Previously on Strongest Necromancer System...
Jason frowned as he looked at his sword and wondered what the hell happened! Jason thought he would be able to take the dragon’s head off with that attack, but for some reason, the dragon wasn’t even bleeding! The Lightning Dragon immediately started to get up again after the hit, and Jason decided that it didn’t matter for now! Jason just had to hit the bastard until it fucking stayed down! Jason charged forward once again, and the dragon roared as it activated the AOE skill [Rain of Lightning]! The sky above darkened, and the dragon was already prepared for Jason to move away so that it could launch another attack, but the dragon was shocked when Jason just kept flying forward!
BZZT!
Hundreds of lightning bolts rained down from the sky, but Jason was so quick that he easily dodged all of them, and he got right in the dragon’s face with his sword drawn back!
SLASH!
ROARRR!!
This time, Jason aimed for the dragon’s eyes, and Jason was rewarded with an earth-shattering roar that tore across the air as blue blood poured from the dragon’s eyes! Jason’s lips split into a grin, and Jason quickly moved back as the dragon began to swing its tail and wings around erratically to try and get Jason away from it! The wound on the dragon’s eyes was already starting to heal, but Jason refused to give the dragon even a second of rest, and he immediately snapped his fingers and activated a skill!
[Crimson Hellfire]!
PHWOOM!
ROARRRR!
A crimson flame erupted around the bleeding eye of the dragon, and Jason dashed forward as the beast unleashed another loud roar! Jason positioned his Death’s Mirage right towards the Dragon’s chest, and he was about to stab it through its Primordial Heart, but a pulse of energy suddenly flew across the air that forced Jason to stop! Lightning sparked around the dragon, and Jason’s eyes widened as he felt a surge of power gathering in the dragon’s body! Jason immediately began moving back to try and avoid whatever the dragon was about to unleash, but there was no escaping this particular attack!
The dragon condensed its mana into a pinhead-sized ball inside of its body, and then once the mana was dense enough, it unleashed all of it in a circular wave of energy that blasted through the air as quickly as lightning! Jason was unable to move quickly enough to dodge the attack, and he simply put his hand out in front of him and brought up another mana shield to try and block it! But the attack was so dense that it easily pushed Jason back and sent him flying through the air!
BOOM!
Jason slammed into a mountain, and he grunted as the mana pushed him deeper into the rocky surface! Jason was still using his mana shield to try and block the attack, but the wave didn’t look like it would stop anytime soon! It was relentless!
[King’s Substitute]!
Jason immediately activated the Legion skill, and he switched places with a Rook a few miles away! The moment the Rook appeared in Jason’s position, it was immediately crushed to death, and Jason landed on a cliff and let out a tense breath as he looked at the large lightning dragon in the distance! The dragon had gone through a strange transformation that Jason couldn’t understand. Its body was still white, but now there were black lines travelling across its white scales, and black lightning was sparking across its body constantly! The dragon’s body had grown even larger, and it was now glaring at Jason with a murderous intent that hadn’t been there earlier!

’What the hell happened to it?’
[The Primordial Lightning Dragon had undergone its Phantasmal Transformation]
The system suddenly brought up an explanation, and Jason frowned and asked the system what the hell that meant.
[A Phantasmal Transformation is a unique ability reserved only for Phantasmal Elemental Beasts. During this transformation, the Beast borrows power from the Phantom Zone, and they increase their Strength, Durability, Speed, and Agility by a significant amount compared to what they possessed in their base form. The Phantom Zone is an alternate reality that exists outside the real world. In that zone, all forms of energy are negatively charged, and in order to reach that zone, a being must have gained permission from the world itself.]
’So it’s like antimatter?’
Jason was surprised when he read through the system’s message, and he looked at the dragon again and wondered what sort of abilities it would show now that it had this much power! Jason tightened his hand around his sword, and he got into a fighting stance as he prepared himself for another clash! But Jason felt his entire body shake in shock as the lightning dragon suddenly threw its head up to the sky and unleashed a roar of power!!
ROARRR!
A pillar of black mana tore out from the dragon’s mouth and travelled into the air, and Jason cursed as he realised that the lightning dragon’s power had surpassed Jason’s Resonance power already! The Essence Purity of the Dragon had gone up from around thirty percent to well over fifty percent!
BOOM!
The lightning dragon suddenly blasted towards Jason like a rocket, and before Jason could even understand what was going on, the dragon was right on top of him, and it slammed its tail into where Jason was standing! Jason was sent flying, and he quickly brought his sword up and blocked a downward slash that would’ve torn him to pieces!
BOOM!
Jason slammed through a mountain, and he immediately sent a surge of mana and Qi straight through his body!
[The user is attempting to go beyond [15%] Resonance limit. Doing this will cause significant harm to the user’s body.]
’Just fucking do it! Do you think I can survive this bastard without going higher!?’
Who cares if he would cause harm to his body! Jason knew that he would die if he didn’t do something to counter the lightning dragon! Jason’s body began to grow hot as the Resonance pushed up to twenty percent, and Jason felt a sudden immeasurable pain shoot through his entire body at once!
’Fuck!’
Jason cursed as the pain nearly sent him to his knees, but in the next moment, the pain vanished as it was transferred to his [Soul Mates], and Jason got a notification.
[Every subordinate above Rook Rank III has died]

’Jason! What in the world is going on!?’
Gina’s voice suddenly echoed through Jason’s head in shock, and Jason grunted as he dashed to the side and avoided another charge from the lightning dragon! The dragon opened its mouth and unleashed a blast of black lightning, and Jason activated [King’s Substitute] again and reappeared behind the dragon!
SLASH!
Jason lashed out with a slash straight for the dragon’s neck and the blade cut a straight line through the dragon’s nape!
ROARRR!
The dragon let out a massive roar in pain, and Jason clicked his tongue in annoyance! The cut was too fucking shallow!
WHIP!
The dragon turned around and whipped its tail towards Jason again, and Jason placed the Death’s Mirage in front of him as a shield as he was blasted away!
BOOM!
’Jason! Are you okay!?’
’Not now, Gina! Let’s talk later!’
Jason grit his teeth as he slammed into the mountain, and Jason immediately charged forward for another attack!
BOOM!
On the other side of the call, Gina was sitting at a dinner table with the other girls, and they were enjoying a feast that Hesabeth’s servants had made for them. But Gina couldn’t focus on the food since she could feel the intense tremors going through the Legion at that moment! The constant death and resurrection of the Legion due to the Resonance skill was making Gina’s senses go haywire, so Gina knew that there had to be something serious happening with Jason!
