Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 932: Meeting The Family
The three mothers, Fiona, Bethsa and Mira, were sitting with Gina on a couch, and Mira was trying to explain why Gina and Jason’s wedding was going to be a small one.
"The kids don’t want something too grand. Jason and Gina are very popular, so if we announce the wedding, it’ll blow out of proportion."
Fiona scoffed.
"That is no excuse at all! This is the wedding of a Prince of the Avarans, so it needs to be as grand as possible."
"I also think it should be a grand event. You only get married once, so it would be rude not to involve your people in it as well. On my wedding day, there was an entire festival for the citizens to enjoy themselves."
Bethsa bragged with a wide smile about her wedding, and Gina’s face scrunched up a little at the thought of organising an entire festival just to get married! That was way too much.
"Gina dear, you need to remember that Jason is the ruler of this world now. As a ruler, there are some things that must be done grandly, and a wedding is definitely one of them. You cannot overlook the needs of your people during such an auspicious day."
Fiona spoke up with an air of wisdom around her, and if it had been anyone else, then they might’ve considered Fiona’s words seriously. But Gina understood Jason far more than anyone in the world, and the one thing Gina was sure of was that Jason didn’t give a damn about what other people thought! If they had a small wedding and anyone complained, then Jason would tell them to go fuck themselves! So Gina put her foot down and said she was going to have the small wedding.
"Jason and I just want friends and family there. Nothing too serious and definitely no festivals. We prefer things that way."
Fiona sighed, and Bethsa smiled softly and said that she understood. Bethsa already knew that Jason and Gina weren’t the sort to go overboard for their wedding, so she wasn’t surprised. But Fiona didn’t look like she was going to let this go. Fiona spoke up in mild irritation.
"Gina, you owe a responsibility to these people. Even if you want the main wedding to be a small one, can you make a compromise concerning the reception? This is an opportunity to draw people in and boost unity and morale; you cannot let it slip –"
Doon!
Every single person in the room suddenly froze as they felt an intense pressure approaching from a distance! None of them could feel the mana of the person approaching, but only the pressure alone was enough to tell them that this person was not ordinary! Fiona stood up in surprise, and she was about to tell her children to prepare themselves since she thought that they were under attack, but then she saw Gina smile and she realised that this wasn’t an enemy! Was this Jason!?
The intense pressure finally got close enough to enter the house, and Jason slowly emerged from the shadows with a curious look on his face. Jason looked around the room, and he couldn’t help but wonder why so many of his extended family had come to visit out of the blue!
"O-Oh my..."
Jason turned to look at the woman who spoke, and he saw a blue-haired woman dressed in a beautiful blue gown. Jaosn didn’t recognize her, so he figured that this was one of his stepmothers that he hadn’t met before. The woman was staring at Jason like she was seeing a ghost, and Jason recognized the look on her face immediately. This was the same look that Bethsa had on her face when she first saw him.
"Sorry I’m late, everyone, I had a meeting to attend earlier –"
"Has anyone ever told you that you look just like father?"
Jason turned to the person who spoke, and he saw that it was a girl with black hair and eyes. Georgia had a slightly creeped-out expression on her face as she stared at Jason, and she tried to understand how in the world something like this was possible! Jason looked so much like Richard that it was as if she was standing in front of her father all over again! Jason smiled at his half-sister and nodded.
"Yeah, I’ve heard that once or twice. I’m Jason. It’s nice to meet you."
Jason smiled at Georgia, and Georgia blinked in shock as an image of her father’s laughing face immediately overlapped with Jason’s smiling face! Georgia simply stared at Jason silently for a few long seconds, and it wasn’t until Hendrix cleared his throat that Georgia realised that she was staring! A blush of embarrassment grew on Georgia’s face, and she had to do her best to control her emotions as she stood up to greet Jason properly.
"Hello, Jason. I’m Georgia Marc. It’s nice to meet you too."
"And I am Hendrix. I’ve been looking forward to meeting you, little brother."
Hendrix put his hand out towards Jason for a handshake, and Jason took his hand in a strong grip. Hendrix stepped forward and spoke in a low, hard tone so that only the two of them would hear it.
"How strong are you, really?"
Jason smiled.
"Stronger than you think."
Hendrix’s eyes widened in surprise, and his lips twitched up into a smile before he nodded. Hendrix couldn’t feel Jason’s mana right now, so Hendrix couldn’t be sure of Jason’s exact rank, but Hendrix was a Titan, and the only way he wouldn’t be able to feel someone’s mana was if they were either hiding their power using an artefact or if they were a Primordial! Hendrix found it hard to believe that Jason had truly transcended into the realm of the Primordials, but Jason’s response basically confirmed it!
"You and I need to talk later. There’s something you have to know about our family."
Jason’s eyes narrowed slightly when he heard this from Hendrix, but Jason simply nodded in agreement, and he turned as he heard two loud voices call out to him!
"JASON!"
"BIG BROTHER!"
Both Kai and Maya immediately ran towards Jason with excited smiles, and Jason laughed as he caught them both and lifted them off the ground!
"So you two troublemakers finally met. I’ll need to keep a closer eye on you two."
"I’m not a troublemaker!"
Kai pouted at Jason, but Maya pumped her fist happily!
"I get to spend time with big brother!"
Jason just laughed at the different reactions, and he gave Maya a kiss on the cheek before he put them both down and ruffled Kai’s head! Jason reached out and gave Janet a quick hug and allowed her to kiss his cheek while welcoming him home before Jason hugged his mother as well. Mira caressed Jason’s cheek and asked him if he had even eaten anything while he was gone, and Jason laughed and said he did. Mira obviously didn’t believe him, and she told him she wouldn’t let him leave the table until he had eaten his fill today.
"I’ll make sure Stella adds some extra just for you."
Mira left to go and meet with Stella, and Jason let out a small sigh in amusement before he turned towards Bethsa and Fiona. Bethsa first came up to hug Jason, and Jason returned the hug happily.
"Hello, mother."
Bethsa smiled as she pulled back and touched Jason’s cheek softly.
"You’ve grown so much, son. Or should I say, Lord Jason?"
"Please, no. I’ve heard that title so much in the last few days that I’m sick of it."
Bethsa laughed when she saw the look of genuine irritation on Jason’s face, and she brought Jason’s head down to kiss his forehead.
"I’m so proud of you, Jason. And I know your father would be proud of you too."
Jason smiled thankfully, and Bethsa finally turned to gesture to Fiona.
"Allow me to introduce Queen Fiona of the Lyran Kingdom. Your mother."
