Laughter rippled through the group as Gina’s blush deepened under the playful teasing from the other girls. She swiftly moved to assist someone else with the picnic arrangements. Jason couldn't help but chuckle at Gina’s endearing shyness, a sentiment echoed by the amused laughter of the older men present. A clear, sonorous voice pierced the air as Maya emerged from the periphery, accompanied by one of Jason’s aides. Instantly, Maya was a blur of motion, dashing towards Jason with uncontainable energy. Jason turned, intercepting her just before she could collide with the barbecue.

"Hey there, Tiger! You’re as lively as ever!"

Jason’s laughter boomed as Maya embraced him tightly around the neck, her words tumbling out in a rapid torrent.

"I missed you so much, big brother! School wouldn’t let me go until I got some permits, which is why I couldn’t welcome you back last month! Those teachers are going to get pranked into the new year for what they did! Can you believe Mom wouldn’t tell me what happened to you!? She talked about it with Aunty Riyala, but she wouldn’t let me hear anything! I missed you so much! Did you miss me!?"

"Whoa, whoa, slow down a little, Tiger. Haha. Of course, I missed you. I worked twice as hard just to come see you as quickly as possible."

Maya’s smile widened considerably, an overwhelming wave of happiness washing over her. Without hesitation, she declared with utmost sincerity,

"Big brother! Let’s run away together and get married! Forget about that big-breasted -!"

"Alright, that’s enough out of you."

Gina materialized suddenly, plucking Maya from her feet as if she were an errant kitten. Maya let out an indignant hiss upon seeing the woman she referred to as the 'big-breasted bimbo.'

"Put me down, you homewrecker!"

Gina simply chuckled at Maya’s struggles, which were proving to be entirely futile. It turned out Mira had requested Gina’s assistance in escorting Maya indoors once she arrived, anticipating that Maya might indeed disrupt the picnic and wishing to preserve the celebratory atmosphere.

"Go easy on her, alright. And give this to her when she settles down."

Jason uttered these words while presenting a plate laden with grilled meat. Gina acknowledged with a soft hum, leaned in to bestow a kiss upon Jason, and then proceeded to carry Maya inside.

"Hey, put me down! I said put me down, you homewrecker! Big brother! Don’t let her take me away!"

Jason let out another hearty laugh, making a silent vow to make amends with Maya later.

The picnic unfolded harmoniously for several more hours. Following Maya’s indoor settling with Mira, Gina rejoined the preparations, employing her extraordinary abilities to arrange numerous mats and chairs for the outdoor festivities. The elder gentlemen, engaged in conversation with Jason, consumed nearly a dozen packs of beer. While many of them exhibited a slight flush from their extensive drinking, Jason remained entirely unaffected, feeling no hint of tipsiness. Mira and the other elder women emerged with the prepared dishes. Jason laughed heartily as his mother approached, planting a kiss on his cheek and complimenting his look in the apron.

The teenagers were finally summoned from the house now that the food and meat were ready. Jason found himself facing a queue of individuals eagerly awaiting their share of the grilled meat. He served the boys with ordinary efficiency, but as he attended to the girls, each one would lean in and plant a smiling kiss on his cheek. Jason simply shrugged, accepting the affectionate gestures. Soon, everyone was well-fed, and Jason was finally released from his grilling duties. He set the apron aside, procured two bottles of beer, and made his way to where Gina was seated with Fio and several other cousins. The young women fell silent as Jason approached, and he greeted them with a smile.

"Hey, ladies. Do you mind if I borrow her for a second?"

A noticeable blush spread across the faces of most of the girls upon seeing Jason, and Gina felt an involuntary, foolish smile bloom on her lips. One of the girls, her cheeks particularly flushed, suddenly spoke up with surprising volume!

"N-Not at all! She’s all yours! Take her for as long as you need!"

Jason chuckled softly at the enthusiastic response and extended his free hand towards Gina, indicating his desire for her company. Gina nodded, taking his offered hand, and allowed him to draw her up and away from the table. A collective sigh escaped the girls as they watched Gina depart with Jason.

"Those two look perfect together. It’s almost unfair."

"Did you see his forearms when he was grilling. There were some hot tattoos all over it. Gina said they were powerful runes."

"My stomach feels funny just looking at him. If those arms of his wrapped around me, I’d completely melt."

"What do you think sex with him is like? Do you think Jason could fold her in half like in those trashy romance novels?"

"Considering how strong he's rumored to be, that's definitely within the realm of possibility."

"Seriously, those muscles could fold me in half anytime."

"Hey, all of you, shut your mouths, you bunch of lecherous animals! What do you think you are talking about with children present!?"

"Sigh~ I really wish I had someone like that."

"Keep dreaming. Gina is perfect, so naturally, she'd have a perfect man too! Hehehe!"

The last person to speak was Fio, who clasped her hands together with a pompous air, nodding as if she had just revealed a profound universal truth! The other girls simply rolled their eyes! They were all well aware of Fio's deep admiration for Gina, so they chose to disregard Fio's usual hero worship and returned to gazing at Jason!

Jason and Gina made their way to a table situated near the house, overlooking the yard. Gina smiled as Jason offered her a beer, inquiring if she was ready.

"I'm feeling a bit nervous."

A nervous smile touched Gina's lips as she spoke. Jason simply let out a chuckle, leaning in to gently kiss her forehead. He understood that Gina wasn't someone who easily felt such apprehension, but given the presence of her entire family, Jason could empathize with her current feelings.

Jason spoke with a playful smirk.

"The Queen of Tempest herself feels nervous? Where was this nervousness when you leaped in front of the Beast of the Apocalypse to rescue me?"

A faint blush spread across Gina's cheeks upon hearing this, and she couldn't suppress an amused laugh! Watching Gina's reaction, Jason's heart felt a softening sensation, love surging through his very being. However, Jason was taken aback to discover that everyone was already watching them! The entire family gazed at the pair with pure happiness etched onto their faces! The conversation Jason and Gina had shared was too quiet for anyone to overhear, but the family couldn't help but admire the perfect picture the couple made together!
