Jason discussed plans to distribute a new pill that could significantly boost the power of mortals, potentially averting another Primordial war. He also recounted his recent encounters, including eradicating the Jamani mercenaries and battling the formidable Phantasmal Lightning Dragon. Furthermore, Jason revealed his intention to establish a network of academies across major worlds to improve magic education and foster inter-world relationships, much to the excitement of Riyala.

"Aren’t you enjoying the play?"

Hesabeth let out a miserable sigh when Jason asked this, and she spoke:

"I enjoyed it quite a lot, but I have a mountain of work still to be done before the night is over. The only reason I stayed so long was because I am a benefactor to the theatre and my presence would boost their morale. Now that I have fulfilled my obligation, I have no more need to stay. Although, if you wish, you could always stay and see the rest of the play. I... don’t really require your presence for me to finish my work."

Hesabeth said that last part in the same confident tone she always spoke with, but Jason easily noticed how Hesabeth glanced away from him with a sad look in her eyes, and Jason knew that Hesabeth did not actually want to leave alone. Hesabeth was someone who had a lot of responsibilities, but at the same time, Hesabeth wanted to spend time with the family, so it was obvious that Hesabeth wanted Jason and the others to come back with her! If Jason said he wanted to stay, then Hesabeth would be okay with it, but Hesabeth would obviously not be happy!

"Alright, let’s go home."

Jason said this with a small grin, and Hesabeth’s eyes lit up in joy! But Hesabeth did her best to control her emotions by coughing into her closed fist, and both Gina and Riyala chuckled softly since they also saw through Hesabeth’s actions! This was how most of their vacation had been! Even though Hesabeth was spending time with them, she was still very busy, so she would sometimes have to leave the resort or spa earlier than they planned to go and finish some work!

Whenever that happened, Gina and Riyala would also leave with Hesabeth since they didn’t want to leave her alone, and although Hesabeth never showed it outwardly, both Gina and Riyala could tell that Hesabeth was really happy that they were staying with her! Hesabeth expertly ignored the teasing looks from her sister-wives as Hesabeth called out for the guards and told them to prepare the carriage. A group of more than fifty guards saluted from around the theatre, and they moved out from the opera house quickly before Hesabeth stood!

"Come then, let us depart."

Hesabeth took Gina’s hand and helped her to stand, and Jason stood up with Riyala hugging his arm happily. Stella bowed as they all passed, and she followed behind them calmly as they moved towards the exit. As they walked, they ran into multiple people who were all there to watch the plays, and every single person stopped whatever they were doing and bowed to them respectfully! Hesabeth was still holding hands with Gina, and Hesabeth flicked open a fan and used it to cover her lower face without bothering to pay any attention to the commoners around her.

Once they got outside, Jason noticed a red carpet leading from the theatre door towards a carriage, and Jason just smiled as he remembered how he always felt annoyed whenever he saw this carpet in the past! When Jason first met Hesabeth, seeing this carpet would only mean he was about to face more problems, but now Jason was walking down that same carpet with Hesabeth as one of his girls. Jason scoffed in amusement, and he turned to his side as Riyala leaned up and whispered something in his ear.

"Don’t you think Hesabeth and Gina look like twins when they stand like this?"

Jason hummed as he looked at the two redheads in front of him. Hesabeth and Gina were holding hands and walking in perfect sync, and Jason couldn’t deny that Riyala was right! They really looked like twins! Jason chuckled softly at that realisation, and Jason just shook his head when Gina and Hesabeth turned to him in perfect sync and asked what was so funny! Riyala put her hand over her mouth to hide her chuckles, and Jason grinned.

"It’s nothing. Don’t worry about it."

Both girls narrowed their eyes at Jason and Riyala, and it was obvious that neither of them believed him, but Jason refused to tell them anything no matter what, and the entire family got into the carriage and headed back to Hesabeth’s castle.

....

[A Few Hours Later]

[Hesabeth’s Castle]

Just like Hesabeth had said earlier, the moment she got back to the castle she had to leave to go and finish up some of the work that had piled up. Hesabeth kissed Jason deeply, and she apologised for not being able to spend more time with him, but Jason just smiled and told her that it was fine! Jason was also an Overlord, so Jason understood how little time they could have to themselves! And the fact that Hesabeth had left her work for so long to spend that week with him in [Merivo’s Paradise] was obviously one of the reasons she was so busy now! It would take some time for Hesabeth’s responsibilities to settle down again!

Hesabeth thanked Jason for understanding, and she gave Gina and Riyala quick hugs and a kiss on the cheek before she waved them goodbye and began heading towards her office, where stacks of documents were waiting for her!

Jason and the other girls were led by the maids towards the master bedroom where the girls had been staying since they arrived. Once they got to the room, Jason told Stella to go and get some rest as well, and Stella bowed before leaving with the other maids. This was Hesabeth’s personal bedroom, and Jason couldn’t help but wonder how one person could stay in such a massive room all alone! The room itself was larger than the entire ground floor of Jason’s mansion on Earth! It had a massive double queen-size bed, and there was a large glass door on one side that led out to a balcony overlooking the kingdom! Standing on the balcony gave you a perfect view of the full moon in the sky, but Jason could only imagine how beautiful the kingdom would look under the sunrise tomorrow.

While Jason was on the balcony, Riyala and Gina got ready to go into the bathroom since they had a long day, and Jason took that time to turn his attention towards his system. There were a lot of subordinates who had finally gotten the required hierarchy level to go up to the next rank, and Jason scanned over the subordinates to see where he would put the upgrade points.

Right now, Jason had to be very careful about where he sent his upgrade points. Jason had four subordinates in the knight rank: Arcticus, the sky serpent boss, Diana, and the Primordial Lightning Dragon. These four had not yet gotten the required hierarchy level percentage to go up to the next rank, but they would require the highest amount of upgrade points! Just to upgrade the four of them, Jason would need about five million upgrade points, which was just under five hundred million kill points! And when Jason upgrades them, he would have to spend even more if he wants to upgrade them again!

[Kill Points: 1,310,240,430]

[Upgrade Points: 259,060]

This was the amount of points Jason currently had in his system, and if Jason used up five hundred million kill points from here, then the amount left would be cut down to about half! Jason decided not to let that bother him for now, and he turned his attention towards the subordinates that were up to the required hierarchy level!
