Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 770: I’m Going To Kill Him
Previously on Strongest Necromancer System...
Following the chaos in Merivo’s Paradise, Jason dispatched countless Legion members via shadows to serve as spies. He commanded them to gather every scrap of intel possible on the Primordial Expanse's current situation. That data revealed how the Primordial Expanse branded him a terrifying genocider. It also showed Jason boasted far more fans than foes among the domain's folks, considering the Machina's sparse alliances from the start. Yet now, his focus shifted elsewhere. Jason triggered [Eye of the King], redirecting his gaze to Earth and his loved ones. Night enveloped Earth, and Jason figured the family had mostly returned home. He sought his mother first, spotting her in peaceful slumber within his old bedroom. Mira clutched Jason’s pillow tightly against her bosom, drawing a melancholic smile from Jason. Her longing for him shone clear, steeling his determination to rush back home without delay.
Jason’s younger sister Maya sprawled on his bed as well, dozing next to Mira with arms and legs splayed out like a flattened beast. Jason chuckled with delight at the funny scene. At last, he checked on his other sister, Janet. Shockingly, Janet wasn't home. She labored instead at a desk in Jason’s guild hall. Jason murmured in astonishment, pondering how many days Janet had spent toiling there. A person sidled up from nearby, passing Janet a steaming coffee cup. Jason knew him instantly: Francis Luud, the initial joiner of Jason’s Monarch guild from the Yellow Gate raid months back. Francis settled beside Janet, beaming joyfully as he sipped his drink. Jason caught Janet’s cheeks tinting pink while she set aside her tasks to talk with Francis, enjoying her own coffee. Jason’s eye spasmed at their grins—he sensed those were no pure-hearted smiles! What in the world was Francis plotting with his sister?
’I’m going to kill him once I get back.’
On Earth, Francis quivered as a sharp pang of terror shot through him. Janet blinked wide-eyed in confusion as Francis abruptly scanned everywhere for lurking perils!
Jason at last focused on Juliet, his trusted secretary overseeing the Monarch guild during his absence. A grin crossed his face seeing her asleep at her office desk, head pillowed on papers. Juliet outworked everyone to ensure the Monarch guild ran flawlessly without him. Insights from the subordinates Jason placed with guild members showed they raked in massive profits, positioning them among the world's top powers now! Jason kept enhancing those subordinates via Upgrade Points nonstop. Currently, most accompanying his guild folks hit Rook Rank I and II, rivaling Yellow Gate Bosses in might. No Gate challenged the guild anymore—they conquered every one in under a day. Government contracts flooded in, keeping them swamped for ages!
Tug!
Jason glanced downward as tiny hands yanked his trousers. A small elven girl gazed up teary-eyed. Blood trickled from a gash on her knee. With a gentle smile, Jason channeled his Qi to mend the injury. The girl’s eyes bulged in awe as it sealed, then she giggled while Jason fondly tousled her hair!
"Thank you!"
The little one waved goodbye and dashed off to play again. Jason laughed softly, resuming his vigil. He felt relieved seeing Earth prospering so grandly. His Monarch guild and Cersei’s covert group, Gaia, both thrived spectacularly. Peering into Gaia’s records, Jason noted they’d started assembling dossiers on him from intel on Earth’s interworld visitors. He’d bet Gaia and Cersei knew all about his Machina slaughter and every wild exploit. Whispers of his deeds had blanketed the entire Primordial Expanse, impossible for them to miss!
"Lord Jason, would you like to come flying with me? I know a beautiful alcove where we can watch the stars."
A stunning woman approached Jason from behind, prompting him to turn and face her. She ranked among the most gorgeous attendees, clad in a silk gown with off-shoulder straps, her pure white hair shimmering under the moonlight. Yet Jason had no interest in a clandestine rendezvous with a stranger; he flashed a smile, turned her down, and prepared to depart. A hint of disappointment crossed her features, but it held no significance for him.
"Lord Jason, would you please –"
"I already said I wasn’t interested."
Jason spun around sharply while snapping those words, blinking in shock as he realized it was someone different. The silver-haired beauty had already slipped away, disappointment etched on her face, replaced by Leona, Arandelle's princess, standing before him. Jason grinned and apologized for his outburst, while Leona shook her head with a knowing expression! As a young unmarried lady of Arandelle, she moved in numerous social groups and had overheard many women there yearning to become Jason’s wife. Leona, being a woman too, couldn’t deny her own curiosity. Still, she disliked the horde of females overwhelming Jason all at once. That wasn’t her reason for coming, though. Leona advanced a step and spoke steadily.
"Lord Jason, would you please come with me to the castle? My father wanted me to fetch you since there is someone he wants you to meet."
Jason hummed thoughtfully, noticing Farlow had vanished from the party ages ago. That damn traitor. He’d ditched Jason amid these ravenous women and just disappeared? With a quiet sigh, Jason glanced at Gina, who was under siege from questions by married ladies in Queen Camilla’s inner circle. They grilled her on the pregnancy and her impending wedding, and despite Gina’s steady smiles and replies, Jason could see her desperation to flee the scene.
’Babe, I’m going inside. Do you want to come along?’
Through their mental link, Jason contacted Gina, and the relief flooding her face as she turned toward him nearly drew laughter from him! She bowed to the older women, thanked them for their company, and hastened to Jason’s side beside Leona. Jason offered his hand, and Gina slammed into his chest with a tired sigh!
’They wanted to talk my ears off, babe! I couldn’t even get a word in!’
Chuckling, Jason softly stroked Gina’s hair before bending to kiss her crown. He pivoted to Leona to ask her to lead them inside, but spotted her eyeing Gina with subtle jealousy. Calling her name jolted Leona from her reverie; she blushed furiously and smiled at Jason!
"Y-Yes, my lord!?"
"Take us inside to meet your father."
"Uhm, yes, of course!"
Leona hurried ahead into the castle, Gina linking arms with Jason while smiling as they trailed after her.
