One final glance at her data confirmed everything was ready, and the woman finally spun around to gaze at the massive magical construct dominating the cave's heart. Numerous Magical Stones channeled mana into a towering glass cylinder positioned centrally. Within that glassy enclosure, a bare man drifted softly in a bath of Magical Essence drawn from assorted mana stones. An oxygen mask covered his nose and mouth, while his lengthy black hair swirled loosely about him. Intricate dark runes, pulsing with an intense crimson glow, etched across his form. Despite over three decades inside this cylinder, his physique remained robust and formidable, with the immense power surging through each of his cells detectable by anyone drawing near.
Approaching the cylindrical form, the woman pressed her palm against it, her expression brimming with affection. She stared at the slumbering man's features, feeling her determination and vigor surge wildly merely from observing him. The woman recognized that the moment drew close. For three full decades, she had nurtured and safeguarded him, yet soon he would venture forth to pursue his fate, and her role was to prepare all for his revival.
"Rest easy, beloved brother. Our time approaches swiftly. You will stir soon, and upon awakening, all in this realm will recognize your splendor. Seize what is rightfully yours, and together we shall rise to realms above, forcing our foes to submit. Brother, rise at last. Your sister yearns for you."
Stepping nearer, the woman embraced the cylinder tenderly, then rested her cheek on its chilly exterior, shutting her eyes to savor the steady pulse of her brother’s heartbeat resounding to her ears! Over thirty years she had endured this wait, forsaking every personal longing to provide the safeguarding and attention her brother required. Yet with the discovery of the final element for his complete elevation, she understood his awakening loomed imminent. Reports of Jason Marc’s triumph over the Machina, trailed by his undead Legion, had raced through the Primordial Expanse at breakneck speed, even penetrating to her secluded spot in the Primordial Zone. Contrary to the masses who lauded Jason’s might and hailed him as the budding legend of the Primordial Expanse, this woman understood Jason’s prowess as merely pilfered inheritance. That strength was her brother’s by right, and retribution for Jason’s debt approached swiftly.
....
Jason, however, remained oblivious to his emerging fame as a legend. Following the grueling conflicts and near-death ordeals during his quest for Gillian and his clash with the world at large, Jason had collapsed from utter fatigue. The toll he endured in that brief span exceeded what any human ought to bear, sustained solely by his survival instinct and the rush of adrenaline coursing through him! In his unconscious state, Hesabeth assumed responsibility for preventing any repercussions from his fresh Vympir change. Having once shared a bond with the Vympir Queen, Hesabeth possessed deeper knowledge of the Vympir metamorphosis than any outsider, fully aware that unleashing Jason into the world unchanged would spell disaster.
Several hours post-battle, Hesabeth initiated an interdimensional link to Farlow, requesting a discussion with him and Gina; the ensuing exchange proved fraught with tension and volatility.
Farlow was stunned upon receiving word from a servant that Queen Hesabeth sought him via the Crystal Ball. This Crystal Ball, a rare relic sourced solely from TITAN Rank beasts, functioned on an enigmatic magical wavelength immune to decoding by spells or codes, ensuring total privacy for transmissions between devices—though their scarcity limited widespread use. Just ten had surfaced in the last thousand years, and post-Primordial Treaty, they distributed to the Council of Nine and One’s members for swift exchanges and updates on Expanse happenings. Hesabeth had never before dialed Farlow directly with the Crystal Ball, and given her recent display of Primordial Bias, the proud Queen’s words filled Farlow with unease. Nonetheless, he brought Gina along to respond to the summons. Nestled in a vibrant magical woodland boasting trees in vivid hues, Farlow’s domain showcased elven harmony with the environment. Instead of felling timber for clearance, elves wove their realm amid the foliage: dwellings perched on mighty boughs, abodes hollowed in trunks. Vast walkways bridged trees into pathways, alive with the joyful cries and aerial games of elven youths echoing throughout!
Resembling a structure from enchanted tales, the grand Elven Castle left Gina speechless upon her initial sighting! Venturing within, she marveled further at the enchantment expanding its interior beyond exterior bounds, forming a self-contained realm of structures and avenues—an awe-inspiring sight! Yet Gina had scarcely savored the Elven splendor then, her mind consumed by Jason’s plight, which worsened when he fainted and severed their link. Thus, upon learning of Hesabeth’s outreach to Farlow, she eagerly joined him!
Upon reaching the spot, Gina voiced the query first.
"Where’s Jason?"
Displaying a crisp image of Hesabeth’s visage, the communication Crystal Ball captured her features tightening into a scowl at Gina’s impudent address. Gina paid no heed to Hesabeth’s reaction in that instant, simply furrowing her brow while anticipating an answer.
