Jason obliterates the Kraken with a single devastating attack. After recalling the beast's remains, he resurrects it as a subordinate, gaining a powerful artifact and valuable stats. Ronna, deeply impressed, pledges her loyalty and that of her crew to Jason, seeing him as a divine figure.

Jason blinked in surprise at the scene, and he decided right then and there that he wasn’t dealing with any of this! Jason floated off the ship with Valeria, and he spoke calmly to the kneeling pirates.

"If you want to serve me, then stop your pirate life and start living normally or something. I’ll keep an eye on you."

Jason didn’t really care what Ronna wanted to do with her life, but if Jason could get one less person to stop being a pirate, then that would be alright. And besides, Ronna had helped Jason get to the Kraken, and Jason wasn’t the sort of person to accept favours without giving anything in return. So Jason decided to leave a few Bishop Rank subordinates in the shadow as protection for the pirate crew. If Ronna and the others actually lived well, then the subordinates would help them when they need it. But if not, then they would be abandoned.

Ronna was a little surprised by Jason’s order, but she decided that maybe this was how Jason got so strong. If helping people would help her get stronger, then she would definitely do it! Jason gestured for all his subordinates to enter the Alternate Dimension, and once they did, Jason took off with Valeria.

One of Ronna’s men on the ship came up to her and spoke in a confused tone.

"So, what now, captain? Are we still going drinking?"

Smack!

Ronna immediately hit the man on the head, and she stood up and exclaimed to all her men.

"Did you fools not hear the words of Lord Jason! From now on, we do not plunder or steal! Our lives as criminals are over!"

The men all looked at each other when they heard this, and they murmured curiously while wondering if Ronna had gone mad, but Ronna shouted to them.

"DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR, MEN!?"

"Yes, captain!"

The men all shouted, and Ronna nodded seriously before she told her men to follow Jason to the main continent. Ronna knew that Jason was heading towards the Capital city to face the Pirate King, and Ronna wanted to be there to help her master when the fight begins.

....

[With Jason and Valeria]

Jason was currently riding on the back of one of the large dragons in his Legion while looking through his system tab. Beside him, Valeria was sitting cross-legged on the back of another dragon, and her eyes were closed as she meditated on something. In Valeria’s lap, the massive phoenix, Helios, was lying peacefully. After the fight with the sea monsters, Helios had been angry with Jason for not using Phoenix Fire at all, and Helios had left Jason’s robe and gone to Valeria instead. Jason didn’t have time to deal with the traitor, so he just allowed him to stay with her.

Jason was looking through a map of this world on the system, and he felt a probe coming towards his mind from Valeria. Jason knew that this was one of Valeria’s telepathic skills, and Jason opened his mind and allowed her to talk to him.

’How are we going to handle the Pirate King? I want to fight as well this time.’

Valeria was a little annoyed that she didn’t get to do anything against the Kraken, even though Valeria understood that the fight was too dangerous for her to get involved in. But since they would be facing regular pirates now, Valeria definitely wanted to do something. Jason just told Valeria that she could fight whoever she wants.

’I’ll head towards the Pirate King’s mansion to take him out. There should be guards and pirates around. You can handle everyone else that gets in our way. You’ll be in charge of the Legion.’

Valeria nodded when she heard Jason say this, and she was silent for a few more seconds before she asked again.

’How about the Dragon? Are we going to deal with that after we kill the Pirate King?’

Jason hummed. Jason had actually been thinking about that, and Jason decided that it might be better to just send some subordinates over to take care of the dragon.

’Actually, I plan to deal with them both at the same time.’

Valeria’s eyes opened, and she turned to Jason in surprise.

’Really?’

Jason just nodded once, and Valeria shook her head before turning back to watch the ocean pass by. Valeria already knew that Jason had a very versatile power, so she wasn’t surprised that Jason was planning something like this. In fact, it was expected! Jason went back to looking through his system tab, and he used the [Eye of the King] to keep an eye on the beasts that he had sent towards the opposite continent of Capri where the Golden Dragon lives.

The Primordial Lightning Dragon, along with the Jormunga had been sent out along with thousands of Bishop and Knight Rank subordinates. No matter how powerful that Dragon is, Jason knew that two PRIMORDIAL Rank subordinates with thousands of TITANs would be more than enough to take care of it. The only thing Jason had to worry about was the smaller dragons that might be supporting the Golden Dragon, but Jason knew that a prolonged battle would always turn out in his favour, so he was sure his subordinates could handle it.

As Jason and Valeria continued flying over the ocean, they passed over many small islands that had towns or villages built on them. There were ships anchored at the shore of these islands, and Jason had even seen a few pirates moving through some of the towns. Anytime the dragons passed overhead, the pirates would immediately duck and try to hide since they feared that the Golden Dragon was coming for them, and Jason just scoffed in amusement whenever he saw this and continued on his way! It took nearly one hour of continuous flying before Jason finally saw the massive shore of the Main Continent in the distance. There were hundreds of thousands of ships lined up along the entire shore, with even more moving in and out from different parts of the continent. And the moment they all saw the dragons, they immediately brought up their defences and activated their weapon systems!

Jason wasn’t really interested in any sort of conversation here, so he simply called on the most dangerous member of his Legion.

ROARRR!

"It’s the Kraken!"

"The Kraken is here! Run for your lives!"

"How did it get into the shoreline!?"

"Move!"

"Fire all weapons!"

The roar of the Kraken shook the confidence of everyone standing there, and they all felt an immediate surge of fear tear through their spines and into their hearts. Jason watched as all the attention was shifted from the dragons to the Kraken, and the pirates immediately opened fire on the massive beast! The rain of magical blasts echoed through the region and lit the entire shoreline in brilliant, deadly colours, and Jason easily ignored all of that as he began making his way deeper into the continent.

This part of the continent was a massive city known as the Port Town, and just like the name suggested, it was basically filled with shops and bars where pirates who came back from their adventures could go and rest. Jason and Valeria didn’t have any interest in this part of the continent, and since Jason knew he couldn’t use the Kraken at its full ability outside the water, Jason decided to just leave the giant beast at the coastline here so it could cause as much damage as possible and draw more pirates away from the Central City. This way, Jason wouldn’t have to deal with too much trouble while searching for the King.
