Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 882: We Are At War

The woman unleashed a blow that tore through the wind wall and headed straight for Gina! But just before her hit could land, multiple subordinates appeared between the two of them and used their bodies as a shield to protect Gina! The fist tore into the chest of a Machina subordinate and burst out of his back before it slammed into the other subordinates! Gina was immediately sent flying through the air along with all the subordinates that protected her! They all slammed into a massive snow mountain in the distance, and the entire mountain shook as the impact caused a massive avalanche! The woman who hit Gina floated in the air and looked towards where Gina had flown with a frown.

The woman was wearing full traditional armor that had been built for war. On her feet were armored boots that came up to her knees, and she had on a metal breast plate that stopped at her waist. She had on shorts that were fitted with metal armor as well, and there were various runes carved on her exposed thighs that travelled into her armor to show that they had been drawn all over her body! On her face was a metallic mask that only showed her lips and shin, and it had a gap at the back that allowed her long black hair to flow in the wind behind her. In her right hand was a long, great sword carved with the Aruna language written in red Bengari magical ink, and in her left hand was a circular shield with the [Rune of Impenetration] carved in a spiralling circle in its center!

This was Diane, Queen of the Bengari, and she was here to settle a score.

The Bengari woman had seen more wars than most other worlds in the Sixth Domain. The Bengari were known to be warmongers who had enjoyed great prosperity during the period of lawlessness! Every world that came to attack them during that period suffered greatly because they were met with fierce resistance from the warrior women, and even when they weren’t under attack, the Bengari women were known to sell out their services to whoever required it as mercenaries!

Due to this constant desire for battle, the women had developed a special innate skill called [Battle Sense]. This skill rewired their brains in the heat of battle and allowed them to possess inhuman reflexes that were nearly automatic in nature. So as Diane floated in the air and watched Gina’s downed body calmly, there was a tingle from somewhere at the back of her head, and she didn’t even know when she shifted her body to the side slightly and allowed a long spear to flash past her and fly down to the ground!

PHWOOM!

KA-BOOM!

A massive explosion resounded across the area as the [Spear of Heaven] unleashed its mana on impact, and Diane narrowed her eyes before looking in the direction the spear had come from! Diane could feel Jason’s mana signature close by, and she didn’t bother to wait for any of her soldiers as she took off to meet Jason!

BOOM!

Down on the ground, the portal that Diane had come from was releasing thousands of Bengari women into the Blue Gate! All the soldiers were Diane’s supporters who had willingly followed her to fight against Jason, even though they knew that it was against the Primordial Treaty! The warriors all wore the same traditional armor set that Diane had arrived in. They had runes carved into their bodies with red magical ink, and they carried long swords and shields that were also carved with red runes! The Bengari women marched out in a proper military line, and they organized themselves in a straight battle formation. Opposite them, the Legion subordinates blocking their path all screeched and roared in agitation!

"Ugh."

Gina grunted as she lifted a massive stone off her body and threw it to one side using the wind. Gina held her chest as she felt a painful throbbing from deep within, and Gina knew that she would’ve definitely been hurt a lot more if those subordinates hadn’t appeared when they did!

’What the hell was that? Isn’t that the queen of the Bengari that attacked me? Why is she here?’

Gina frowned as she got to her feet, and she looked into the distance to see that Diane was gone, but in her place was a group of Bengari soldiers that were facing off against the Legion subordinates. There were about three thousand Bengari soldiers there! Enough to fill the area in front of Gina like an endless sea of people, and Gina could feel a surge of determination traveling through her heart as she looked at them! These women were different from the mindless beasts or low-level soldiers that the Legion had faced many times in the past! There wasn’t a single one of these women who was below TITAN Rank I, and they all had a look in their eyes that showed no fear! These were true warriors who had dedicated their lives to battle, and even the undying nature of the Legion didn’t seem to scare them!

To anyone else, three thousand soldiers would seem like an unbelievable number! There were enough soldiers to take over any world out there! But to Gina, the numbers didn’t matter! Gina knew just how powerful Jason’s Legion was, and with their abilities, all it took was a few deaths for the tides to turn in their favour! In a war of attrition, no army was better than the Legion!

Gina didn’t bother asking herself silly questions like why the Bengari were here? Or whether they came to get revenge? Gina already knew that the Bengari were angry about Jason getting the title of Overlord from them, and it was obvious why they chose this moment to attack them! So it didn’t matter. Whether the Bengari were here for revenge or if they were trying to prove that Diane was the better candidate, it didn’t matter.

’All Legion subordinates, ignore your current battles and converge on my location with all the superhumans. We’re at war, and I need all hands present.’

Gina passed a message out to the Legion, and her eyes glowed with a green light as an intense wind started to blow around her! Gina floated up into the sky as the winds swirled into a massive tornado beneath her, and Gina glared at the Bengari women below! Gina didn’t care why these women had come here or what their goal was. All Gina knew was that they had attacked first, so they were now enemies.

Gina was going to kill every single one of them!

[With Jason]

Jason flew to the side as one of the giant serpent heads tried to take a bite out of him, and he had to avoid the second head as it came right after the first one! Jason spread his senses out, and he let out a breath in relief as he felt Diane coming in his direction! Jason had felt Diane and the other Bengari women when they appeared a few minutes ago, and the first thing that came to Jason’s mind was that none of the other superhumans would be able to handle Diane! Diane was a TITAN Rank III just like Jason, and Jason knew that Diane could easily take on and kill every single superhuman here without even trying! That was why Jason sent the [Spear of Heaven] towards her! By attacking first, Jason knew he would provoke Diane into coming after him, and that way, he could leave the other Bengari women to Gina and his subordinates!

A streak of silver appeared from the horizon, and Jason let out a breath as he felt Diane’s imposing mana surging towards him! But Jason felt shocked when a passive skill suddenly activated, and Jason looked at his system tab with wide eyes!
