began to adjust his strategy. "I gave them total freedom to exercise their laws, and that almost certainly caused the universe's downfall."
His first correction was to place the unigins on the same watch list as the three celestials. This ensured that if they abused their laws or attempted to cause widespread harm, they would face severe consequences.
"This will significantly cap their power compared to the three celestials," Felix noted, scratching his chin. "But maybe that's necessary."
Felix recalled that his purpose for the unigins was to serve as a check on the celestials, not to trigger an all-out war. Their presence only needed to be potent enough to make the celestials hesitate.
At the same time, the unigins shouldn't be so powerful that they felt compelled to actively hunt the three celestials.
A delicate balance was required.
"If I grant them infinite reincarnation through the universe's heart, the three celestials will definitely think twice about trying to wipe them out... especially if each rebirth drains a massive amount of celestial energy."
While the plan seemed sound, Felix still worried that the unigins lacked a clear objective despite their freedom—a dangerous combination for beings of that caliber.
"Should I incorporate them into the primary plot? If I set them on a path to discover the truth of the universe and their origins, I suspect most would end up collaborating with the three celestials."
Felix resumed his plotting, certain that the three celestials would readily ally with the unigins if the tablet hinted at it.
It would provide them with extra resources while allowing them to keep their potential rivals under close supervision.
For the unigins, it provided a collective goal. Even if a few individuals went rogue, Felix believed that as long as the majority followed the plan, peace and stability would endure.
Without further delay, Felix applied the new modifications and began the trials once more.
