Ethan Barnes departed for a trip, leaving Celeste Linden feeling a sense of emptiness. She worried for his safety as he left, though he assured her he would be careful. Celeste and her daughter Danielle missed him after his departure. Later, Ethan sent Celeste a simple message telling her to sleep, and she found herself falling asleep quickly afterward. The next day, while picking up Danielle from kindergarten, Celeste received another message from Ethan, asking, "What about you?"

"Mommy~" Danielle ran over at this moment.

Celeste Linden held her daughter’s small hand and didn’t respond to Ethan Barnes.

The mother and daughter went back home, played for a while and then bathed and slept. Danielle asked, "Mommy, has daddy arrived?"

After Celeste went inside, the phone vibrated, Ethan Barnes called via video chat.

Ethan thought for a moment, then decided not to, "Let your mommy take her bath first."

Just then, a young girl’s voice sounded, "Boss, what would you like to eat tonight? I’ll make it for you now."

Danielle glanced over and saw a very pretty sister appear behind Ethan, the sister rolled up her sleeves and headed into the kitchen.

Ethan said, "Anything."

"Danielle, daddy has to go busy now, you and mommy should sleep early." Ethan ended the video chat.

Soon Celeste finished bathing and came out, seeing Danielle holding the phone she asked, "Danielle, why aren’t you asleep yet?"

"Mommy, daddy just called with a video chat, I talked with daddy for a while."

"Really?" Celeste dried her long hair with a towel.

"Yeah, I even saw a very pretty sister with daddy, the sister asked daddy what he wanted to eat tonight, then the sister rolled up her sleeves and went into the kitchen. Daddy ended the video chat." Danielle explained truthfully.

Celeste’s hand froze while drying her hair, where did the sister come from, even cooking for him?

"Okay, goodnight mommy." Danielle entered her dreams.
