Strongest Necromancer System Chapter 1169: Bastion of Fire
Previously on Strongest Necromancer System...
If the Pirate King wanted to use fire, then Jason was more than willing to fight fire with fire.
[Phoenix Fire]
BOOM!
A massive explosion suddenly went off right in the middle of the city! A torrent of fire surged through the air, and every single part of the city was immediately scorched from the impact of the two PRIMORDIALS. Up in the sky, Valeria was riding on the back of Ragnar, and she watched in shock as the entire city was decimated by the power of the PRIMORDIALS. The continent was shaking from this one impact, and Valeria couldn’t help but be impressed.
CAW!
Helios let out a cry as it came around and landed on Valeria’s shoulder, and Valeria gently petted it as she turned back to continue watching. The smoke slowly cleared up to reveal the fighters again, and it showed Jason standing calmly in the middle of the battlefield, while the Pirate King was lying on the ground in a heap of blood with his right hand missing.
Although both fighters were PRIMORDIALS and they had used fire-based abilities, the Pirate King had seriously underestimated Jason. Jason had never tried using his Resonance to power his Qi like this before, but Jason couldn’t deny that the results were perfect. Jason already knew that this resonance could power his magic-based skills, but he didn’t know that it could make his Qi-based skills this powerful as well.
Jason had completely overpowered the Pirate King’s skill, and even the Pirate King couldn’t believe what had happened. The Pirate King looked over at his missing arm in disbelief, while sitting on the charred floor, and he looked down at the ground before looking up at Jason and speaking in a low voice.
"You were just playing with me, weren’t you? You already knew how this would end."
Jason just shrugged nonchalantly, and the Pirate King chuckled to himself humourlessly before he finally asked.
"Before you kill me, at least tell me who you are. Why did you come to find me all the way out here?"
"Why would I waste time talking to a dead man?"
Shink!
SLASH!
Jason suddenly pulled out a blade from his Alternate Dimension, and he slashed it across the Pirate King’s neck and killed him at once. Jason had already learned his lesson about talking to his enemies from his fight with Theosis, and from now on, Jason would always kill his enemies the moment he saw his chance.

The Pirate King’s head fell to the ground with a thud, and Jason only glanced at it for a moment before he turned to the body and put his hand out.
"Resurrect."
DOON!
The entire region shook with power before the Pirate King’s soul slowly clawed its way out of the body and stood tall in front of Jason. The King immediately went on one knee and greeted his King, and Jason smiled and patted him on the shoulder a few times before he began walking out of the destroyed city.

Description: A one-time use artefact that allows a user to boost their stats within a certain region by planting the Bastion in that region. This Artefact only works on fire-based skills, and mages with an inherent fire-type magic will gain the maximum benefits from it.
Once this artefact is planted, it becomes tied to that region, and it cannot be moved or replanted by the same person. The artefact will have to be passed onto someone else before it can be reused.
——
Jason read through the information from his system, and he hummed curiously when he saw the description of the artefact. So that was why the Pirate King gained such a sudden boost to his stats. He must’ve planted the bastion in this region as his territory. Jason looked down at the object in his hand. It looked like a regular dagger, but it didn’t have a hilt, so it was more like a nail that you would hammer into the ground.
’Hey, get out here.’
Jason called out to one of the subordinates in his Legion, and the dark elf mercenary from Malovena’s crew came out and bowed to Jason respectfully. Jason threw the bastion to the elf and told him to take it to Earth.
’Give it to Gina and have one of the bishop-rank dragons bury it. Stay there with the others when you’re done.’
The Elf agreed, and it immediately sank into the shadows and took off. The elf was very knowledgeable about the Zeroth domain, so it was more than capable of using transportation and other secret methods to reach Earth very quickly. Jason knew he didn’t need the bastion at all, but if one of the dragons on Earth buried the bastion, then the dragon would gain a significant boost to its stats, and that would help it grow a lot stronger. Jason would talk to Gina later tonight and tell her about the bastion.
Once the elf left, Jason continued towards the other side of the city to meet with Valeria, and Jason allowed his attention to travel back to the Eastern continent where the Golden Dragon lived. The Legion had already begun the fight against the Golden Dragon a while ago, and currently, the massive Lightning Dragon had teamed up with three other large dragons that had been killed and resurrected. Two of the new dragons were TITAN Rank III’s, and the third one was a low-ranking PRIMORDIAL, so together, they were putting up one hell of a fight against the Golden Dragon.
The Golden Dragon itself was an absolute freak of nature. Jason already thought the Lightning Dragon was huge, but this Golden Dragon made the Lightning Dragon look like its younger brother. It was massive.
Just like Jason expected, the golden dragon had golden scales and massive golden wings. Its eyes were blood red, and its long talons were shining with a silver light that made it very noticeable from any distance. The dragon was flying through the air with an angry look on its face, and as it let out a massive roar towards the forest below it, a wave of pure golden fire erupted from its mouth and scorched the entire island. The island was filled with Legion subordinates, so Jason immediately got thousands of messages about dead subordinates from that one attack.
Jason quickly sent more than enough mana to resurrect the subordinates, and it was almost funny to see the absolute shock on the face of the golden dragon when it saw the subordinates coming back to life and charging up for another attack. Hundreds of dragons unleashed their flames towards the golden dragon and chased it towards a corner of the island, and the dragon let out another massive roar as it tried using its tail and wings to get rid of the enemies, but the dragon had no idea that it was moving straight into a trap, and once it was close enough, the large sea serpent, Jormunga lashed out from the ocean and unleashed its strongest attack.
[Ocean Ray]!
TWOON!
A beam of super-concentrated water shot through the air and slammed into the left wing of the dragon. The dragon let out a loud roar as it lost its balance, and it was immediately sent to the ground with a mighty thud.
