Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 993: A Celestial Problem

Jason was too shocked to do anything for a few seconds after reading that letter! Jason just stared at it with wide-eyed surprise, and he tried to wrap his mind around what the hell he just read! A darkness that could eradicate the Primordial Expanse? If anyone else had said something so crazy to Jason, then he would’ve felt a bit of doubt about it, but the fact that Jason had read it straight from his father told him that this was actually very serious!

’I’ve never heard father pray before.’

Jason read through the last two sentences of the message, and he couldn’t believe he actually saw his father praying to the Avaran gods. Was that how serious this situation was!? Anything that could make a man as powerful as Richard Marc pray was definitely something they had to take seriously!

Jason frowned as he began to think about what this whole thing could be about. Richard had mentioned the Celestials in his letter, but as far as Jason knew, C’thlyanu was the only celestial he had heard about. Could this be one of the other Fallen Celestials that existed in the Primordial Expanse?

’Is Gregory actually trying to awaken a Fallen Celestial?’

Jason immediately asked this question to the system, and the system was silent for a few seconds before it brought up a tab.

Jason’s eyes narrowed slightly. Knowing that there were multiple end-worlding creatures out there didn’t really help him at all, and Jason realised that he would need to pinpoint the exact one his father was talking about before he could try to figure out how to stop it!

Jason frowned at this message, and he looked out on the city below him as his mind raced. There were far too many possibilities that Jason needed to look into right now! The fact that Richard spoke about a disaster meant that there would definitely be something dangerous happening in the near future, but Jason couldn’t sound an alarm about a coming disaster without finding out more about what the disaster could be or what sort of danger they were in! Out of all the celestials, Jason automatically disqualified the seven free Celestials. Those celestials must’ve been left to roam freely because they don’t cause any serious issues for the Primordial Expanse, so there was no need to capture them.

This meant that the disaster was going to come from one of the five imprisoned celestials. Was it going to be one of the three imprisoned long ago, or would it be one of the two imprisoned recently? Jason honestly had no way to know! But Jason realised that there might be some other way to find out.

’C’thlyanu is the only celestial that managed to form a reasonable relationship with the mortals. It’s possible that he was also involved in the Great Celestial Hunt from back then. If he knows where the seals are located, then he can keep an eye on them and make sure that no one tampered with them.’

Jason decided that he would send a message to C’thlyanu about this matter. Even though Jason still didn’t know everything about the Fallen Celestial, Jason knew that C’thlyanu and his father had once been close, and that meant that Jason could trust him to an extent!

Jason immediately activated a rune on his hand that produced a piece of paper. Jason wrote something down on the paper using his finger with his mana as ink, and then Jason sealed the paper using his magic. Jason then called on one of the fastest subordinates in his Legion. She was a feline-like creature from a world known as Cefor, and Jason remembered that she was one of the prisoners that the Machina had used when they were trying to capture him.

’This message is for C’thlyanu. Go to the Hall of Fallen Heroes and pass the message to the Keepers. They’ll know what to do with it.’

Jason sent her out, and then he let out a calm breath as he watched her fall into the shadows and vanish. Jason knew he couldn’t deal with something of this scale on his own. Even though Jason could protect his domain, this danger was coming for the entire Primordial Expanse, and Jason needed the help of someone like C’thlyanu to make sure the other domains didn’t suffer as well.

But the more Jason thought about this entire situation, the more annoyed he got at his older brother, Gregory! What the fuck was wrong with that bastard? Was he really planning to unleash a world-ending disaster just because of some family feud? Jason couldn’t believe that his brother would be so stupid! Jason had learned a long time ago that power made people do crazy things, and the desire for revenge made people even crazier, but Jason was realising at this moment that there was no limit to just how crazy someone could become! If Gregory really hated their father enough to release a Fallen Celestial just to get to him, then there was really no way to redeem Gregory anymore! Jason needed to find a way to stop this before it got too serious!

"Hey baby. We’re almost done getting the bath ready."

Jason turned to his right, and he felt his anger vanishing when he saw Gina walking towards him with a short towel around her body. Jason put his hand around her waist, and he pulled her closer before kissing her softly. Gina ran a hand over his cheek once they separated, and she spoke in a low voice.

"Are you okay? You look like you’ve been thinking a lot."

Jason let out a calm sigh as he shook his head. It was impossible for Jason not to think these days. There was just so much he had to handle all the time, and it had become rare for him to have any free time. There were even days when Jason would just stand and stare at the sky whenever his thoughts became too much. Jason debated whether or not he should let Gina know about the evil that was coming, and in the end, Jason decided not to tell her about it yet. Gina needed to focus on the baby, and worrying about the potential end of the world was only going to add more stress to her! Jason decided he would first find out what they were really going up against before letting her know.
