Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 883: The Three-Way Battle

Jason read the notifications quickly, and he felt his eyes narrow as he jumped back to avoid a strike from one of the Sky Serpent mobs. Jason spread his mana out to see if there was anyone else in this gate, but Jason couldn’t feel any other mana other than Diane and the other Bengari warriors, so that could only mean that they were the ones who had been affected by the Mind Arts!

’Is this the same situation as the Machina? Is that white-haired bastard controlling their minds?’

Jason thought about this for a second, but Jason easily got rid of the thoughts since it wouldn’t help him in this battle! Jason decided that he would think about it after the fight! The giant snake lunged towards Jason once again, and Jason easily deflected its head to the side and moved back to prepare for Diane’s charge! One of the snake heads created a massive magic circle that pulled thousands of rocks from the terrain and threw them at Jason, and Jason simply brought up a wall of wind to block the attacks, but Jason was unable to dodge the next attack as the second head came up and opened its black, crossed eyes! Jason’s eyes met the dark irises of the serpent, and Jason’s vision swam as he felt a strange, drunken feeling coming over him!

The Serpent Boss had two unique abilities called [Sonic Surge] and [Gravity Pull] that allowed it to push and pull many objects telekinetically, but there was a third ability that the snake could only activate after it had been killed at least once, and that was called [Vertigo]! This ability sent a surge of mana straight into the opponent’s brain and induced a drunken, unbalanced state in its opponent, and this not only blurred the opponent’s vision, but it also prevented the opponent from targeting properly by affecting their balance! Jason felt his head banging from the vertigo, but even in the midst of the pain, Jason could still feel the moment Diane’s intense mana got closer! Jason looked in the direction of Diane’s mana, and he cursed as he saw Diane heading towards him while raising her sword above her head! Jason put the [Death’s Mirage] between them, and Diane’s attack slammed into Jason’s sword!

BOOM!

Jason was thrown down to the ground, and he slammed into the broken mountain below! The large serpent boss released a loud roar as it swiped its tail towards Diane, but Diane grabbed the tail, and the rune on her stomach glowed with an intense red light!

"RARRGGH!"

Diane roared as she lifted the massive snake into the air before bringing it down in a wicked whiplash towards where Jason had landed!

KA-BOOM!

The entire region rumbled with a massive earthquake, and the giant serpent quickly hissed up at Diane and unleashed a blast of pure sonic energy! The energy slammed into Diane, and Diane was thrown to the ground, but the serpent let out a loud roar as it felt a sword stab into its tail! The two-headed serpent looked down and saw that Jason had stabbed it using the [Death’s Mirage]! The area Jason stabbed was already starting to decay, and the Serpent quickly flicked its tail to the side and threw Jason away!

BOOM!

Jason slammed into another mountain a few hundred meters away, but he easily got to his feet as he faced both the serpent and Diane! The three powerhouses understood that none of them were on the other’s side, and that meant that this battle had turned into a lethal three-way where each of them had to deal with two other opponents at the same time! But out of all of them, Jason was the one who had been given the shortest end of the stick! Most of Jason’s Legion was currently preoccupied by the Bengari soldiers and other Sky Serpents, and Jason’s vision had become so bad that he could no longer use it at all! Jason’s eyes were closed, and he was breathing calmly as he tried to balance his Qi output with his magic output without entering resonance.

Even though Jason was essentially blind right now, that didn’t mean he couldn’t see. The skill [Qi Amplification] allowed Jason to spread his Qi out into the world so that anything with life in it would bounce back towards him like a beam of light! Using this skill, Jason could see a version of the battlefield where the two enemies stood out like blue outlines against a black backdrop! Jason knew he would be limited on what he could do since he needed to focus on keeping this skill active, but that didn’t matter! So what if he didn’t have his Legion, and what if he couldn’t see? These fuckers would need at least this much of a handicap just to keep up with him!

Jason let out a calm breath as he prepared himself before he swept his hand across the battlefield and activated [Blood Arts]! All the blood Jason had spilled immediately floated off the ground and raced towards Jason, and they formed thousands of swords that floated around Jason protectively! Jason stood in a ready stance as all the sounds on the battlefield seemed to grow into silent background noise. The three opponents sized each other up as they came up with their own plans, and in the next moment, everyone moved!

BOOOM!!!

ROARRRR!

The giant serpent roared, and Jason grinned as he saw both opponents charging straight towards him! Both the serpent boss and Diane knew that Jason was the most dangerous one there, so they decided that they would take him out first! Jason unleashed his blood blades towards Diane, and black wings sprouted from his back as he followed after the blades with his [Death’s Mirage] drawn back! Diane brought the shield forward, and the rune carved into it glowed with a bright red light as it blocked all the blades charging for her, and Jason raised his [Death’s Mirage] and brought it down in a perfect vertical slash!

BOOM!

But all of a sudden, Diane activated a skill called [Kinetic Release], and she unleashed all the Kinetic energy her shield had absorbed from Jason’s blade attack! The energy slammed into Jason and threw him back! The giant serpent used that opportunity to lunge towards Jason, but Jason spun through the air and avoided the serpent’s teeth before slashing across the serpent’s eye! The serpent yelled loudly as it tried to launch another attack, but Diane appeared before that could happen, and she slammed into the serpent with her shield!

BOOM!

The serpent was thrown back into a mountain behind it, and Diane turned and charged towards Jason with her sword drawn back! Jason raised his hand into the air, and the sky darkened as Jason activated [Wind Blade] at the highest possible output! Millions of blades appeared in the air all around Jason, and they began to swirl into a massive typhoon as they waited for Jason’s orders! Jason had learned during his training earlier that even though most skills were limited by their own skill rank, there was a way to bypass that rank and use the skill against a higher-ranked opponent. To do this, you had to supply the skill with enough mana so that it ’ruptures’ at just the right moment! This rupture was just like a mana explosion, and the explosion from the rupture was always far stronger than the original skill since it unleashes all the high-quality elemental mana put inside it at the same time! Jason called this [Skill Break], and he tapped into that skill as he loaded the wind blades with more mana than any of them could handle! The blades from the typhoon immediately shot towards Diane, and Jason followed after the attack with a Skill Scream that tore across the landscape as a sonic wave!
