"Willow, your sister is here, quickly release me," Morgan Ashworth whispered in Willow Crawford’s ear.
Willow didn’t want to let go. She tightened her small hands, hugging him forcefully, wishing she could cling to him forever and never let him go.
She had decided that she wanted to find her lost memories.
She wanted to figure out what happened three years ago—the most wonderful Morgan Ashworth in the world—how could she bear to leave him behind?
She had forgotten the love story between them and didn’t want to keep hearing about love; she wanted to remember everything.
Morgan Ashworth wasn’t sure how he had left for just a little while, and Willow was so attached to him. Although he enjoyed it, he still needed to save face in front of his sister.
"Be good, Willow. When we get back to the room later, you can hug me for as long as you want," Morgan Ashworth gently coaxed her.
Willow then reluctantly released him.
Celeste Linden laughed, "Miles, seeing how good you and Willow’s relationship is now really makes me happy."
"Sis, why didn’t you say anything when you came here? Let’s go have a meal together."
In the past three years, Celeste Linden had a daughter and was living well; she had become an internationally renowned chief designer. Besides her beloved and busy work, Danielle was healthy and warm-hearted, and the mother and daughter lived happily together.
Celeste Linden nodded, "Okay, Danielle mentioned she misses Joy, let the two kids play together."
Everyone headed to a six-star restaurant, and the two little ones went off to play. Seeing Danielle’s cute manner made Willow and Morgan Ashworth, who were eager for a daughter, extremely envious.
Willow affectionately held Celeste Linden’s hand, "Sis, have you been in touch with Danielle’s dad these years?"
Danielle’s dad, Ethan Barnes...
Hearing his name again, Celeste Linden couldn’t help but feel taken aback, because this man hadn’t appeared in her life for three whole years. He had fulfilled his promise back then, withdrawing from her life and not bothering her anymore.
Celeste Linden was still very calm. She smiled gently, "Willow, I’ve never been in contact with Danielle’s dad, but in these three years, I’ve heard about him. He’s doing well; I’ve heard he’s become a much-admired general."
Morgan Ashworth nodded, "Yes, I met him a while ago. He was visiting another country with his wife. He’s still as rebellious and charming; he hasn’t changed much in these three years."
As he spoke, Morgan Ashworth looked at Celeste Linden and said, "Sis, these three years, his relationship with his wife has been good. Since getting married, he settled down and hasn’t had any more gossip about other women. Everyone says he’s the new three-good man of this era, except... apart from him and his wife not having kids, everything else is nearly perfect."
Celeste Linden felt that period had already distanced from her. Whatever his relationship with Carlotta was, was irrelevant to her. "That’s great. We’re both doing well now, peaceful and nice."
...
Celeste Linden went to the restroom, and when she came out, she saw many black-suited bodyguards guarding the entrance of the men’s restroom, as if some significant person was inside.
Celeste Linden wasn’t a gossip, so she didn’t pay any mind to it.
However, as she passed the entrance of the men’s restroom, she heard an exceedingly arrogant voice from inside, "Samuel Barnes has been probing my whereabouts all along, hasn’t he? Tonight, let loose my whereabouts. Damn it, I’ll lure the snake out of its hole tonight and close the door to beat the dog!"
