Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 759: A Good Woman

All the elves understood that Jason was currently the most perilous individual in the world, capable of annihilating them entirely if he so desired! Yet Jason never bothered with others' views of him, and after completing the greetings, he paid attention as the eldest prince began to speak.
"We, the members of the Arandelle Royal Family, on behalf of all citizens, cannot thank you enough for what you’ve done, Lady Gina. You haven’t just saved the life of the Queen, you saved the life of a mother, and a good woman who was loved by millions across the world. And for that, we can never truly repay you. We have prepared a festival to be held here in the capital city tonight in honor of your bravery and sacrifice. We hope you will be willing to attend."
Gina clung to Jason’s arm while glancing up at him with curiosity in her eyes. Although she desired to join the festival, Gina realized Jason yearned to head home immediately, so she’d only participate if he gave the go-ahead. Jason peered down at his beloved, offering her a gentle smile, which earned him Gina’s beaming response as she nodded to the prince and expressed her honor in attending the festival! The elves’ faces lit up with delight upon hearing Gina’s agreement, and the eldest prince continued speaking.
"That’s splendid! Please come this way, our father asked us to bring you to him once you arrive. He wanted to be here to welcome you himself, but I’m sure you understand why he couldn’t leave our mother’s side."
Gina nodded while trailing after the eldest prince. She couldn’t blame Farlow for skipping her welcome since, in her place, she’d act identically! Gina had parted from Jason for merely a week and couldn’t release his arm since then! Should she be separated from him for years, she’d confine them both in a room away from all disturbances!
Jason and Gina chatted idly via their mental connection while navigating the castle corridors. Having spent time here, Gina was familiar with the palace and pointed out intriguing features to Jason along the way! Walls displayed numerous paintings, alongside sculptures and artifacts serving as ornaments. Each royal sculpture had a weapon placed before it, which Gina noted belonged to past elven Kings. Every elven King wielded the primary sword [Wind Shear], but their secondary weapons remained in the castle post-mortem as memorials. Trailing them, Stella walked with hands clasped ahead and a faint smile, her expression brightening further as she observed Jason and Gina. In reality, Stella had fretted over their bond. Following Aquinas events, she feared Gina’s resentment toward Jason, yet was relieved Gina grasped his lack of control then. Unlike Gina, Stella harbored no grudge against her master. As a former soldier, she knew the Vympir toxin’s effects best! Jason’s resistance and recovery from it deserved admiration! Stella rejoiced that her master endured!
Maids hurried through the castle, pausing to bow to the group as they passed. Gina waved at familiar ones, and Jason grinned seeing maids wave back with smiles! During their talk, Gina shared how she’d climbed the tower and witnessed Farlow beside his comatose wife.
’... it was really sad, but all I could think about in that moment was how beautiful she was. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone as beautiful as that before...’
Jason raised a brow and hummed thoughtfully, pondering what beauty could prompt such words from Gina! Biased by his love, Jason deemed no woman rivaled Gina’s allure. Thus, her praise marked someone truly stunning! Soon, they entered one of the castle’s grandest bedrooms, where Farlow sat by the vast bed clasping his wife’s hand. The Elven Queen sat propped up, smiling at Farlow’s words. Her pallid, weary skin reflected years unconscious, yet despite frailty, Jason saw why Gina spoke as she did. The Elven Queen was utterly breathtaking!
"Gina, Jason. I’m glad you’ve returned."
Farlow rose upon spotting the newcomers, turning to his wife as she gently squeezed his hand. He smiled and introduced them.
"Honey, this is Gina and Jason. Gina was the one responsible for finding your spirit and returning it to you, and Jason is her betrothed. Gina, Jason, this is the most important woman in my life, my wife, Queen Camille."
"Oh, you can be so cheesy sometimes, Farlow. Why are you trying to embarrass an old lady like me? Gina dear, I can never thank you enough for what you’ve done for me. You were willing to risk your life in order to save my own, and that is something I will never forget for as long as I live."
Queen Camille extended her hand to Jason and Gina, who approached the bed to greet her. Jason bent down for a brief hug and smile before stepping aside for Gina. Gina perched by Camille, embracing the stunning queen warmly while saying:
"I simply did what I thought was right. Your family was there for my family when we needed them, so I’m only returning the favour. How are you feeling? You were unconscious for a long time. Is your body alright?"
Queen Camille appreciated Gina’s worry with a smile, assuring her she felt more vibrant than ever. Though unconscious for years, to Camille it seemed mere moments ago she’d shut her eyes, with time flashing by upon waking. Yet she recognized vast changes during her absence and was gradually adapting. Nearby, Jason and Farlow observed their loved ones’ exchange patiently, until Jason heard Farlow’s calm voice.
"You’ve found yourself a good woman, Jason. Your father would be proud of you."
Jason responded with a calm hum, watching Gina chuckle softly at Queen Camille’s remark. He’d long known Gina’s excellence before dating, so Farlow’s words were unnecessary.
