Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 918: An Unequal Relationship

~6 minute read · 1,379 words

Jason made his way to the world of Falic, and he saw that the rain there had also stopped, and the water was quickly clearing out. As Jason moved through the world, Jason noticed a caravan with a foreign mana signature travelling a small distance away, and Jason went to meet with the travellers.

The caravan was made up of multiple carriages pulled by horses that had flames on their hair and tail, and the people driving it all had red skin with blindfolds around their eyes and flames burning on their heads. Jason immediately recognized them as the same race as the man who came along with Ragran to visit him from the Elder World earlier, F’yame. They were from a world called Soroch, and they were all flame users whose trade route had been blocked by Varina for a long time. But now that Varina was dead, they were able to move freely once more!

The moment the Sorochs saw Jason on their path, a few guards rode forward on their flaming horses, and they were about to demand Jason move away, but one of the guards there was lucky to recognize Jason from a picture of the Overlord he had seen once, and he immediately jumped down from the horse!

"STOP THE CARRIAGES! STOP NOW!"

The man shouted to all the carriages and made them stop, before he immediately went down on a knee!

"Lord Jason! It’s an honor to be in your presence!"

All the guards who hadn’t recognized Jason before immediately felt their eyes widen when they heard his name, and they all got down from their horses and went to their knees as well!

"LORD JASON! IT’S AN HONOR TO BE IN YOUR PRESENCE!"

The greeting echoed through the road, and even the caravan drivers all stood respectfully to greet Jason! The guards couldn’t believe that they would meet Jason on a random road like this, and they could only wonder what Jason was doing here! The guards had confirmed that the witch’s influence on this world had been taken care of by Jason a few days ago, and they had immediately started moving their goods once again, but they thought that Jason would have already returned to his world by now!

Jason raised a hand to tell everyone to calm down, and he spoke to the guard in front.

"What are you transporting?"

The guard responded in a booming voice!

"We are moving a cargo of dissected flame-mud Dragon organs to the Gregarious Research Institute in the world of Fayanard! We’ve had trade agreements with the Research Institute for more than fifty years now, but the recent actions from the Witch of Calamity have prevented us from delivering our goods for a long time. We thank the Overlord for helping us take care of the wicked witch!"

Jason’s smile strained slightly when the guard called Varina a wicked witch, but Jason knew he couldn’t fault him for thinking like that. One person’s hero was someone else’s villain, and to these Sorochs, the witch had been the devil that prevented them from selling their goods and making money. Jason simply nodded, and he told the guards that they could leave.

"Send my regards to F’yame when you return to your home. Tell him I recieved his invite and I’ll honor it when I am not so busy with work."

"YES, LORD JASON! IT’LL BE OUR GREATEST HONOR TO HOST YOU!"

The guards all spoke up in loud voices as they heard Jason would be coming to their world sometime in the future, and from the looks on their faces, it was obvious that they were looking forward to it!

’Wow, they’re like puppies. So damn excitable.’

Jason remembered that even F’yame had been like this as well, and Jason could only wonder if this was something common among the Sorochs. Jason waved his hand to tell the Sorochs that they could continue on their journey, and the Sorochs all saluted as Jason melted into the shadows and vanished from this world!

....

[An Unknown Location]

A Dimensional Tear ripped open in the space over a large hot spring, and a woman with long rainbow colored hair floated out from it with a small frown on her face. The woman had fair skin and an unbelievably beautiful face, and even though her eyes were closed, she looked around as if she could see perfectly well! This woman was named Enkidu, and she was the Apostle wielding the Arcane Art of Nature! Enkidu hovered in the air and looked around at the peaceful garden before her eyes finally trailed down to the man resting at the edge of the hot springs below.

The man had long white hair that fanned out around him in the water and a strong, sturdy build with muscles in all the right places! This was Sicario, and he was the leader of the Court of Apostles! The moment Enkidu appeared above him, Sicario opened one eye and looked up at the younger girl.

"You seem irritated, Enkidu. Did you have another run-in with Ulysses?"

Sicario knew about the bad blood between the Nature and Reality Apostles better than anyone else, so his first guess was that Enkidu had gone to meet with Ulysses again, but Enkidu just clicked her tongue in annoyance once she heard the name of that annoying bitch, and Enkidu spoke up while floating down to the water.

"Please don’t bring up that useless skank for no reason. If I had run into her, then they would be scraping her remains from the earth at this very moment."

Sicario chuckled slightly as he leaned back while closing his eyes and Enkidu stood softly on the water surface before she began to take off her clothes! Enkidu raised her hand, and a long root reached out from a tree in the distance and helped her to lift the white robe she was wearing over her head. Enkidu was completely naked underneath, so her modest hips and bust were immediately on full display! Enkidu was a woman who had lived for more than a hundred years, but anyone who saw her would never think that she was that old! Enkidu had a very small build, like a young teenager, and Enkidu looked down at her breasts and frowned in annoyance when she saw how small they were! Enkidu had the power to manipulate and change the biological composition of most living things with only a touch, and yet she couldn’t manipulate her own chest!

’Tch, now I’m even more annoyed.’

Enkidu began walking towards Sicario, and she frowned at him once she was close enough. Sicario let out a small sigh as he stretched an arm to the side, and Enkidu smiled as she finally allowed herself to sink into the water and she snuggled into Sicario’s side while resting her head on his arm!

For Enkidu, this was a lover’s embrace, and she wished more than anything to take this to the next level, but as far as Sicario was concerned, he was simply taking a bath with his clingy daughter! Sicario and Enkidu’s history could be traced back more than a hundred years to when Sicario had been searching for lost members of his eradicated race. Sicario didn’t have any reason to live back then, and it wasn’t until he found Enkidu frozen in a timeless world and took her under his wing that he slowly began to gain back the purpose he had lost after the death of his race. As Enkidu grew, Sicario had come to see her as his only daughter, but unfortunately for him, Enkidu didn’t think the same way at all, and she saw him as more of a romantic interest than a father!

The two Apostles were silent for a few seconds as they simply enjoyed each other’s company, and after a while, Sicario finally spoke up.

"There’s something on your mind. What is it?"

Enkidu let out a low hum as she snuggled even deeper into Sicario’s embrace before she spoke.
